Jak's death shroud covered the man as he took the walk through the Nexus once again. For now, nobody could see him or he couldn't see anyone but he could hear whatever was around him. It took him time to adjust to be somewhat alive again. For once, in that ... dark place... He almost felt Erol injecting dark eco into him. The faded image of his fear of Erol trying to ruin everything in his life. Once the faded image of Erol had "died", he had a lot more on his mind. He remembered his death in the dunes.
Jak gritted his teeth, he felt so weak. There was no way he was supposed to fail Victor and his associates on this damn mission but he did. The one thing that made him trustworthy had blown up in his face. Some damn stormtrooper had squeezed a shot and he was not prepared, but he did hear Victor's words aimed like a dagger at him and Daxter as he was dying.
That was low.
He could anger Jak, he'd take the shit but threatening Daxter? His best friend? That was a new low in his book.
Jak gritted his teeth and kept walking, the death shroud busted off Jak as he turned.
