Police Faction Interest Thread: Interpol/SHIELD/Non-Military Overwatch/LEPRecon e.t.c - Carmelita - 08-09-2016
Inspector Carmelita Fox is looking to assemble a supranational policing unit. She's looking for secondaries and primes who are willing to put the good of the people above political influence, and are willing to deal with legalities and information gathering to do so.
She's not against hiring someone with a checkered past, though naturally you'd need to prove your worth. She's also not against joining forces with other people of similar mandates, folding the groups into one.
This is NOT the Avengers. This faction would be for footsloggers and case files, as well as long term investments in schemes to counteract problems such as the corruption in Coruscant or the environmental problems in the Endless Dunes. Most of the action will be the deployment of an IRT (Incident Response Team) to handle sting operations, anti-terrorism and so on.
Criminal oriented factions will obviously preclude membership. The Coruscant Rebels are a special case, depending on how militant you are.
If you are part of a policing faction (EPD, Canterlot Guard, TWNN sheriffs, Imperial Navy e.t.c) you will need to be seconded by your superiors IC.
It is likely that the faction will have a bumpy relationship with certain nations, given the faction wants to fix problems such as corruption, poverty and nepotism, which influential people in those factions support.
This post is for discovering both Prime interest and interest in providing a secondary or secondary prime from your canon material. For example, I am interested in Karrin Murphy (Dresden Files), and intend to ask Harry Dresden if he's happy for her to staff the Pale Moors base at some point.

This requires:
A full-time contact network across the Omniverse
Rapid identification of crimes and criminals
A secure, comprehensive police information system and database

Cool dos. The faction will probably have the Avengers on speed dial, like SHIELD does, so there's no reason you couldn't be the equivalent of Black Widow/Hawkeye and be 'seconded' to the agency from the Avengers.

I'm confirming it. While Judy will be a little late due to the existing plot (Disappeared), she'll certainly be a part of this. She'll be the Hawkeye. As in, be a part of this, and the Avengers.
