Bounty Tournament? - Black☆Star - 12-11-2015
I've been thinking about this for a couple days now and I figured I should voice it and see what kind of feedback/interest pops up.
Essentially, any interested parties sign up and are given a set of bounties with escalating difficulty. Then there would be a final bounty that is the most difficult to complete. First to complete it is the winner, and claims the best bounty hunter in the omniverse title.
Very very brief nondescript overview, but I think the jist is there. I just want to know if anyone would be interested, if there's anything of the sort in the works and what not.
Aaaaand discuss.

Yo you're gonna find a lot of bounty hunters in the Under Verse if you stay going after some of those bounties!
Not saying don't do it, because this is awesome, but just know :p

I will personally be unlikely to participate, but I still throw my Aye into this hat. It certainly sounds like a fun, competitive event for those like Samus and Teal who like to have their prey be difficult to capture. However, this may have to be sorted out after the Colosseum, since we will have many burned out from it.

Might be a cool thing as less of an "event" and more of a thing that's just ongoing. A bounty competition seems like it would take a while.

Yeh it was never intended to be something thrown into a time frame, more like a persistent event. And yeh, definitely after the tournament, in the new year at some point.

Keep in mind, I hadn't planned to use active PC bounties, I'd do some extra leg work and come up with some completely random and new bounties for the sake of this tournament.

What if all participants ante up some omnilium, 300 to 900 maximum. This becomes your own bounty. All participants hunt all other participants. When you win, you get that person's bounty added to your own. The final survivor gets to cash in their omnilium bounty in.

Right, so essentially, it'd be like betting on yourself? You put up a 300 om bounty for yourself, you lose and the person who beats you gets that 300 om, while you're left 300 om short?

Right so after a while of thought and consideration, I've come to a head on the system I'd like to follow with this.
Depending on numbers, there'd be a set number of "heats" with a set number of bounties (again, dependant on numbers interested/taking part). Each bounty is able to be taken up by a maximum of 2 people. Whoever either completes the bounty first or eliminates their opponent before they can complete the bounty wins their heat and advances to the next round. Bounties scale depending on who takes it. So say a level 1 and a level 3 take the bounty, to level the playing field as best as we can, the bounty npc would most likely be a level 2. Granted the level 3 can take out a level 2 with relative ease, but what's to say the level one doesn't join forces with the npc to take down their respective level 3 opponent?
