[/float] So here I am, I don't know why I am here and its only a fact of where I'm stuck now that I haven't made my way to some place more civilized. So here's what I know about Omniverse, the person or god-thing Omni brought me here, I ran for life from raving lunatics in white armor before being gunned down. That was painful. My former Transfiguration Professor is also here in a place known as the mythical Camelot which I completely missed when randomly picking a gate. Bad luck huh?

I hope Professor Dumbledore doesn't hold my late homework against me.

So my question is, I'm trying to find out more about what happened since I was summoned from my world in 1943. Last I heard Gellert Grindelwald and Hitler were tearing Magical and Muggle Europe and Britain apart. Anyone teach those wankers how to die quickly, hopefully painfully?

Also where can I get a proper owl?

Kind of a miracle that I figured this whole thing out. Some rather dapper Rock Creature showed me how to make this 'dataverse device' right before a bloody volcano erupted and he got himself melted. So right now I'm hunkered in the poor chaps house until this storm of ash and fire subsides.

Anyways as much as this 'instant' technology is great, I'd rather prefer something that I can write with, like a good inkwell pen and some parchment. Maybe a few good books to write in as well. Or some books to read? Everything in this house is stone aged. Not even sure how to get the tranny to work, if that's what it is. Not even a proper Wizarding Wireless channel far as I can tell.

Some of you fuckers take your Harry Potter LARPS much too serious. Owls, spells, Tranmogrifications, or whatever bullshit they come up with when they need it because the plot demands it. Fucking nerds, do you really mean there is someone that takes all that fake magic bullshit seriously here? Real magic is bloody, savage, and a lot more deadly then that fancy wand waving bullshit they have in those books. Sam and Charlie might have loved those things but they were AWFUL! Plus that loser with no nose who was supposed to be the big bad? Worse. Villain. Ever.

Though knowing this place you could seriously be someone from that god forsaken universe, and if you are please stay the hell away from me. I don't want your imaginary nerd book stink within a ten mile radius of me or anything I own, that shit never comes off!

Perhaps you should make yourself clear. You make reference to a number of things to which I'm familiar with and yet... I am concerned by your dismissive and perplexing attitude. At what point has my society's magic become weak? Do we no longer have the ability alter the very fabric of time itself, nor touch the primordial forces of the universe and reshape reality to suit our desire? Also, who is Harry Potter? I am familiar with the Pureblood line of the Potters. Of them Henry and Fleamont Potter are distant relations of mine. Do I have a cousin out there somewhere?

waitwaitwait, what?? whats a muggle?????????? thats such a funny word, i can kind of see why that anon thinks magic is a fakey fake thing! although, my friend rose was pretty proficient with the dark arts and such, so its obviously not in some universes

im not really sure if magic is the same here, though?? i mean, i guess it would be, depending on the kind of people who were brought here and how they used it in their past universes!! also, have you tried summoning an owl with omnilium??? i summoned my dog bec that way, so maybe it will work for you as well!!

and as for your more, uhm, historical questions from earlier: yes!! a resounding, wonderful yes all around!!!!! at least for one of those guys

oh!!! and harry potter is a wizard kid, i think?? uhm, scar on his forehead, like a little lightning bolt or something silly like that!! i never read the books about him but my friend rose sent me a ton of pretty illustrations for a while there, but i couldnt really say anything as to who he actually is???? sorry! :(

Wow! You are being fucking serious here, aren't you? Fine, I will explain this once and I will try to not use too many big words to confuse you.

YOUR. WORLD. IS. A. FAKE. It's a book series written for kids to make them feel better about their shitty lives, at least that is how it is where I am from. If you haven't figured it out by now everyone here is from another universe, and in some of them worlds like yours are fictional, not real, made up, mass market media bullshit to pacify the masses.

In my world Moldymorts, Bumbledoors, and the whole lot are just characters in books. Harry Potter is the main character, the entire fucking universe revolves around him, probably why the entire serious was NAMED AFTER HIM. The wand waving and saying a few made up words doesn't work in most worlds, it is designed to entertain children. Real magic is more primal then that, when people die they are not hit with a bolt of green light then drop instantly. They bleed from every orifice, their insides liquefy, they feel every minute of it as they die slowly, screaming in total and utter agony. It uses blood, bones, death, and darkness. For the most part nothing good ever came with messing with that shit but once in awhile you can get lucky, intentionally or not. Those cases seem to be rather rare, so it is best to stay away from it.

Back to my earlier point, this gods forsaken place we are now stuck is a fucking mix and match bargain bin of whoever that Omni jackass could get his hands on. All your questions about what happened in your world are null and void unless you can scrounge up or summon someone from it. Hell, you even said your old prof is in Camelot, why not just go ask him!?

It is either that or you are lucky enough to find someone from a universe where the books exist that was lucky enough to bring them along for the ride, though that highly unlikely and would mean spoilers! You might find out you wind up deader then a door nail, which might still happen if you continue to piss me right the fuck off.

You do me a great honor by attempting to assist me. As for the workings of magic I’d say it will take much time, blood, sweat and tears to make the conversion. As for an Owl, I unfortunately don’t think that would work given the restrictions on how these communicator thingies seem to work. Nothing physical can pass through them so an owl would only make a traveling companion at best.

As for Grindelwald and Hitler, I imagine the muggle could not have continued without the Wizard’s backing and without Grindelwald being done away with the muggle and his armies would be unstoppable. At least I can take solace in the fact that my family up in London, my immediate family that is, likely survived the war to end all wars.

As for Harry Potter, if he is who you say he is; I may know his father or his uncle. There’s a Charlus Potter in Gryffindor a year or two my senior. Met the bloke once. Decent sort for Lions, big goals and moderate if blowhard integrity. But then again all Potters are like that from what I hear.

Should we meet, I would most certainly look forward to such an experience of communing with a lovely young Witch such as yourself.

I do not pretend to understand your attitude nor your Misanthropic actions within this letter chain. I only seek what has become of my people. What has wizarding society ever done to you if we are in fact characters in a book? Doesn’t the very nature of this… place engender your situation in the same way? May you not just be a character upon a telly broadcast? Merely a construct of the social consciousness who spent many an hour wasting away in the presence of its light and sound.

Dear Dataverse
Well it seems that no matter where I go, there is always some wanker who wants to stir up trouble. First it’s Hitler bombing my home town, backed by little wankers who have Wizards improving their combat capabilities and now this. Some posh red tosser with a fetish for yellow just inscribed some rune in the sky above Nippur. It’s all very doomsie gloomsie. Has this guy have a stiff one for his own voice? Seriously shouting with a sonorous charm 'Join or die', excuse my French but who's this bastard bloody think he is?

All I'm here to do is help an acquaintance out of jail. Apparently a friend of a friend managed to get himself thrown in jail. Said friend isn’t in the omniverse anymore so I may have to summon him when I get a chance… in the meantime though I’m stuck under the threat of the Sword of Damocles. Anyone know who fits the description of red with a yellow rune fetish, can fly and in general think’s he’s a god above gods?

Here’s his symbol. I tried to inscribe it magically but it seems to be inert in regards to my own arcane system of empowering runes. I don’t recognize, it maybe someone else will; but I’m about a minute from just cursing this fool so he has an ass for his lips and I don’t mean the animal.

I’m normally not one to get excited but this whole thing rings like bloody egocentrics on a high of their own superiority where they have none. Everything about them is mediocre with only enough talent to make them think they are greater than they are.

Worse though is that we’re stuck out here outside the city waiting for the front gate to clear. What’s wizard to do? Sing, dance and do the waltz? I know I owe my old buddy for getting my hat out of the fire but this is a bit much. Not that I won’t do it, I’d just like to know who I’m going tango with; so here’s me asking for help. Thank you for your reply. I imagine this place would be rather grim without your bright presence especially at the moment. Currently, there does not seem to be much happening other than some nutter fellow named Dean who just crashed his car, purposely, into the City's Gate. Is no one around here sane? I understand my fellow wizards can be a misbegotten people as far as common sense is concerned, and rallying them to a cause is like herding snitches... but this takes it to a new level of idiocy even for a muggle.

I really am on the fence about this whole issue... I imagine ol' Potter would be rushing in, wand blazing like the mad hatter seventh year that he is. But he's a Gryffindor, it's expected. This act of senselessness though is pushing it even for a Slytherin like me. We're supposed to be the ones with ambition and cunning but here neither would be useful as there is no clear line as to any solid good choice for maximum outcome. Still though sensible minds must prevail at the very least I can watch and wait for something to happen maybe report like you said.

Anyway... you mentioned Factions, what do you know of them m'dear?

well, i only know of a few factions to be honest!! there is the kingdom in camelot, dwarves and trolls in the frozen fields (the dwarves are the nicest), theres new babylon which apparently chases people around the dunes sometimes (that is really all i gleaned from what ive heard of them!!), and theres ambrosia in this place called the tangled green that my friends karkat and gamzee interacted with (i think that one sounds pretty nice c:) and then theres the omniverse institute which is crazy cool and has all of these big plans!!!!

although, well... i mean, not that i have anything against any of these groups, but all but ambrosia seem to be (inadvertently, i hope!!) getting into trouble!!! :( it would probably be a good idea to wait until things calm down before compleeeetely committing yourself to a group, id say!!

and ahaha, wow!! it sure sounds as if there is a lot going on where you are!!! try not to get run over by any fiery motor vehicles, i guess????
