Alt Time!: Specter - Lemmy Koopa - 08-30-2015 Character name: Specter Character source: Ape Escape Character history: Specter, who is self-proclaimed as “the strongest of all monkeys”, was once the star of the Ape Misbehavin’ Magic Show in Monkey Park; he was formerly an innocent albino monkey that performed for the crowds of people. However, one day that all changed when he came in contact of a beta Peak Point Helmet. Curious, the albino thought to put it on and as a result, the power of the helmet turned him into the leader and the menace he is by gathering an army of monkeys and threatening the Humans at every chance possible. The abilities that the helmet gave him brought out unusually high levels of intelligence and superior psychic powers. His ambitions of perfecting his powers as well as creating dastardly plans has grown over the years after being taken down by Spike, Jimmy and Pipotchi and the twins, Kei and Yumi respectively. However, when he’s down, he’s not out. He always manages to come back into the scene again even after he has been defeated the first time, indicating that he’s hellbent on reaching his goal. As of recent, before he was about to launch another attack against the Humans for revenge, an unfamiliar phenomena occurred one day during the scenario that has warped him away from his reality, resulting in him being in the Omniverse. Physical Description: Simply put, Specter is an albino monkey that is rather short, standing at four foot, one inch and weights about sixty-one point seven points. Since he is an albino monkey he has white hair, pale skin and red eyes. His hair is spiked and usually has blue coloring at the very tips of each spike, with a tuft of fur covering one of his eyes usually (the left one to be exact). Currently, he wears a red cape with black leather boots and a white belt with decals on it followed with an alternate colored helmet. Stats: ATK: 3 DEF: 2 SPD: 2 TEC: 3 Starting Proficiencies: Remote Control (600), Range Materialize (600), Ranged (1000), Homing (600), Area Attack (600) OM Spent: 3,400OM Starting Powers: Telekinesis/Basic (400), Master Acrobat (400) OM Spent: 800OM Starting Moves: Psychic Spear (300) (Requires Homing, Remote Control, Ranged, Range Materialize, Area Attack): Specter charges up his attack for a window of several (3-5) seconds, creating four orbs of energy around him before he launches them over, homing into a single target. Recharging requires additional time (about 5-7 seconds) before a new set is available. Psychic Blast (300) (Requires Area Attack): Specter charges up his attack for a window of (3-5) seconds before he creates a fantastic blast of psychic energy that goes outside the usual attack range (splash damage); effective for multiple targets on field. Total OM Spent: 4,800OM I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Re: Alt Time!: Specter - Omni - 08-30-2015 As you've made those moves variable, are you sure you don't want to increase the variability (charge time/energy input) to a greater degree since it's going to cost 600 anyway? The first move would only require ranged and homing. I need projectile speed on the first attack and rough area of effect on the second. Is it around himself? What radius? Re: Alt Time!: Specter - Lemmy Koopa - 08-30-2015 As for the chargeup for the first attack, it would get steadily bigger before it's sent over. To add, projectile speed would be fast-moving on the first attack and for the second attack, it's only around himself before it spreads out afterwards. For additional OM to cover it, I did ask that half the OM would help out with the alt so his attack would be possible. If you wanna just give them a static charge time (about 4 seconds) that's fine. Re: Alt Time!: Specter - Lemmy Koopa - 08-30-2015 The first attack, I can see why it would be 600, but looking again for the second move, the attack takes time for him to charge up before it explodes out and affect the field, that's why I did that. Re: Alt Time!: Specter - Mickey Mouse - 08-30-2015 Both of them would only be variable if you could charge them to different degrees. Say, you charge for 3 seconds, it's *this* powerful. You charge for four, it's *that* powerful, and so on. That's what Omni means by variable. If you just charge for four seconds and shoot every time, that's not variable and both of them would only be 300. So you're free to decide which you wanna do, just lemme know. As you've noted, you can't afford to make both of them variable. EDIT: Also, can you edit the projectile speed into the description for the first attack and give me a little more insight on what "fast moving" means? Re: Alt Time!: Specter - Lemmy Koopa - 08-30-2015 For the second attack, I can see it as a 300 OM basis because Specter is basically blowing up the surrounding area with his prowess, nothing more. Simple, sweet and to the point. As for the first attack, I can see it as variable because his prowess forms spears around him, gets more powerful and shoots off before he charges for a new set which takes time. Does "fast moving" mean like a bullet, or something else? Also, can he shoot them one at a time or is it all-or-nothing? Edit that stuff into the move descriptions in your original post, or post new move descriptions here, and I'll take a look at it and get you all set up. Looking good, buddy! You're gonna have to give up something if you want the 600 OM move 'cause right now your totals stand at 5100 OM and you only have 5000 to spend.
