PSA - It's a Police State - Proto Man - 09-01-2015
Hi there, Proto Alex here, bringing you a wonderful public service announcement about Coruscant.
Did you know that Coruscant is ruled with an iron fist by the Emperor? Did you know that they employ a vast and excessive amount of wire-tapping, secret surveillance, and are well within their limitless authority to arrest or shoot anyone they feel like?!
Yea, really intense stuff. Especially on that first tier, where their leader and police force have their headquarters. It's almost as if people should genuinely watch their backs while they're walking around if they intend to do anything even remotely seditious or against the law, even if it's a law the Empire just invented on the spot!
I'd really hate to see primes get arrested/banished/murder-killed by hordes of space marines or Judge Dredd (who loves to do beat patrols on Tier 1) for attempting to steal things or otherwise disturb the image of Utopian society that the Empire is trying to display to the rest of the Omniverse on Tier 1.
Oh gee, that'd be terrible. I hope people watch what they're doing, so they don't get visited by the authorities!
Edit - Man, I'd also hate to think I could avoid the biggest police state in the Omniverse by hiding inside of it, rather than running the hell away.

I now have a greater fear understanding of how Crouscant works, thank you for that.
But I just want to make sure I've got the right idea here, if someone starts rampaging in the upper tiers of Crouscant with no consequences written by them, will a staff member interfere and rp as Judge Dredd?

So what you are saying is it was a very good thing I just insulted a Trooper in the Nexus and didn't actually attack. I think jail sounds unpleasant. Also remind me to never go to Coruscant. Ever. I would be either arrested or very dead within minutes.
