Omniverse logic - Amaterasu - 03-10-2016

(this is meant to be a fun and silly thread, not one that points out actual issues or flaws. Thank you for understanding!)

A few things to get the ball rolling:

For the same price as you learn basic punching and kicking (Physical Strength) you can buy an enormous mansion (a base).

In a similar vein, a single Senzu bean costs the same as three of those enormous mansions.

And a gun with burst and automatic modes plus a bayonet and an underslung grenade launcher will cost more than an entire building.

Perhaps that is why there's no Real Estate Agents in the Omniverse...

You can fly around in a rocket ship on the planet but it can't take off into space.
Fists hurt as much as guns.

RE: Omniverse logic - 0∞ - 03-10-2016

Sure, the Omniverse SEEMS infinite, till you learn to fly and soar face-first into a Verse's ceiling or wall.

Actually, at equal attack fists hurt MORE than guns, because guns have higher range.

If you can fly you can also jump very high, because apparently the "Wing" package comes with "spring legs" included.

Non-primes can't fight with you unless you pay for their admission fee.

RE: Omniverse logic - Darkarma - 03-11-2016

Mobile bases are impossible to move even if they are star ships.

Floating bases need a means to reach them from the ground, regardless of if they have a recall station or the owner has flight, purposely so they can be attacked.

I mean.... You can't fly into something that isn't there...

The greatest bit of omniverse logic...!

Mass and momentum do not contribute anything to the ATK of any action, unless it comes in the form of a cave in from the Storyteller. In which case run very very very fast.

Moves cannot kill no mater how dangerous they are until after the third round of a fight, unless they are you know... Stormtroopers. *Whistles*

We're not sure if there is a limit to how much ice cream a prime can summon.

We're not sure how much ice cream a prime can eat!

A horse can run at the same speed as a motorbike, and do so without getting tired.

Also, apparently summoning a complex organism such as a close friend or a horse to ride doesn't cost anything, but summoning a small lump of metal in weapon form does.

You can have a crowbar shaped shield whose purpose is a shield at the cost of 300 om but you cannot use it as a crowbar unless you pay for it the crowbar as well.

RE: Omniverse logic - Chloe Price - 03-15-2016

You need to pay to use a crowbar as a bludgeon.
You need to pay to use a sword, even if you find one and pick it up.
You need to pay to be able to punch people.

RE: Omniverse logic - Amaterasu - 03-15-2016

You can have enough strength to level buildings with a kick, while being unable to jump higher than one meter.

RE: Omniverse logic - Dr. McNinja - 03-15-2016

You can be able to throw a punch that can cause earthquakes which moves five millimeters per hour.

RE: Omniverse logic - Magus - 03-16-2016

If two people have the exact same gun and the same amount of SPD, but one person has more ATK, then that person can shoot their bullets 'harder' than the other, even though they're both moving just as fast as each other.

RE: Omniverse logic - Amaterasu - 04-15-2016

Writing a 100 word post about walking around the Nexus earns you about the same amount of OM as if you write a 100 word post about your character dedicatedly extracting OM from the resources around themselves.
