Practice Battles (Not Mock Fights) - ADventuresVDO - 04-04-2016 Let's say that Jams was in the mood for a casual fight, nothing that could lead to death, but was still something he wanted to do IC for the fun of it. Would he have to change the damage meter to ridiculously low levels, or turn it off? Would it have to be a mock fight if he wants to avoid death on either side regardless of reaching 20+ damage (as if Jams were strong enough for THAT to happen)? I'm just asking because Jams is the kind of guy who doesn't want to cause anyone the displeasure of dying and having to wait/miss 3 days respawning as well as having to come by Jams[' place] to grab their stuff afterward. And also because learning through pre-written text is one of my least effective learning methods. RE: Practice Battles (Not Mock Fights) - Mark - 04-04-2016 You're totally fine to just write up a spar type thing and not even have a damage meter. You don't need to have it be an official graded fight if you just wanted to have a quick little for-fun thing. RE: Practice Battles (Not Mock Fights) - ADventuresVDO - 04-04-2016 Alright, thanks again Mark! I appreciate you answering so many of my questions recently! RE: Practice Battles (Not Mock Fights) - Mark - 04-04-2016 :awesome: No problem, man. Happy to help! |
