Where would you be? - Dawnika Snow - 11-06-2015
This may be a weird thought to others, but many of us here play canon characters or OCs from canon universes. I think it's interesting to understand what universe you would live in if you could chose, being your real live self. Anyone care to share? If so what would you be like in this universe?
For me, it would most likely be the Bleach universe. My OCs started as semi-canon character shinigami. Over time I developed them in to my own kind of original beings. If it wasn't the Bleach universe, it would be the SAO universe Or Akame Ga Kill as an Imperial Arms user.

As just a normal guy, I'm pretty terrified of going into MOST universes. I'm having a hard time imagining a place I'd want to go, but somewhere where you had the ability to overcome your mundaneity with like, mental focus or something would be preferable.
Like, the Harry Potter universe is a good call, but only if you're a wizard. SAO might almost be a good idea, except for the part where it's like a videogame that'll fucking KILL YOU (and also the grossest example of male hero fantasy I've ever seeeeen). I don't really wanna pilot any giant robots, because unless I'm one of those perfect mofos (which, if we're honest, clearly not) I would just get blown the fuck up... Mortal Kombat is obviously a no-go... Ummmm...
Is there a universe where I can will my way into immortality?? xD

Hm, this is a tough question! I'd probably go someplace that is better tech-wise but basically the same, like the MCU. I have no idea of what I would be like there, like maybe I could be better at math than I am now. Iunno. xD

Full metal Alchemist would be my second Choice. Again, anyone can be an Alchemist, it's not a limited thing.
The Omniverse. Being in the Omniverse would be pretty cool, If you're a prime. But if you did go to the Omniverse as a prime, you would be able to overcome any sort of 'mundaneity' that sinestro was talking about... because you're a prime.

MTG Multiverse would be good, or Warbreaker or Elantris worlds in the Cosmere.
For the former, planeswalker, for the latter I'd pick up the magic systems, snatch up immortality and world hopping.

You wouldn't have planeswalker power, you'd have to have the spark and only 1 in a million have it.
As a Pokemon trainer, ordinary humans are incredibly durable. So I'll go with Pokemon.

I've got a hard time choosing... the universe Alexyana is from is pretty neat because when you die you become either an angel or demon, so it's immortality for everyone.
Then there's Pokemon, because any scrub can catch a good Pokemon and become strong plus it also has free healthcare...
And what about League of Legends, where you get to settle huge political debates by controlling powerful champions remotely? Then again, I probably wouldn't be allowed to play anything more than a caster minion :yay:

I'd be in the Star Wars universe. Mainly because I have tons of experience with it. And even if you aren't a Force user there's still a crap ton of cool technology.
Like Boba Fett has a friggin jetpack, a rocket launcher, a machine gun blaster, near-indestructible armor, a ridiculous amount of utility gear, and more all at once. You can become a one man war machine lol.
The Naruto Universe is pretty sweet too. But due to its proclivity to having DBZ style antagonists that could blow up the entire world with a single jutsu...might have to stay away from that one on second thought.

All of the universes I like, If I went there? I would be so so very very dead.
Supernatural? I'm not a Winchester therefore I am dead, turned into a monster and then dead later on, possessed and then dead, or I befriend them and help them out and then end up dead later. On the off chance none of that happens then some HORRIBLE SHIT comes and fucks up my life forever and they pass through and stop it but my life will still SUCK at that point.
Silent Hill, while I love the universe let us be honest. So dead. So much dead would I be, dead to the point I can not grammar it properly.
I mean maybe in the firefly universe, you can survive there and be a space Cowboy and shit, but let me be honest here if you are not on Serenity then it is pointless. Still barring any Reaver attacks you could have a nice life there flying in space and shit. But in all honesty I have a smart mouth therefore me = shot = Dead.
The Omniverse does seem to be the best option. You can come here and suck at everything but over time by just doing stuff, and potentially dying A LOT, you can grow and learn new shit and become whatever the fuck you want.
