SCP-079 (SCP Foundation): I've always enjoyed the idea of robots becoming more human in unexpected ways. For example an AI without an even functioning body vying desperately for control over the world its found itself in. Combine that with the SCP Foundation attempting (of course failing) to "contain" the Omniverse and hilarity ensues.
Agent Smith (The Matrix): Similar idea as above.
Satan (Christianity, every movie about hell known to man): Looking objectively at him from a literary perspective, very interesting character. Of course would cause problems to actually RP as him lel.
Omniknight (Dota 2): For the shameless punz
Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi (Yu-Gi-Oh!): Split personality/possessed characters are always cool, even with something as tame as Yugi. Also using a duel disk and summoning monsters for actual combat? Yes plz.
Orochimaru (Naruto): Favoritist villain of all time in anime. My experience with anime isn't exactly wide, but 'Rochi was cool as hell.

Dust from Dust: An Elysian Tail (Stopped playing this game for about a year, and I was only about twenty percent through the game... and then I picked it up and got to about seventy five percent in two nights. The main character is just a total badass, there's so many possibilities for moves and stuff, and not to mention just RPing as him with his personality, along with having TWO others to talk to all the time, would just be amazing)

Shu Ouma from Guilty Crown (MY GOD this guy would focus on mimic so much, weaving the story of GC, particularly the ending, into the Omniverse would be a blast)
Adam Jansen from Deus Ex: Human Revolution -And possibly other DE games- (With the customization of the nanotechnology within this badass, coming up with moves and upgrades would be a breeze. Honestly, you could change this guy to your will; take him down a path of chaos and destruction, or get him to assist in apprehending criminals... THIS GUY'S POSSIBILITIES ARE ALMOST LIMITLESS!)
Enoch Magnum, and OC of mine (I don't really need to explain much, except for the fact this guy's ALSO a badass, and I wanna RP an OC and build him up as a proper character, but I also don't wanna get rid of either of my current ones ;-; )

I've completed full join forms for all of these characters, and at various points have been a few words of encouragement away from switching Matrix out for any of them. Now that I've figured out what I'm doing with Matrix, these are all considerations should that mythical third character slot ever become a thing.

I've always wanted to play people from the Disgaea universe, but I'm still making my way through 5... I'm reserving judgement on it too because I want to kill at least two of the main characters already.
I might play Grima Wormtongue and have him in an alternate universe where he survived Legolas' arrow and ransacked the tower for magical stuff and became the new Lord of the Tower.

There are many possibilities yet only two truly interests me. Is that strange? I look at this and so many people have lists. Hope you don't mind my input but it helps pass the time.
