Not in LittleBigPlanet Anymore - Asriel Dreemurr - 09-29-2015

The Burlap Chap himself walked to the front window looked out of his cardboard Pod onto LittleBigPlanet with a smile, he had had done enough work for a long while. He just saved the planet of Bunkum from the villainous Titans. It was a long journey, but with the help of Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop, not to mention the Creator Curators, they had done it. He stood in the middle of the floor and then a circle right where he was standing lowered, and took him to his bedroom. He plopped on the bed, and fell asleep blissfully unaware that Omni just now took control of his Pod.

“Error 42,” said the Pod computer in its feminine British voice, “Hacker detected. Hacker detected. Antivirus protocol destroyed.”

A rip in reality opened and the burlap doll was sucked in.

Quote:You wake up in a black void, and there is a grinning silhouette in the darkness. You find you cannot speak, but somehow it seems to know what questions you want to ask, even without you asking.

(OOC: Sackboy doesn’t speak anyway.)

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Sackboy nodded his head, thoroughly fascinated with the concept of the Omniverse.

Quote:Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.

Sackboy felt stronger than he had in years holding that glowing orb. It soon absorbed into his body.

Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

The darkness fades away, and you find yourself in a vast, empty white landscape, in front of a fountain.

Sackboy opened his eyes wide and spun around, observing the strange white void. He saw eight gates, each with different traits, in the distance. He had a feeling that this world will be his greatest adventure yet.

It was going to take a long time to walk to one of them. Who knows what threats may lurk in the endless white?

After some pondering, he figured he was going to make a car using Omnilium. He opened his Popit to try to find an Omnilium tab, but was just as he feared: there was no tab for Omnilium. But there was something else interesting he found: there was another page of the Popit that was blank. Could it be that this Omnilium could potentially give him new abilities or the combat tools he was given during that strange event when Polygon Man gathered people from different dimensions to fight?

He reasoned that he should try to concentrate on the image of a red convertible with a lever instead of a steering wheel for as long as it takes and sat cross-legged. It does take a long time to design an effective car back home. After about five minutes of meditating, a red convertible with a lever instead of a steering wheel materialized out of thin air. He gave himself an imaginary high-five. He opened the left door, scooted to the middle, sat down, and pulled the lever. Off he went to the shining steel gate of Coruscant.
