Damn Why is it So Bright? - Erica - 12-06-2015

Jay breath in deeply as his vision slowly returned. His head was pounding and his stomach churned like a nasty storm was sloshing around in it. He lurched forward hacking up the contents of his stomach which had been some seafood. His right hand steadied him while his left held his stomach as he continued to hurl.

His breathing evened out as he stopped hurling. His wiped his mouth on his left sleeve as he tried to stand. He stumbled a little but soon got his balance the bright light of the room seem to sting his eye. This only made his head pound harder. He looked around at his surrounding he was near some kind of Fountain. His memories of what happened flood his mind. “ What interest can I be to someone named Omni?” The words slipped from his mouth almost silently.

He tried to cover himself in a dark shroud but found that his powers were not responding. “ Damn I have got to get out of this place.” He squinted around the bright white room he could see several structure that looked to be gates.

He began walking northeast his head still pounding. As he walked the pounding in his head lessened. He could now see a gate that seem to be made of grass and wood. He kept his pace up for twenty minutes. The gate seemed to get closer but it would take another hour and a half or so the reach the gate it was hard to judge with the with landscape. He stopped moving for a few moments to get his barrings.

He looked to the east to the gate made of stone. There he saw a small group of people coming out of the gate. At first it looked as though they were on foot but them there before them began materializing was a group of horses. The process took several minutes to complete but there they were living breathing horses. He wondered if he could conjure up a horse. Omni did say all he had to do was wish.

Jay knew he did not have time to think about that when the horse began heading his way. He picked up his pace from a jog to a run toward the green gateway. He kept his pace steady but he knew they might catch up. It took him an hour and forty-five minutes to reach the gate. He looked at the sheer size of the gate in awe then with out looking back he stepped through the gate.
