After Christmas - Omni - 12-26-2013
Hey everyone! Hope you've all had a nice and relaxing holidays. Just to let you know I'm still around and planning on renewing this place in the new year, once the busyness of the holidays is passed. I'm actually gonna be moving house in the second week of January so I'll be all set up with a new command centre from where I can RULE OVER THE OMNIVERSE!!! *gets off chair, stops shaking fist*
So how've you guys been?

SO busy. Work is so crazy this time of the year. I feel so maxed out, I barely go online
. I'm hoping that things calm down come January. I miss writing, even just for myself.

I figure everyone's in the same position this time of year. Things started getting busy for me back in October. I miss the times that were so quiet I was able to complete the Omniverse rules WHILE AT WORK
But luckily I think come February it's gonna be totally dead at my job once more.

This is actually one of my few periods of time when I'm bored and have nothing to do! I mean, I do have a little bit of work at the family business this week, but otherwise I'm free until January 19th. I go to a top engineering university in the Midwest, so my time is normally stolen by math, biology, physics, and chemistry. Hopefully, I'll be able to continue writing once back on campus. As long as there are posts to reply to, I can maintain a degree of responsibility to post in my free time out of (or in really boring) classes.

Christmas was pretty good for me. Big change for me is the new job. I wish I could say there's a new Sheriff in town, but I'm merely a jailer at the moment. The 12 hour work days are rough, but I get between 3-4 days off a week, so I really don't work much more than anyone else.
Of course, that coupled with the 3 (nearly 4) month old twins, trying to get my bills straight and sell the old house, and working on my Criminal Justice degree... well, I don't have a lot of free time. I DO, however, plan to get back into writing again.
I assumed activity died down for the holidays, and the new Pokémon coming out a few months back couldn't have helped much either. Hopefully, things'll get back up and running and I can get back to gifting you guys with weekly bonuses and my presence.
And, to clarify, it is I who rules this Omniverse. I merely allow Omni the small joy of being the face of the website.

This Christmas was awesome despite family drama.
I am at a high point in my life right now. I've finally got my degree and I met a wonderful girl. All I need now is to land that job and become a supercrimi-investment banker. Yeah. That.
