Mid-battle retreats - Sarah Kerrigan - 09-18-2015 Say prime A is working in a group to help safeguard this fortress. A very strong prime - we'll call him prime B - busts into the area he's guarding. the ritual going on in the center of the fortress is actually nearly done - Just a biit more time is needed. Prime A knows he doesn't have fair odds on taking out Prime B, but he's definitely capable of stalling. If this situation came up - where, in a fight between two primes, one wishes to retreat mid-battle or otherwise work without the intention of a straight win or loss, but rather has retreat on the brain, is this possible in the current game system? Re: Mid-battle retreats - Minato Namikaze - 09-18-2015 You can try to escape fights, meaning that this is plausible RULES ON ESCAPING FIGHTS
Re: Mid-battle retreats - Kenpachi Zaraki - 09-18-2015 There's a bit in the fight rules about escaping. fights.php#Escaping_Fights Basically if you aren't too far into the battle, it's possible. I assume this is to prevent people from queuing up and chickening out at the last minute. In your scenario it seems likely that it would work if you had (as mentioned in the link) a large enough difference in your SPD stat, a flashbang, teleportation or a burst movement/super speed. It's still up to the discretion of staff, though, and the opponent can still choose to chase if if they want to. So, possible. Make sure your lookout has some escape tools/powers. =P EDIT: BAH. Yellow Flash beat me. |
