Grobdum is a character who literally weaves magic from mania. He's a character who's entire life purpose is to wildly struggle, to MAKE WAR. Conflict, struggle, rage and fear are almost everything that this character understands.
This means that he will either be very good at coping, because he simply doesn't understand sadness enough to give in to it, or very shitty at coping because he has no defenses against himself when sorrow starts to carve out the core of his being.
In any case, he will be unable to use magic unless the group at large rallies and urges themselves towards their goal, and whether it be the tiny goblin himself or another, there will likely be a "we can do this, RALLY!" moment in one of my posts.

Also, to use an item, just mention it, and post in quotes at the bottom "This item, used."

In your posts, for the time skip, some cool memories can be created! Get inventive, work with friends, nothing is against the rules well, with permission. These "time skip / flashbacks" will be hidden under spoilers.

Before I begin writing my post, I'd like to share an idea I have with all the other participants.
I was thinking that, during the time skip, our characters have essentially established a makeshift town on a hill or some other defensible location. While I imagine pretty much everyone would have been involved with scavenging/hunting/patrolling the area (as well as with forming search parties that went to look up potential leads regarding the gate's location), there probably would have also been a few individuals with more specialised roles. For example, Christa might have been the major (with Abner as her second-in-command), Rictoffen the town doctor, Top Man the resident technician/announcer/entertainer etc. Do you like that idea or would you prefer that we have just kept moving around collectively?
Anyway, in terms of personal connections, I'd like to use this opportunity to establish a closer bond between Lyra and Raw Onion. Guu, if you're interested, it would be good if we used the first chance we get to talk and coordinate our efforts. As for the others, I'm not sure who Lyra would potentially connect with, though she would probably remain close pals with the rest of the group she was with.

Sounds solid to me. If everyone else--or majority--agree with your idea then I can definitely include that into my post.
Also, I'm working on a post now.
I plan to post a few times in this saga, to cover everything I need to, and to be able to adjust accordingly to "curve-balls"

I'm down! I really like the Idea. I know this might be a long shot, but what if our camp is actually in the swamp of sadness. Like you know, we make it there and whatnot, find a good little clearing of dried land, and set up there? And then from there you know, we begin to experience the effects of the swamp? I know it's not a perfect Idea, but just curious if maybe it's a decent idea.
