Retiring Desco - Schwi Dola - 02-27-2018
After long consideration I have decided that Desco had a good run but I am no longer interested in continuing her Storyline.
I would like to retire Desco and take her OM and transfer it to Schwi as if I had just character changed to Schwi.
Earned OM: 29555.38 - 5000 = 24555.38 / 2 = 12277. + 5000 = 17277
Would this be permissable?

'Old up, I don't see why this is not permissible. You're basically character swapping to Schwi on this account, right? And then then the old Schwi account gets deleted? Except for convenience's sake, we'll just continue using the Schwi account so that the existing posts and stuff are still linked up ... I really don't see why we can't do that.

It's not transferring OM. Desco want's to write as someone else. He made an alt, but now realizes he would rather have just switched because he has no desire to keep Desco. Seems excessive not to allow it.
I mean, what would prevent him from just deleting Schwi Dola or switching off Schwi Dola to another character and then switching Desco to Schwi Dola? He'd be well within the rules to do that, so it seems just simpler to allow what he's asking. That's what I believe Omni is getting at.

Yes this is what I want, it would erase the OM currently on Schwi's account and overwrite it with the OM on Desco's account (after adjusting as normal for character change). So Desco's account should be reset to 5000 om (or deleted? whatever works, if it doesn't bother recordkeeping) and Schwi's account changed to 17277
@Sauske: What stops me is the delay of character changing
.i'm not sure what a account merge details, if that is something the forum software can do so then that works.

It merges both your accounts, so that all posts for Desco would become Schwii posts.
If you plan to add a second character again down the road, it's probably not a measure that's needed, but it's an option if you feel like you'll be scaling down to just Schwi for a long while.

Well, whenever you want to handle this, you'll just have to post a character switch form in the Joining forum, and allocate your OM and so forth.
