Friends in the Past - Agent Venom - 09-12-2015 I really want to know what happens if you meat someone from the same universe as your character, for example Batman and Joker. Would they still have all of their history or would they be complete strangers to each others? This question goes for allies, lovers and family as well. Re: Friends in the Past - Zack Fair - 09-12-2015 It's mainly up to the writers of those characters. That said, unless you go with an amnesia plot or something similar, their history isn't erased or anything when they get here. Pretty logical for Batman to recognize the Joker, and so on. Re: Friends in the Past - Agent Venom - 09-12-2015 Okay thanks Re: Friends in the Past - Omni - 09-13-2015 That said, they might be from different versions and have different histories with each other. For example, my character Enel and the character Luffy are from the same universe. Luffy comes from much later in the timeline, where he has already met Enel. My Enel, however has never met Luffy. That's totally acceptable and is the kind of 'paradox' can result from the Omniverse, which can make for some interesting IC conversations. Re: Friends in the Past - Agent Venom - 09-13-2015 That does make sense. It would be cool to see old enemies meet under different circumstances and lead to becoming allies. The same vice versa as well. |
