Fusion Mock Fight Discussion! - Ruby Rose - 11-20-2015
LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
So, we finally have sixteen competitors, which provides four two v two fusion battles! Now, this is how everything will work:
- Soon after posting this, I will begin writing opening posts for each of the four fights.
- There will be a five day grace period after these being written, with posting available to everyone after Thursday 26 November, 12:00 am GMT
- In this grace period, you will be able to converse with your fusion partner, decide on a name and look, personality, whatever else. After posting begins, you may still do this, so don't sweat it.
- The deadline is a week after the end of the grace period; Thursday 3 December, 12:00 am GMT
- Post here when your fight is finished, and use it to discuss fights or ask questions. Thankfully we have some mods competing, so they may be able to assist.
- Rulings will be posted in each starting post.
- When posting, each character may control the fusion as if it were a fusion character canonically; the rules there don't change, except there is no SP expenditure.
Now, about judging... Jade, Alex and I have already conversed and decided that one person from each fight will judge the next one over, and we decided the three of us would be the ones to judge from our fights. However, due to conflicting matters (see match-ups in a moment), I will not be judging, so I would like to ask a volunteer from the last two fights to judge as well. Judges will be using the Colosseum-style scorecards, but applying scores as they see fit. These will go in the corresponding judging thread.
Now, without further ado, here are the fixtures!
Luger + Zoro vs Desco + Jade
Demetri + Alexyana vs Connor + Ruby
Rubick + Adam vs Arthuria + Gamzee
Ballad + Weiss vs Victor + Axorn
Also, if any of the times clash with something, please tell me and I will see what I can do. Depending on the situation, I may be able to swap your post for your partner's, give you an extension or you may just have to post late.

Don't know how Jade wants to fuse. Desco's form of fusion is very simple. She changes into a sword and Jade wields her. But we could do something a little more integrated.

Actually, bit of a change; if you and your partner are ready to post, ask the opposing pair if they're ready. If so, go ahead and post before the end of the grace period!

That's fine by me! I've got the Physical Strength and stuff to do that.
If you'd like, we can discuss a more integrated Fusion by PM, but I'm okay with just the sword if that is all you want to do.

Quick Question. One of the rules is that there are two posts for each of us. Does that mean EVERYONE. (that is, me, Weiss, axorn, and Wolfe) all post twice as our respective characters, or does one side post twice and the other side post twice?

Look in your fight's post order and post count; it goes Ballad -> Weiss -> Victor -> Axorn (Twice over), meaning you each get two posts by following the order twice.
