Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 As he entered through the gates into the Ashen Steppes, Larry couldn't help but look around in awe. Wow, this really did look just like home, didn't it? Or, at least, it had a very large resemblance to it. The Koopa Kingdom had similarly dark, foreboding looking lands. Ones that could make some of the bravest trespassers tremble in their shoes. Well, except for maybe Mario. That plumber did seem pretty hard to scare, after all. Although, this place looked like it could potentially give even their old place a run for it's money. So much smoke, so much lava, so much ash. It seemed a wonder anyone could survive here at all. Well, he wasn't just anyone. He was the son of King Bowser himself. So, he was going to go through this ashy place, and, he was definitely going to survive it. Why wouldn't he? He was awesome, after all. As he started walking through the ashen landscape, he wondered just what there was he could do here. Maybe he could find some monsters to thrash with his awesome skills? Although, lava regions usually tended to have some of the toughest monsters around. Could the same be said for this world in the Omniverse? Well, it might be best if he took a look around, anyway. But, first, he took the three minutes it required to summon a pair of a binoculars. He sighed. Why did this world have items that always seemed to require three minutes to summon? It was becoming a big pain in the neck for him. What if someone had tried to attack him while he was summoning them? Then he might keep getting distracted. But, fortunately for him this time, there were no distractions, and he managed to summon the binoculars, which he began to use to try and look around. "Well, doesn't look like there's anything interesting in the immediate area." However, suddenly, his binoculars caught a glimpse of a shape. A certain, familiar shape. "No way...It can't be him, can it?" Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-05-2015 It's been awhile since the elder Magikoopa was patrolling outside of the Castle in terms of the current events and noting that King Bowser demands that the others are to be found, it's a must no matter what. After all, it has been recently that Iggy and Ludwig had returned, however even so, he was wondering about how Ludwig is doing. He's been acting..off..as of late and in a sense, he is worried about him, especially when he is the younger apprentice to the Magikoopa. Well, of course he would, he's been around the Royal Koopa family for a rather long time In fact, ever since Bowser was a little tyke and during their time on Yoshi's Island. However, while searching, he saw binoculars in the distance, beckoning his attention. Was it someone familiar? He was sensing something and carefully he hovered closer from his position. Could this be one of the Koopalings or another footsoldier goofing off? Well, actually, it better not be the latter. Kamek hates it when laziness is in the formula since he's strict about that territory. He didn't want the Koopa King to lose his temper all because of what occurred; in fact, that's the LAST thing he wanted to happen. As he came closer, he saw a very familiar blue mohawk that looked oddly familiar..wait a moment! Is he seeing things? Even if it's not a major thing, sometimes Kamek can mistake one thing for another due to poor eyesight for his age but it didn't stop him. He eventually stopped in place. "..Larry? Is that really you over there?" he asked while looking to over to him while on guard. For Kamek, he knows that sometimes you can't really trust what you see but if it is Larry, then this would be more good news to report to the Koopa King. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 Oh, it was him, alright. It both looked like him, and sounded like him, at least. Oh, this could definitely bring back memories. But, first, he sighed irritably, and replied, "Who the heck else would it be? If I was an enemy, trying to sneak into the Koopa Kingdom, I'd choose another one of my siblings. Not because I, as enemy, would be particularly smart, but, because I would mistakenly thing they're 'greater' than lil Larry." He airquoted greater, then started muttering various insults about his older siblings, and some especially vicious insults about Junior, before sneering at him. "Of course it's me, you crazy old fossil-face! If it was Ludwig, or Junior, you'd never doubt it was them, because their 'specialness' would fog up your stupid, dumb-looking glasses, ya wrinkled relic!" He knew that was the truth. If someone saw Ludwig or Junior, they'd never think twice about whether or not it might be some kind of trick. Oh, no, they'd immediately welcome them with open arms! He sighed. His life wasn't that great. Especially not when everyone thought the best of not only the oldest of his siblings, but, the one who was actually younger than him! Anyway, he crossed his arms, and narrowed his eyes at the Magikoopa. "But, how do I know you're really Kamek, hmmmmm? You could just be somekind of shapeshifty guy, trying to trick me into going wherever you want with you." It's true. It could be. Could be some sort of shapeshifter, who somehow knew that Kamek helped raise him, along with all of his siblings. And, he didn't know that much about this world yet, so, he didn't know what kind of shapeshifters might be inhabiting it. So, he just stood there, continuing to glare at the magikoopa suspiciously, waiting for somekind of real proof that this was the old shellsore he kinda loved, but was also annoyed by. Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-05-2015 Yep, definitely Larry. Short-tempered and has a way with his words, but then again, he shouldn't be insulting Kamek at point blank range; perfectly normal. However, instead of getting mad, the Magikoopa turned to an alternate route of using reason. The elder chuckled a bit as he replied,"You know, I had the same feeling about you. It's been awhile since I last saw you, Ludwig and Iggy, with the latter having already reported to Castle as of recently. As of recent, King Bowser as well as me and everyone else are worried about the safety of you Koopalings as well as the Young Prince due to the fact that there are outsiders causing us issues all around," He was telling the truth after all. I mean, why would he lie to the children that he helped raised? "However, if you want to really know that it's truly me, ask me anything. After all, the difference between an impostor and the real thing is to the fact of how well they know of you. However, only the real thing would truly know of the deepest things that you hold close to whereas the other would stumble somewhere," A good suggestion. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 So, Ludwig and Iggy were there too. Well, it looked like he had beaten Roy, Wendy, Lemmy, Morton, and maybe even junior there, at least. Well, if this Kamek lookalike was to be believed, anyway. He said something about Bowser being worried about the safety of him and his siblings, but, he kept on a face of healthy disbelief. For a koopa, at least. If his father was worried about his safety, then, why the heck did he keep sending him to the closest world to Mario every single time? And, why the heck did he choose Junior as heir, but, still leave him with the least power of all of them? Ah, well, it didn't matter. Kamek did have a habit of trying to make their father sound good when talking to them, but, he wouldn't be so easily swayed. And, that was if this even truly was Kamek at all. Probably somekind of shapeshifter. So, how exactly could he stump him? There was no telling just what all an impostor could know, exactly. Maybe he could ask him to tell him all of their childhood nicknames. But, then again, didn't half of the Koopa Kingdom know that by now? No telling who else could know then. Maybe he could ask them if they knew what his favorite sport was? No, then they might just be able to make a lucky guess. And, he didn't want them to have any sort of chance of getting lucky at all. No, he had to make this good. He had to make it so stumpy worthy, so tricky, so dastardly sneaky, that there was no way in heck he would ever be able to guess what it was. He thought on it for about half a minute. And, then, a smug smirk crossed his face, followed by an arrogant grin. "Which one of my siblings do I dislike the least, spectacle beak? If that even is who you really are~?" Oh, yeah, he'd definitely get him with this one. Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-05-2015 "Why you get along with Ludwig rather well," he mused. Of course, he remembered the fact that Ludwig and Larry enjoyed their company together in their childhood days. To Ludwig, he was the mentor to the younger siblings before and even after Bowser Jr.'s time. "As children, you two would have fun with each other as well as come up with schemes together. Even though sometimes, you have your spats every now and then but you look out for each other in the end. In fact, Ludwig would defend you from the other siblings whenever things go out of control in the Castle," It the worse was with Roy and Ludwig before it went to Junior. Oh how the struggles of raising these children was and with so many fond memories, but thank goodness for Ludwig who watched over the siblings while the Magikoopa ran duties for the Koopa King. "You all were a bunch of little rascals but you were your father's little rascals," he chuckled. "Raising you children was no easy task but it was something I did because of not only my loyalty to the King since he was a child, but because you needed parental guidance as well as someone who would watch out for you," Of course, after all, he was there since the start. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 He stared at the magikoopa for quite a few seconds...Before crossing his arms, and turning his head, grumbling a bit. Ok, this had to be the real deal. Noone could possibly know something like that, except for a few. And, that included the old magikoopa himself. "Ok, so you're the real Kamek. What do you wanna do, take me to whatever base we have here? Meet the others?" He wasn't quite sure he liked that idea all that much. He didn't want either Ludwig or Iggy looking at him like he was their little brother again. He wanted them to see him as more than that. He wanted them to see him as awesome. But, it was just too soon! He needed to toughen himself up, become stronger, maybe find and beat the heck out of a Mario brother or two, so that he could show them just how strong he could really be! But, he supposed it might be a good idea to see and meet them again, at least one more time, before he went back out, and started making a real name for himself. He sighed reluctantly, before looking back over at the Magikoopa again. "Alright, I guess you could take me back to your base, or whatever. Just don't expect me to stay real long, or anything like that. I still gotta show them that I'm more than just their little brother. And, to do that, I'm gonna need some time alone. Ya know, by myself, figuring out how to become the Koopaling I was meant to be. Out in the world, proving myself, and stuff like that. Maybe I'll do some brotherly junk with them in the future, but, I really need to be the best Larry I can be." Hopefully, the magikoopa wouldn't be too disappointed by him saying that. But, even if he was, well, tough noogies. And, deep down in his koopa heart, he knew the magikoopa would understand what he was saying. Like he said, he had raised them. And, he probably knew more than any other that Larry wanted, no, needed to prove himself just as capable, if not more so, than his siblings. Whether the Magikoopa liked the idea of the young koopaling going back out later by himself or not. Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-05-2015 "The Castle isn't far from here," he replied before he looked in the direction of the nearby cavern tunnel closeby that would lead to the inner reaches of the Koopa Kingdom where the Castle is. "However, I have one question; do you happen to have your scepter with you? You know that you'll need it with you at all times. After all, it's dangerous out there in the world," The elder is hardly wrong in his warnings and even though Larry is the magically weakest, he needed some form of protection in case he is to duke it out alone. "I ask this because there is much that you do not know," he continued with a more direct tone. "Being brash will get you in a lot of trouble and would even get you killed if you are not carefully, especially around Camelot. In fact as of recent, there was an incident that your older brother Ludwig was nearly killed by a group of rogues on his way over. Had he not found an ally and additional backup, he would had been killed, but thankfully, he made it out okay and this is why you must have your guard up at all times," Afterwards, he was reminded of what he wanted to say next. "One more thing, before you head out again, I strongly advise you that if you are to go to Camelot, be very careful. The Humans there are not very friendly to non-humans and their guards will be keeping a very close eye out for anybody affiliated with the Koopa Kingdom. If they see you, they will arrest you on the spot without a second thought or do something far worse," Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 As he pointed him to the cavern tunnel nearby, he nodded. However, as Kamek brought up the scepter, he couldn't help but groan. "What, you mean that stupid thing that I stole from the nobles of Grass Land? Course I don't have it with me. Haven't tried summoning it, don't wanna use it. I have of other ways of fighting and protecting myself. For example, there's a move I've practiced, and, have gotten where I can use it in a fight. I may not have Dad's or Ludwig's full fire breath yet-" He smirked right at the old magikoopa. "-But, I've come up with something else~" He looked over at a nearby rock, not too far away from them. He then inhaled a little bit, and, shot out a single spark at the rock. He managed to hit it right on the mark. It looked like it could do some damage, at least. "Oh, and, let me show this version of it~" He inhaled a little bit again, then pointed his muzzle into the air, and spit out a spread of smaller sparks into the air. They didn't look like they could do as much damage as the single shots, but, they could probably still be useful. "And, since I'm pretty good at sports, all I really need for weaponry is a trusty tennis racket or baseball bat. So, relax, spectacle beak." With a cocky smirk on his face, he started heading into the tunnel. As he walked through it, he turned his head to look back at Kamek. "So, uhhhh, the Koopa Kingdom of the Omniverse. Is it just as big as it was back in our old place? Do we still have a whole bunch of minions?" He hoped so. He hoped that the Koopa Kingdom of this world was just as powerful as the old one. He may have not liked his family that much anymore, but, they were still his family, and, he had still grown up in the Koopa Kingdom. It was like the home he'd always find his way back to, sooner or later. However, as he continued on toward where the Koopa Kingdom would be, he remembered what Kamek had said, about Camelot, and them not being all that friendly with the people of the Koopa Kingdom. "Sooooo, uhhhhhh, these Camelot guys. Do they mostly just stay in their world, or what? They don't ever come here, do they?" As he pondered something, he actually frowned. "Ludwig's not actually by himself right now, is he?" Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-05-2015 Kamek knitted a brow, but then again, he had to trust Larry even though he's a bit of a showoff from his display; ah the usual business with the youngest as always. While he caught up to Larry while in the tunnel leading to the subterranean levels of the Steppes, he replied,"Yes and King Bowser is currently trying to expand out to the outsiders, especially when it comes to safeguarding authority of the Koopa Kingdom around the Steppes. After all, you know how everything goes; it's not much different from how everything was from before," He could reassure that. Listening to Larry's curiosity with the instance of Camelot, Kamek continued,"The people of Camelot remain in their own territory and stay in it. We hardly see outsiders from there, however every now and then, there have been reports of Gorons seen around the Death Mountain area from the foot soldiers who are around the outside patrol," Of terms of Ludwig's whereabouts, he continued,"As for Ludwig's return, there was an argument concerning him and the Koopa King after his arrival before I assisted with settling him back in after his return journey. Since then, he has started to act strangely if not vengeful and I believe what happened in Camelot could be a factor in this," He felt concerned for his apprentice, hoping that he would be okay; after all, he's in dangerous territory. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-05-2015 Well, at least it sounded like the Koopa Kingdom still seemed to be in good claws. That was something he could be at least a little bit happy about. His dad's troops would probably all make sure that all of the denizens of the Koopa Kingdom would be well defended. And, hey, maybe he could even help some secure some territory for the kingdom in the Steppes himself. But, then again, he wasn't sure he was quite ready for that yet. Anyway, as heard that the people of Camelot mostly just stayed in their territory, he felt a little bit relieved. However, Kamek also told him by some group named the Gorons. Who the heck was he talking about, anyway? Who were these Goron guys? Well, whoever they were, they probably wouldn't be any match for a whole contingent of Koopa Troopers. Yep, the Kingdom was well-defended indeed. But, then he heard Kamek talking about Ludwig and their dad having some kind of argument, and Ludwig acting weird and vengeful. These Camelot guys must have ruffled his shell a lot more than the Mario brothers had ever ruffled all of theirs'. Larry was actually starting to look a little worried. But, then, he shook his head, and sighed. "Well, it's Ludwig. Even if he's alone, he should be good enough to handle himself out there. After all, he was the Koopa dad was going to name heir. Well, before Junior came around, and made dad totally obsessed with him." He snorted a bit. "I swear, if I ever have kids, not gonna ever name any of them junior." He kept on walking through the tunnel. But, then- "Speaking of juniors, who the heck was Morton the first, anyway?" After all, if there hadn't been a Morton koopa before his brother, then did his dad choose to name him Morton Koopa Junior? Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-06-2015 "That was because Morton Koopa Jr. was named after the former King that was alive long ago," he responded. "He would be the true father to Bowser if someone didn't abandoned the little one back on Yoshi's Island," Kamek was still a bit annoyed at that fact. How could a great King leave his child behind like that? That's not how it was supposed to go. Parents were suppose to look out for their children not abandon them, but then again, had Morton not abandoned the child, Kamek wouldn't be here with the Koopalings and the young Heir years down the road. In fact, his future would be very different. "However, not much is known about the former King since his disappearance long ago. It's still the greatest mystery the Koopa Kingdom has to this day," he replied even though Kamek knew the real deal behind the scenes since he once served the former King long ago before the young Prince Bowser came along. Afterwhile, he looked over to Larry, noticing the recent reaction, and asked,"Larry, is there something bothering you? You seem to be troubled," Kamek knows of how much Larry gets at times, give or take. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-06-2015 Ah, so he was named after his grandfather. He thought he had heard of him before, but, he guessed he hadn't paid that much attention until now. So, their grandfather was Morton Koopa the first, huh? Well, he definitely didn't sound that great of a father, abandoning their father on an island, all alone like that. And, not just any island, but, Yoshi's island! What kind of horrible monster would abandon their son on a place where those mini-dinosaurs were well known for living? They may have both been reptilian species, but, still, the Yoshis weren't exactly know for their fondness toward Koopas. Either he was desperate to get rid of their dad, or, maybe he was trying to toughen him up. That could be it. And, for him, that would make a sort of sense. Old Koopa royalty wasn't exactly known for their thoughtfulness or kindness toward others, even members of their own families. All they really wanted was absolute power, by any means necessary. Infact, he felt like he was starting to slowly go down that path himself. But, he could probably stop himself, right? What he really wanted was to prove himself to both his father, his siblings, and maybe even show others as well that he was no pushover. But, still, power did have a tendency to corrupt. And, while he wasn't sure he would lose any sleep if he tried to go after BJ any time later his life, he might feel at least a little regretful if he did anything too bad to any of the others. But, that was something to worry about in the future, not the present. "Well, from all the bedtime stories we were told, plus all the other stuff we read, the older generation koopas didn't exactly sound that friendly. Wasn't the founder of the Koopa Kingdom, old Kappa Koopa himself, said to have dealt with all seven of his brothers in various, horrible ways? And, didn't he try multiple times to raze all the surrounding kingdoms to the ground?" Kappa Koopa was not the nicest of guys in all those old stories. Usually, the protagonists of those stories were either a Mushroom Kingdom hero, a child of whichever Koopa King was around at that time, or both. And, usually, the hero kid, whether he beat his predecessor, with or without help, or whether he simply inherited the throne after his father was beaten, each Royal Koopa kid, always seemed to live long enough to become the villain for the next story. Part of Larry hoped he never went that far. But, that was another thought for the future. "So, our gramps, Morton the first. Do you know if our brother resembles him a whole lot?" Morton always did look weird to him. Didn't really look much like the rest of him at all, infact. Had their father gotten most of his genes from their grandmother, or something? Must've, if Morton looked so much like their grandfather, that their father had decided to name him after him. Part of him hoped that name didn't carry any sort of negativity in it, though. He may have disliked Morton more than he did Ludwig, but, Morton wasn't a bad guy. He was just a bit weird, that's all. It almost seemed like their father fully expected Morton to be a bad koopa as well. Well, that was a laugh. Their King Dad was never exactly father of the year himself. But, that could've easily been because he had never met his real father. Anyway, part of him was starting to feel annoyed at all this thinking about his family, and, it almost felt like they were taking forever to reach where they were going! "So, are we almost there yet, or what? Seriously, why the heck did dad have to put his new kingdom this far underground?" Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-06-2015 "Safety is a must. There have been instances that we had been attacked by outsiders before you and the rest came along here," he replied before he continued. "..but then again, I figured that you would want to take the shorter route. I can teleport us to the front of the Castle if you are that exhausted to cut down on the distance," Lucky for Larry, the Magikoopa can speed things up for them and they wouldn't have to travel so far. Bringing out his wand, he waved it at Larry, instantaneously teleporting him to the front gates of the huge castle only to be encountered by the two guarding Koopatrols before the Magikoopa made an appearance afterwards. "Oh! You startled us there," said the first Koopatrol as he jumped back before the second one continued,"Lord Kamek, we didn't expect for you to find another one so soon," Kamek replied,"I found him wandering the Steppes, but enough on that, open the gates!" "Yes sir," replied both Koopatrols as they immediately opened up the Gate to allow the duo inside of the Castle right away before Kamek looked to Larry with a smile. "It's good to have you back. Now, only five more of your siblings remain out there and much like Ludwig as well as everyone else, it will be expected of you to help find them when they come. Reunions are becoming more common in the Omniverse, either good or bad, and it'll continue that way as long as Omni is still around," ..well, unless something happens, but he'll see to the situation if a threat pops up. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-06-2015 He narrowed his eyes at the older koopa. He wasn't exhausted, exactly. He was just tired, and bored of walking so much. Although, it wasn't quite as bad as the treks he had to run before, all the way to his father's world. But, anyway, he didn't object to being teleported. As they magically arrived at the castle, they met two of the koopa troopa guards infront of the gate. Apparently, they hadn't expected another Koopaling to show up so soon. Anyway, after they opened they opened gate, Kamek turned toward him, and said something about him being expected to find his other five siblings. He frowned a bit. Couldn't the other five manage to find their way here themselves? They were supposed to be pretty capable, after all. However, the thought of being the one to find any of them, and bring them back to the castle when they couldn't manage it for themselves- Well, that brought a little bit of a grin to his face. "Well, I'm not going to promise to actively search for them, but, if they turn up wherever I am, I guess I could help Wendy, Roy, Lemmy and Morton get to the castle. However-" He narrowed his eyes a bit coldly. "Junior can find his own way here." He was still a bit resentful of the fact that his little brother hadn't given him more, especially when the oldest and youngest were supposed to stick together. "Although, if he pleads long and hard, I might find it in my heart ta give him some directions." And, with that said, he headed into the castle. He looked all around. Wow. This castle looked like it was pretty similar to their old one. He wondered- He pointed a claw at some random Koopa, and bellowed, "TROOPA!" The blue-shelled koopa troopa in question eeped a bit, and turned to look in his direction. "Y-yes, my Lord?" Larry looked at him for a few more seconds, then- "Does this castle have a special gym, like the old one?" The troopa nodded multiple. "Oh, yes, my lord, just like the old one! Better, I'd say, infact!" The blue-haired Koopaling grinned. "Perfect~ Gather all the blue and red shells who are off duty. We're gonna do a red vs blue basketball game, just like in the old days~ Now, what are you waiting for? Get going!" He snapped. "R-right away, sir!" The Troopa ran off, leaving him and Kamek alone again. Turning back to face the Magikoopa, he was all smiles and grins. "Finally, it's been way too long since we had a good basketball game. Ya wanna watch? Me and my team are gonna wipe the floor with them. And, that's something you can definitely count on~" Larry pretty much loved sports. They had helped him keep physically fit, after all, and, there was just something about them that earned them a special fondness from the koopaling. Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-07-2015 "I suppose I could but afterwhile, I have to do one more thing before I return to my other duties. You know how your father is," he replied with a smile. Kamek's had his fair share of experience. However, he would be there to spend sometime with the Koopalings, especially Larry, but he doesn't want to be caught slacking off. Just as much as he finds it annoying with laziness, the King is the same way. "However, remember what I said before about everything we talked about," he reminded. "It's very important of you to heed this advice because we're in unfamiliar territory," It wasn't long before a green-shelled Troopa came around and said,"Lord Kamek, sir, urgent message from Camelot," The Magikoopa looked around and asked,"What is it?" The Troopa continued,"Reports say that Lord Ludwig has been spotted with a woman and a small Koopa child among Camelot's forest last night," Kamek knitted a brow as he asked,"What? What is that pupil of mine's doing with those individuals? Doesn't he know that it's dangerous to be among those people?" "The woman is confirmed to be from Dalaran," he replied. "As for the small Koopa child, it is believed that he's from the Tangled Green," "Dalaran? The floating island near Camelot's capital?" he asked. "How strange but neitherless, risky. Keep a close eye on them, if that woman attempts to report him to the Camelot guard, it could be trouble. He's not strong as he used to be and another attack could be a disaster," "Yes sir," replied the Troopa before he left as Kamek sighed. "I worry about Ludwig's safety; it would had been more wise for him to remain in the Castle until he's truly ready again but your father insisted on him looking for the others," Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-07-2015 Larry sighed, but nodded a bit. "Yeah, he's probably counting on you for a lot of stuff, since you're his chief koopa, and all. Ah, well, at least you can see my awesome skills on the court for a little while~" He was about to head off to the gym, when, suddenly, one of the troopas came up to Kamek, and said something about Ludwig, Camelot, and a couple of people he was with. And, Kamek seemed to know who they were, but, he was completely in the dark. Something was also said about a floating island? Didn't all islands float? Or, did he mean that it was actually floating in the air? Because, in that case, it would make more sense. As the troopa left, Kamek still seemed worried. Larry sighed, and shook his head. "Oh, come on, he's Ludwig. Even if he's not that strong anymore, he still knows how to handle himself doesn't he? And, I doubt he's all that weak, especially not if he met the same guy I did. The weird one, who was all white and humanoid, but didn't really seem to have very many facial features aside from that. He gave me this stuff called 'Omnilium', said I could be anything with it. And, I definitely felt pretty good after he gave it to me. And, who knows how much of it Ludwig's gotten? So, relax. I wouldn't be so jealous of Luddy, if he didn't know how to handle himself in situations like that. Now, I've got a basketball game waiting for me in the gym. You can still come and watch, if you want." And, with that, he ran toward the gym. It didn't take too long to organize the teams, the troopa who gathered them all had found quite a few other troopas for the teams. Larry was leading Blue Team, of course. And, on the other team, the red one, a red-shelled troopa captain. Not as tough as him, but, the captain was no doubt smart, and probably knew some decent tactics, too. But, still, Larry knew he would win in the end, because he was just that good. Once the game started, he started dribbling the ball down to the other end, but, some troopas got in his way. Frowning, he looked for another way, but, there were just so many blocking him. He growled, trying to circle around, sidestep, but, each and every time, one of the opposing troopas managed to get in his way. Finally, he reluctantly ended up passing the ball to one of his teammates, who managed to score a two-point goal. Well, at least this game wasn't off to too bad a start. The important thing was, his team needed to win, even if they actually needed to be a team to do so. About an hour and a half later, the blue and red teams were tied, 50-50. Well, at least they weren't losing. But, still, he wasn't quite satisfied with just a tie. They still had a little bit of time left, and, he was going to use it to utterly win this game for his team. As the next round started, he headed straight for their side. This time, they were an especially good job. He tried to circle around them, try to find some way to get through, but, he just couldn't. And, there wasn't much time left. And, so, not sure what exactly he could do, he jumped. He jumped about thirty feet into the air, infact. He seemed surprised. But, as he started coming down, he aimed for the net, and managed to put in a slamdunk! The buzzer sounded, and, blue team was victorious! He teammates picked him up, and started carrying him, while he started to milk this victory for all it was worth. "Yeah, that's right, we won! Me, my team, we won! I won! Noone can beat Larry C. Koopa at any type of sport! I'd like to see the koopa who'd even really try~!" Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-09-2015 Kamek had watched the basketball game as promised but pity that it took a rather long time to complete; he was getting sort of restless especially when it comes to duties first and fun later policy. However, when it came to Larry, well, the young Koopa wanted to prove himself that he can be the best there is. Actually to be fair, all of them wanted to be that way in different formats..especially for Ludwig. Soon to approach Larry and his team, the elder stated his congratulations to the Koopa and his team before he suggested whenever or not that if Larry wanted to see his room now or later. Of course, that's a good start to get him going on something, well besides on the fact that the news from Camelot has him concerned in a sense, however Ludwig was able to pull through before, but there's nothing wrong with being on alert. Re: Meeting him again - Larry Koopa - 09-13-2015 Larry was still pretty much full grins as Kamek came up and congratulated him. He knew he'd win! And, it was pretty exhilirating to be able to do something like this once again. All the adrenaline pumping through him, the greatness of the game having made him feel ecstatic. He pretty much felt ontop of the world right about now! As Kamek asked him if he wanted to check out his room, he got put down by all the koopas previously carrying him, and grinned. "Do I ever~!" He started following Kamek to his room. He was feeling pretty excited. He wondered if this would just be like his old room, with his collection of mohawk Koopa Rocka posters, and his Super Koopa Troopa action figures. Plus, all that good sporting equipment that just made him feel so alive inside. He was feeling pretty good about seeing his room right now. He headed out of the gym that way with Kamek. He was still imagining all the great things waiting for him back in his room, when he noticed that Kamek still looked a bit concerned about something. Probably about Ludwig still. Geez, was Camelot really that bad? It couldn't have been too bad, could it? After all, even in Mushroom World, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, and her two little brave plumbers, never really went out and purposely tried to destroy all the non-humanoids, and toadoids they could find, right? So, why should this Camelot be all that different? But, then again, he had to remind himself that this wasn't Mushroom world. This was a whole new world, full of whole new stuff, and, he couldn't be sure that these Camelotians weren't really all that brutal. He let out a sigh. "Alright, I guess maybe at somepoint after I leave, I could head toward Camelot, and check to see if Luddy's alright. But, I'm not going to promise that that'll be the first thing I do, alright?" After all, he still wanted to prove himself without his siblings being around. Re: Meeting him again - Lemmy Koopa - 09-16-2015 Kamek nodded and replied,"Remember what I said about them well. You will need to be on your guard," As the duo were going towards the room, the elder reminded,"Iggy is in his room resting easy after his long trip so it would be advised that you keep out until he is awake again. Perhaps you two could go together if he agrees to it," After all, it would be nice to have the brothers watch out for each other. It didn't take that much longer before they arrived at the hallway where the seven different colored doors were and since Larry didn't have his scepter, Kamek had to use his to break the magic seal he placed on the light blue door. Once the doors opened up, it revealed the contents of the Koopaling's room, just as he would well remember with action figures and all. "For now, have a nice rest. You deserve it especially after what you been through," he chuckled before he looked over to Larry with a warm smile. |
