Personality - Demetri Malius - 09-03-2015

So lately I've been wondering, out of curiosity, what everyone's personality is here, according to MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). I figure most of us are introverts, since most extravert's are probably not spending their time online and are actually playing sports or whatever, but still, curious to see what the statistics of this is. Some example tests and info are below.

If you happen to get stuck between two or more types, check out the functions. They are the bases of each type and how they take in information and process it. Keep in mind that you can display more functions than the ones in your personality stack. What your type indicates is which functions you are most comfortable with. Dominant is usually the most preferred, with the auxiliary as your backup. Tertiary functions usually aren't handled until mid-life stuff, in which you start to get the hang of it. Your shadow is your weakness. When you made decision with your last function in your stack, it usually causes you trouble and headaches. Here are some helpful links:

Short and simple- http://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/understanding-mbti-type-dynamics/the-eight-function-attitudes.htm

Much more detailed and descriptive, with stacks for each type- http://understandmyersbriggs.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-8-cognitive-functions.html

A function test, may or may not be helpful - http://similarminds.com/classic_jung.html

My type is INTP, known as the architect, or the thinker. My type is pretty much the ones spending all their time in their head, thinking about impractical creations and solutions to everything we see. If I can say one thing about how it feels to be INTP,it would be that to us, EVERYTHING is treated an experiment, even ourselves and others, to figure out the why in life.

Personalities so farSadx is uncertain)

Thaal: EnxP
Tartaros: IxTP
Zangetsu: ISTP/ ISxx? (some low preferences here)
Vincent: INFJ?
Toori: ISTJ
Yu: ESFJ
Orion: INTJ/IxxJ?(some low preferences here)
Emerald: INTP

Re: Personality - Thaal Sinestro - 09-03-2015

I get EN_P, where "_" means that I score middle of the line on that score. Feeling and Thinking both com pretty naturally to me haha

Re: Personality - Tartaros - 09-03-2015

I seem to alter between INTP and ISTP during times when I've taken the test, so I suppose you could pin me down as I_TP. Seems legit, it's a rather interesting indicator.

Re: Personality - Xehanort - 09-03-2015

ISTP for me

Quote:ISTP
Introvert(22%) Sensing(9%) Thinking(3%) Perceiving(3%)
You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (22%)
You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (9%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (3%)
You have marginal or no preference of Perceiving over Judging (3%)

meh

Re: Personality - Kenpachi Zaraki - 09-03-2015

INFJ
Introvert(50%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(6%) Judging(10%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (50%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (6%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (10%)

Not sure I agree with most of this, it tends to change every time I take these. I'd definitely agree with the Introvert part, though.

Re: Personality - Demetri Malius - 09-03-2015

Yeah, sometimes you will borderline between two types, in which(if you're interested) you can look more in depth at the two, then figure out which one best fits you. If that doesn't work, you look at the functions, which I'll put up later. Most people will be able to do all of them, your type doesn't restrict you to certain things, it just outlines your preferences. I'll put some links for function stuff once I get home.

Re: Personality - Reece - 09-03-2015

The tests say ISTJ for me, though I'm not sure how accurate that is, given that I'm fairly certain that more than a few of my answers were conflicting.
They did definitely get the "introverted" part right, at least.

Re: Personality - Yu Kanda - 09-04-2015

ESFJ

Extravert(31%)  Sensing(16%) Feeling(25%)  Judging(12%)

You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (31%)You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (16%)You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (12%)

Re: Personality - Illidan Stormrage - 09-04-2015

INTJ here. Apparently I'm pretty on the fence with most stuff except extroversion?

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (16%)
You have marginal or no preference of Intuition over Sensing (3%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (3%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

Your Type Preferences
Introvert(16%) iNtuitive(3%) Thinking(3%) Judging(22%)

Because you appear to have marginal or no (3%) preference of Intuition over Sensing, marginal or no (3%) preference of Thinking over Feeling, characteristics of more than one personality type may apply to you:
INTJ, ISTJ, INFJ and ISFJ.

Re: Personality - Demetri Malius - 09-04-2015

Wow, a lot more split personalities than I thought. You guys are complicated Tongue I just updated the first post with function stuff, so if you're interested, check up into that. If you're even more interested, check up on a few other sites(that's what i've done for mine) that explain more about it. At the tip of the iceberg it may seem like any other personality thing like "what movie character are you" or "what color matches your personality" but theres a lot more information, and you can find out a lot about yourself and weakness that you can improve on, as well as what you're really good at. Then again, being in the same type group doesnt mean every person with your type is the same(although very similar in most cases), you can check out enneagram for more on that, but im not gonna link it, as i dont know enough about it.

Edit: Also, forgot to mention, if you're really interested about your type and want to get a bunch of information about it, send me a pm and I'll help you out.

Re: Personality - The Dreamer - 09-05-2015

INTP over here. actually describes me quite well.

Re: Personality - Athena Myaló - 09-12-2015

INTJ, as usual (I've taken this a few times before). ||3

80% I over E (No surprise there. :p)
40% N over S
20% T over F (That used to be much higher... wonder what's up with that? Maybe it's because I took a different version this time.)
35% J over P

According to the description, female INTJs are only .8% of the population... huh.

RE: Personality - Jade Harley - 02-07-2017

Just remembered this thread, lol!

INTJ. Introvert (72%), iNtuitive (69%), Thinking (28%), Judging (50%).

RE: Personality - Yukki Kazuto - 02-07-2017

INTP

59% Introverted
52% Intuitive
67% Thinking
63% Prospecting
62% Turbulent

RE: Personality - Tearen Wover - 02-07-2017

INFP, full stop

RE: Personality - Ezrihel - 02-07-2017

INTJ-A. This is why I'm so blunt, forward and unforgiving on several fronts. INTJ's are based solely in efficiently solving problems, we are not emotional, and we are quite bad at giving emotional support. I'm much more likely to give you plans and logical solutions to your broken heart than let you cry on my shoulder, and when that's not an option we feel real awkward and uncomfortable. I very rarely take other people's emotions into account when making decisions.

Introverted (95%)
Intuitive (60%)
Thinking (95%)
Judging (70%)
Assertive (90%)

RE: Personality - Kaylee - 02-07-2017

(INFP-T) Mediator

76% Introverted
81% Intuitive
80% Feeling
57% Prospecting
61% Turbulent

RE: Personality - Victor Wolfe - 02-07-2017

We have talked about this before but as a person I am an ENTP, very similer to Deme , but far more argumentative. If I am debating with you its probably not that I do not like you but more me just wanting to know more about your oppinions on things. Victor the character is an ENTJ.

RE: Personality - Marisa Kirisame - 02-07-2017

I be INTP-T or the logician but parts of the debater is a part of me also as I love to rip to shred any argument into bits. it also does not help that my ADD makes my mind like a person flipping a TV's channels. so I'm fairly forgetful and will sometimes even disregard a piece of work if I don't think its worth my time.
82% introvert
70% intuitive
92% thinking
82% prospecting
60% turbulent

RE: Personality - Alex - 02-07-2017

From the 16personalities website:

Commander (ENTJ-A)

69% Extroverted
67% Intuitive
59% Thinking
67% Judging
82% Observant

I feel like that's fairly accurate. While I can be pretty reserved with family and close friends, out in public I'm a pretty heavy extrovert due to the nature of the jobs I've had. You can't be an introverted bartender or an introvert inner-city teacher. Good luck with that.
