Email from 'Nealaphh' to 'Specter - Tearen Wover - 09-10-2015 To: specter@cinnisle.mobi From: nealaphh@antiomni.org Subject: Regarding Your Interest Dear Specter, Thank you for your interest in the potential of the Omniverse Institute. It is always enriching to speak to another intellectual, especially if they see eye to eye. I am glad that you enjoyed the Monotruth; sometimes I grow concerned that the ideas I put forth in the text are difficult to understand. It is good to know that, at least to those with a broad mind, they are mentally legible. I have heard the comparison of our detention within the Omniverse compared to being 'toys' of the Smiling One in the past. In the interest of intellectual discussion, I would posit that the reality is much worse. To me 'toy' would seem to indicated that The Smiling One takes an active part in interacting with us, even if it is on a condescending basis. Based on what I have observed, I feel that our Pale Overlord takes a much more lackadaisical approach in deriving his amusement from our torment and strife. Though he does specify that he has taken us into his Omniverse for the sole purpose that we 'interest him', I believe this interest is something more akin to that of interest in a pet, or a lab experiment. The Smiling One seems more than content to simply sit in his isolated world and let us wreak havoc on ourselves; he doesn't need to lift a finger. But, please excuse my digression. I am elated to hear that you are willing to make a commitment to the unification of the Omniverse in the interest of fighting against that which gives The Smiling One his pleasure. Based on what I can glean of your nature from this limited medium, it appears to me that you would make an ideal candidate for the Unity Branch of the Institute, but this is by no means absolute. Please, feel free to use this channel to discuss our future decisions regarding your role inside the Institute. I look forward to hearing from you. Stay safe, Headmaster Nealaphh Re: Email from 'Nealaphh' to 'Specter - SARU - 09-10-2015 To: nealaphh@antiomni.org From: specter@cinnisle.mobi Subject: Regarding Your Interest Dear Nealapph, I had read what you had brought up to me in the recent e-mail and I do have to admit that my premise on the topic at hand was slightly off. The true aim was to indicate a similar ordeal of us being used after being torn away from our realities and many more offenses against us in general. Anyhow, on terms of the position in the Unity branch, I would like to know further on terms of my responsibilities within the Institute if you would please. I know that you are a very busy individual and within utmost suggestion, take as much time that you require with the added details in a future e-mail. I eagerly look forward to what you have in store. Best Regards, Specter Re: Email from 'Nealaphh' to 'Specter - Tearen Wover - 09-11-2015 To: nealaphh@antiomni.org From: specter@cinnisle.mobi Subject: Re: Re: Regarding Your Interest The original intention behind the Unity Branch's operations was more scientific than clandestine, and in that regard, many of the participants of that particular branch of the institute are more focused on espionage and reconnoissance. As such, it would be nice to have a truly scientific mind on hand to be able to conduct the sort of critical experiments that I have planned. You, of course, would also have free reign to suggest and carry out your own scientific endeavors using the Institute's resources. While I do respect your intelligence greatly, I hesitate to make you a Dean, if for no other reason that the position requires a fluency in the nature of the Omniverse that I cannot be certain you possess. Perhaps if we are able to meet in person, or if you are able to provide suitable evidence to the contrary, I will reconsider. The possibility is there. In the mean time, I am happy to extend a formal invitation to our ranks as a follower of Unity. Let me know, at your leisure, your decision on the matter. With Utmost Respect, Headmaster Nealaphh |
