Roleplay with Greg (Samus/Enel) - Omni - 08-13-2015
At the time of posting, I am currently looking for new people to role-play with. Check the latest replies for the most up-to-date information. Here is my role-playing etiquette:
When I feel like posting, I post. When the person I'm with feels like posting, they post. They can control my character and I can control theirs. This way when you're really feeling it you don't have to wait on someone else, and you don't feel like you're getting harangued to post when you really don't feel like it. Obviously it's great when you're on a vibe with someone(s) and bouncing off each other, but in the real world it doesn't always work out like that. I'm often busy with staff work and that has to take priority, so someone who is pretty laid back but still active would be good.
Of course, if someone drops out for absolutely months then eventually I'm going to cut them out of my thread. This is more for a week-to-week thing.
I also think it's good to communicate with people to make sure you aren't jacking up their character. If you're not sure about the way one of my characters would act, I'd rather you Skype me. I greatly enjoy the planning aspects of story and bouncing off someone else's ideas, so if you find that fun, that's also a good thing.
Information on my characters:
Samus is basically what you'd expect. Strong, Silent. Strong sense of justice and absolutely unforgiving of the morally corrupt - pirates, slavers and the like. She is slow to trust but those who she comes to trust she trusts absolutely. She would mesh well with any other good characters, for anyone neutral or bad, expect a lot of friction. Enel is a murderous lightning-powered sociopath who literally believes he is the one true God. Any partnerships with him are likely to be extremely unstable due to his extremely fricative personality, and thus anyone joining me might want to consider being a rival or taking on the role of one of my NPCs (I have one who I'm going to feature in my dunes story). Honestly, I think Matrix might be an interesting partner and thats the quest I'd like to take him on....but Ive got him wrapped up with the Cinnabar quest at the moment.
If I can wrap up this quest and you havent made it too far or found anyone else...ill get back to you.

Oh, I didn't respond because I have quite a while to make a decision on who I should roll out with. Though Enel'd be a good candidate by virtue of actually knowing anything about the Dunes. On the other hand, ego and god complex, though I know nothing about One Piece so I dunno if he has Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
Though I'll still not be going for the quest for a whiiiiiile now, so if you're not planning to wait months for me to roll up in a limo and gun down everybody mafia-style arrive in Egoland, probably better to go with someone else. Especially since I'm judging who I'll go with based on IC-impressions rather than writing abilities, and I'd assume most IC good characters would be significantly less likely to stab you in the back than the guy who kicks puppies. Or whatever Enel does.

I decided to add some basic information about the characters.

Samus is currently in Camelot earning the trust of the kingdom, and Enel is currently in the dunes searching for the void gate to find Omni.

My vague long-term plan is to go to the Dataverse/File Island and get Commandramon as an assist.

Would anyone be interested in playing a futuristic female Paladin with fire powers in my Enel story? Her whole thing is that she burns people to death with blue flames that do not produce pain, only numbness.

Blues' sister is doing that already, so he'd join Samus if she went there.
I can't vouch for Mickey, but I wouldn't see why he wouldn't want to.
