An unavoidable destiny - Todd Ingram - 07-26-2015 Bright sunlight forced Eric to close his eyes. A moment ago he was in a white room entering a portal and the next he fell a fresh breeze grazing his cheek as he attempts to pry his eyes open. Holding his hand towards the source of the bright light he can finally let his pupils adjust to place the portal brought him. This was not what he expected. A wide green field of grass and trees surround him, the bluest sky above him and the fresh air that fills his lungs is unrivaled. For just a single moment his mind was clear of questions, he felt at peace. It didn't last for long as reality cannot be forgotten. He was still in a strange world with allot of questions he didn't have the answers to. In the distance he noticed a town, but it wasn't a town he was used to. The architecture was old, even for his taste. The road leading up to the town was nothing but a hardened dirt road. Along the road there was a man pulling forth a cart, the cart was filled with baskets and cloth, seemingly a merchant. Everything looked so ordinary and peaceful. Peace, a word he hadn't spoken for so long he almost forgot it's meaning. Another deep breath fills his lungs as he is planning his next move. ' I can't lose focus now, this might as well be another trick. Before anything else I will need information. But... I cannot walk around looking like this, I stand out too much to properly gather the intelligence I require. Let us fix that problem first' Eric used his newly found gift and created some clothing which he thought would be suitable. A dark brown ragged looking coat op top of a slightly lighter brown pants covered his slightly unusual outfit. He wanted to look like the merchant he saw a moment ago, but not too wealthy. The cowl got pulled up and covered his grey hair and part of his face. Best for now no one recognizes him. He turned around as, looked at the gate one more time as if he tried to remember it and then started walking towards the only road he could see. Following the road Eric took in the surroundings, taking in as much detail as he could. But what a strange place this was indeed. Creatures he never seen before flew over his head as they made noises that were strange to his ears. All of this unknowing made him uncomfortable and he picked up the pace. It didn't take him long before he noticed a single farm like house near the road. It didn't look like much but there must be people living there. Approaching the house at a slow pace but he kept his guard up. One can never know what to expect behind closed doors, especially in a place like this. He finally reached the front door and knocked twice. 'Hello ? Is there anyone here ?' It stayed quiet inside. Two more knocks followed but this time a bit louder, but again he got no answer. After having no luck at the door Eric went to one of the windows to take a look inside. Inside he didn't see anything special nor suspicious, A table with a couple of chairs, a fireplace, some pots and pans in the kitchen, it seemed all fairly simple and plain. But as he suspected there was no one inside. It was no use to stay here, perhaps he should continue on to the town, and he turned around towards where he came from. 'Hello mister, who are you ? are you looking for father ?' In front of Eric there was a young boy with a couple of logs in his arms looking at the hooded man with an innocent look on his face. Eric clears his throat before speaking ' Hello there young man, actually I do not know your father, I'm a traveler and I recently arrived here. I just came to see if someone lived here' ' Oh a traveler ! Where do you come from ? did you travel through the gate ? what verses have you visited ? Are you a Prime ?' The boy asked many questions Eric did not know the answer to, hell he didn't even know what half the questions meant. 'You ask many questions for such a young age, wouldn't you first offer a weary traveler a beverage and some shelter ?' The warmth his tone of voice brought made the young man feel comfortable enough to open up his father's house to the stranger. ' Of course Sir, please come in. I'm sure my father will return shortly. We don't have much to offer but would you like a drink ?' The boy was very polite towards Eric and for a moment he saw a bit of Pietro, his own son, in his underage host. 'I would love a drink' The visitor said as he sat down, he was observing the home he was invited into. It did not look like much, some wooden furniture, a fireplace, a few windows but no technology he was used to. Has he gone back in time he wondered. ' So...what's your name ?' He casually asks as he accepts a cup filled with water from the boy. ' My name is Ley , what's your name sir ?' he quickly responded. 'Pleased to meet you Ley. You can call me Eric. So tell me Ley, where are we ? what is this place called ?' 'You are in Camelot Si-...Eric. Under the protection and ruled by the mighty Prime King Aragorn.' 'Camelot you say ?' The older man sounded sincerely surprised. Camelot was a place of ancient stories, or so he thought. But according to his half vanished memories it was ruled by King Arthur. ' Well I didn't expect to arrive in a place like Camelot. Ruled by the mighty prime king Aragorn, this might sound like a strange question but, what is a prime exactly ?' Ley stopped what he was doing for a moment and turned to the stranger, looking at him as if he was an idiot. ' What is a Prime ? Primes are summoned here by the great Omni himself, they were chosen to live here forever in the Omniverse and have great powers given to them by Omni. He allows them to use Omnilium to create things and even summon people like myself. We are known in the Omniverse as secondary's. Unlike secondary's, primes will always come back after they die. Even the bad ones. Not all of them are bad though, king Aragorn is a great prime and protects us and everyone in his lands. He has done for as long as I can remember.' They boy kept rambling on about how he admired primes and how great they were, wishing he was one himself. The words the boy spoke reached Eric's ears perfectly, things started to become clear. 'I was chosen.....Magneto, leader of the brotherhood of mutants was chosen to be a prime in this universe. But why would a creature like Omni bring me here, to what purpose ?' Magneto thoughts were wondering. His thoughts were interrupted by a door slamming open behind him. It startled him for a second and he turned his head. In the doorpost there was a large man, he had a full dark beard and a scar over his right eye, his clothes showing wet spots, possibly caused by sweat, carrying an axe which was leaning on his shoulder. He did not look happy when he saw a stranger sitting at his table. ' Who are you ? What are you doing in my house ?' The bearded man asked with a deep and unfriendly tone of voice. Ley turned around and ran towards him, seemingly happy to see him 'Welcome home father, we have a visitor. He is new here, a traveler. I think he might even be a prime! Isn't that exciting father ?'. Again the enthusiasm of the boy took the better of him, but his father did not seem to happy about it, his eyes were focused on Eric sitting in his house, ignoring his son's words. Or so it seems. 'I think its best you leave now stranger.' Was the only response he gave. Ley seemed disappointed by these words and looked at Eric with some sadness in his eyes. It was obvious he felt let down by his father's words. Eric got up slowly, emptied his cup and started walking towards the pair. His blue eyes locked with the bearded man's. 'You should be wise to mind your tone against strangers, especially when they are guest in your own home.' He then passed the house's owner, but as he passed he heard the following dreaded words he has heard many times before. 'We don't want your kind here' The deep voice said. Eric stopped within the doorpost and turned his head. 'What did you say?' His voice sounded threatening, calm with a hint of anger.' Choose your next words very carefully Human' The father lifted his axe from his shoulder in a threatening way . ' You heard me, leave this place. We don't want anything to do with you primes. Thinking you can do whatever you want. Best you go on your way' His left hand grabbed Ley by the shoulder, guiding the young man behind his back. He didn't pay enough attention and used more force then he needed, Lay tripped and fell on his back. Without thinking Eric took a step forward as he saw the boy fall. This single step was must have come across hostile as he saw the axe swing over the bearded man's head towards Eric with full force. Within a blink of an eye Magneto created a strong barrier around him deflecting the axe straight backwards. The man got knocked back by the sheer force of the deflection and lost his balance. 'You insignificant insect !' Magneto shouted fiercely. Dropping his shield and lifting his right hand in the air. His eyes were burning with anger and he let out a strong shout when suddenly a metal lance was created above his right hand. 'You humans always with your violence, I've had enough of your kind.' The metal lance shot towards Magneto's assailant, barely missing him as he rolled to his right in order to dodge the weapon. Eric's rage filled expression suddenly disappeared when in front of him he saw his lance pierced through Ley's stomach right into the wooden floor. The pool of blood quickly spreading around the young boy as he looked Eric straight into his eyes. The wounded boy's eyes were tearing up and were screaming agonizing pain, yet not a single scream left the boy's lips. He just lay there in awe, bleeding , holding on to the lance. 'NOOO! Ley ! Ley look at me...stay with me !' The father crawled to his dying son holding his seemingly small head in his much larger hands. Tears were flowing from his eyes as all he could do is try to comfort his son's last moments. It wasn't long before he felt the small head slowly leaning back and the fight for survival was over. His eyes showed no more signs of life, it was now an empty shell. The lance disappeared and the man held his son close, the shouts he let out were filled with pain and disbelieve. He looked towards the door, knowing where the man responsible for his son's death was standing, yet the doorpost was empty. Magneto walked away from the house, behind him he heard nothing but screams. His face however did not show any kind of compassion or other emotion. He looked like a man that had a clear goal and purpose in his mind. 'Now I know. Now I know why Omni brought me here. It doesn't matter which world, it's the same everywhere. Primes are like Mutants, they are superior. Primes are destined to rule this world. These secondary's can choose to serve, or die'. Leaving the house behind him Magneto walked towards the town. Xavier's Camelot - Gildarts - 07-31-2015 Pale brown eyes slowly slid to his left, his mind sinking into the fresh feeling of spiked chills and sharpened needles. Dark and foreboding, with the allure of a haunting madness, the mutant sought to greet its source, yet as his eyes touched upon it just above his shoulder, all that remained of the prickling presence he had once felt, was but simple air. The sense stayed with him like a filmy coating on the room. Devastation, destruction, and death; he rarely misread the signals. A gentle analyzing gaze swept over the room and grazed for a moment on the cobblestone lining the walls. Mighty and tall silhouettes had gathered around a circular table made of rich burgundy wood. Utterance of justice and postponed malice, the mutterings of peace and war, and the sorrows of a lost land all broke the never-silence that consumed the distant room. This was an important meeting; the leaders among him were discussing fate like some sort of romantic and chivalrous honor, as though it were only ever intended to be seized. The Kingdom, the Omniverse, and words of an uprising came and passed, fleeting as fragrance on summer wind. The well-known individual to his left noticed the subtle stir in his own calm demeanor, a man he had, in time, come to know. Few words on the knight’s mind needed to be spoken and the respect they had for one another was one shared. Following the Professor’s discerning shift was a small exchange in a low, charismatic voice that released Charles from his compelled place at the table. And carefully, his eyes revolved around the room once more before he set motion to his wheels. Streams of time breached the vague current of veiled thought and swirled around him, while he was, at the same time, cast aside by the bumpy path that his dented utility had grown too used to. Obscured and sharpened rocks had jolted him along the way. Castles - or towers, for that matter - provided an excellent perch from above, and the world grew ever clearer as he rolled up the gentle incline to the ramparts. After a brief pause, he took in the scent of the distant earthy breeze and witnessed the vibrant life of primitive Camelot; his searching eyes tensed as he reached out to grasp the source of the darkness that had come to fall. Cerebro. The straps hitching him in, the whisking sounds of whirling wisps paired with every mutant interaction. While the Professor did not have that here, the same disadvantage had given him the opportunity to hone his skill even more. He closed his eyes and opened his mind. Finally, he was awake. The jumbled sighs of man howled for miles, clear as sun’s rays under the soft blue skies filled with velvet wind. Suddenly, however, the Professor felt a heavy cloud blanket the grassy land, enveloping his true senses with the shrill throes of impending destruction. His eyes wavered with a sharp cringe yet he faced the same direction with his gaze closed as the the target's clarity grew with every resounding action, like ripples in a puddle. Almost as subtly as wind, a soul breathed its last and a sense of mournful weeping gusted with the trees. In the town, eyes of the citizens turned toward the masked man, all prying, shooting poisonous daggers, or flaunting snarling sneers. A few turned their heads robotically, as though their motor functions were heeded by curt movements under their restricting skin. Venomous eyes, suddenly vacant were filled once more as his mind reached out to them. It wasn’t uncommon for the Professor to sense a threatening prime and warn the lost dweller to cease violence. All from obscure worlds, set together by the figure cloaked in white. Primes were confused, disoriented, like so many mutants he had met and helping just one gave him hope for a better future. The Professor could not see who had done the killing, it was almost as though the citizens were blind, however the gushing wavelength of grief had washed over a single man, and Xavier could feel the weight of a child in his arms grow accompanied with a sorrow that weighed heavier than the world on Atlas's shoulders. The same words gelled together, propelling from their lips not in unison, but one after the other like the cascading fall of a domino. The vague words sounded familiar. “Stop this at once.” Re: An unavoidable destiny - Todd Ingram - 08-07-2015 Walking at a steady pace Erik reaches the city. Making sure his face wasn't easily recognized he arranged the cloth in order to cover up most of his face. A dark shadow made it difficult to make out his face. Erik's pace slowed down as he neared the gate, there were two guards standing at the city gates. He would only arouse suspicion if he walked into the town like this. 'Pardon me. Would you mind stepping aside please, sir?' A heavy voice said behind him. Looking over his shoulder he saw another merchant with a cart filled with goods to sell. 'Of course' He stepped off the path and made room for the much larger cart. As the vehicle passed he followed it heading towards the gate. Just a little bit further before he reached the gate, placing both of his hands on the back of the cart he pretended to assist the cart. Both the guards didn't seem to offer the merchant and himself a second glance. They probably see salesmen enter and leave the city on a regular basis. Once inside he parted ways with his unsuspected accomplice and started to roam the town. If he learned one thing over the years its best to gather intelligence at a place people are willing to share. And where do people share more then what's good for them . His face showed a small grin as he stood in front of a tavern. 'Perfect'. He entered the building and found his way to an empty chair in the darkest corner he could spot, sat down but did not order yet. His eyes scanned his surroundings and got comfortable in the chair. It was midday so not many were drowning themselves in the beverages offered by the establishment. Near him there was a middle-aged man complaining about the misses, his conversation partner did not have anything better to say. All he could do is complain about his wife's horrible cooking. 'Insignificant worms, is that what they are whining about. They are waste of space and existence' He couldn't listen to another minute if their wailing and redirected his attention to a younger blonde haired man that was having a conversation with the female bartender. He was obviously overdressed to impress her. ' These meaningless petty concerns are beneath me, I've made a mistake coming here for information' Erik was about to get up when he heard a commotion outside. 'It was a prime, a prime took him from this world!' The yelling, screaming and commotion grew larger until he could hear an entire mob gathering near the tavern outside. A young boy stood in the door opening quickly bringing word of the news 'There has been a murder, a Prime murdered a child' As quickly as the boy appeared, he vanished back outside just as quick. The people within the tavern didn't hesitate long before getting up and going outside to see what was going on. Erik stayed seated until they got out before getting up himself. He made sure his clothes were covering enough of his face and outfit and walked out the door. 'Not all primes are bad, justice will be served to this murderer. We will find him and hold him accountable for his actions' A different voice shouted to answer the initial angry voice. The mob seemed to be in agreement to this. Erik wasn't going to stick around here to see where this scene would lead. At a normal pace he finds a way through the mob, accidentally bumped into one of the rioters but he kept up the momentum. The man turned around and suspiciously followed Erik's movement through the crowd. Poking the man next to him and pointing towards the covered up escapee. But it wasn't the eyes of some strangers that was bothering him, there was something else, another presence that was making him feel uneasy. A presence he hasn't felt in a long while. Erik got clear of the crowd and it wasn't long before behind him someone called him out. 'Hey ! You there ! Hold up' Glancing over his shoulder he saw two man coming his way. Erik didn't see a good outcome if he engaged the duo in conversation and decided to keep walking. They didn't seem to agree with this decision and they stepped up the pace to stop him. 'I said hold up' One of them men placed his hand on Erik's shoulder. 'Remove your hand' The mutant responded to this action with a threatening yet low voice. ' Now hold up stranger, we cannot simply let you walk away from something like this. For all we know you are the murderous prime' 'And you think confronting a stranger like this is a smart idea ? Your primal like intelligence keeps surprising me. I suggest you let me be. I won't say it again you filth.' Breaking his shoulder loose from the grip he continued to walk towards an alleyway, hoping he could either catch his breath or handle this little problem without causing too much commotion. Yet something is still not right, what was this feeling that Erik just could not shake? Re: An unavoidable destiny - Gildarts - 08-10-2015 Charles heard the unmistakable voice as though it haunted him from his past. Eric, from all those days ago. He expected today would come, call it a fated "destiny," or a hopeful guess. The optimistic Charles took but a moment to breathe. It all felt a world away, now that so much time had passed and fresh memories had been engraved to his mind. The mutant's experience in the Omniverse did little to widen the nostalgic distance between he and the man he spoke with, albeit through a normal human's mouth. The urgency collided with the telepathic's thoughts with the vivid slam of an oncoming train. It wasn't irrational to assume that Magneto could have been swiped from any time of his not-so-humbled past. Even his most vulnerable time. The Professor made haste, and quickly, his response to the situation was made swift as its purpose had escalated in priority. Not only did he confirm he was speaking to Magneto, but there had been a death – no, a murder – and the morality driven Charles needed to prevent any more spilling of blood. Malice coated Magneto's presence, it emanated even from the great land sprawling between them. Xavier followed this strong emotion as he set forth his best plan of action and readied the fastest transportation he could get his hands on. His mind however, stayed in that very room with his old friend, as the mutant grew near, the 'connection' much like that of a telephone, became much more clear. The blurring around the edges of his sight cleared, the static Xavier heard in the citizen's ears cleared, and Magneto's powerful presence was thick, tainting the air with the heavy shackles of a static charge. Xavier drew closer, but it seemed too late. Eric's words of instigation stung in the citizen's mind like daggers. Primes always think they are better than us secondaries. I'll prove this one wrong. It's always the crazy ones that need a good beatin' and I'll be the man for the job. One of plebeians thought as he raised a fist and snarled at the confidently caped man. "Jus' who the hell do you think you are buddy? No Prime goes around murdering kids in my town!" As the slow stupor of the man dwindled, Eric eyed him with slight irrelevance as the buckle around his belt slowly tightened and the sharp zipper along his shirt slowly coiled up toward his neck. The man responded fearfully, as he tried to shake off whatever unseeable presence had threatened the state of his attire. "That is enough!" A voice boomed in everyone's head. The humans of the room froze as though God's wrath was upon them. The one with the too-tight belt had been paused with his pallid knuckles inches from the freak's skull. It was obvious a higher-power was controlling him now, for his hand shook without the man's control and rattled as though it wanted to be free to plunge forth and land a decisive blow on the mutant's skull. Brown eyes bulged with strain as veins popped hot from his face. First his belt, then his zipper, now his fist. Utter insanity. And the secondary's hatred for the Prime only grew greater than the room could withstand. He spat his hatred to the floor, for it seemed it was the only thing he was able to do. Behind the aggressor, a familiar face wheeled at half the height of the feisty human but certainly not less superior in power. The Professor's neutral gaze was as nonchalant as his entrance. And tires slowly spun over the soft lines of well-worn wood. Re: An unavoidable destiny - Todd Ingram - 09-08-2015 And there he was, Charles Xavier. Erik knew it all along, all of this, the Omniverse, primes, Omnilium, it was all a mind game performed by this man. A man he used to call his friend, his brother in a long distant past yet now his enemy. He looked different but there was no mistaking it, this was Professor Charles Xavier, leader of the x-men and cause of many failed plans, a thorn to his eye. "Charles." The detest was hearable within his voice. " Ever since i set foot in this illusion I knew it was you. It reeked of your mind tricks. The only thing that I was curious about, how are you still alive?" The professor remained calmly in his chair as he positioned it to properly face Erik before he started to speak. " I will answer all your questions Erik but first release these men and we can talk like civilized men once more" His ever calm voice got on Erik's nerves. But he was no fool either, if Charles wanted to he could force him to release these men. Without his helmet there wasn't much he could do against the psychic mutant right now. Magneto unclenched his fist and both the zipper and the belt got released of their mysterious hold. " Alright, Let us talk like civilized men, in private" Erik's threatening gaze focused on the two secondaries that were threatening him a minute ago. Without a moment's hesitation the duo made a run for it. "Thank you, old friend." Xavier said as the two ran passed him. " Cut the unwanted pleasantries Charles and answer the question. How are you still alive ? I stood over your body in the mansion after I personally snapped your neck. There is no way you could've possibly survived." Charles's pupils widened for a split second when he heard Magneto's words. Within the professors mind the dots were quickly connected, this person is Erik, no Magneto from a different timeline, or perhaps a different dimension. Anything was possible here. " You killed a Charles Xavier, we both know there are more than one dimension and timeline in existence. We are mere visitors taken from our own worlds and been transported here, the Omniverse." "Do you honestly want me to believe a mutant like Omni actually exists and we got taken here because he believes we are interesting as he so bluntly put it ?" "Yes Erik, this is the truth. The Omniverse is a strange yet real dimension. I have been here for many years, found a way to contribute to society and helped to build Camelot. Within this world we are not bound by our mistakes in the past. Erik, don't you understand, this world is our second chance. As primes we can make a difference here." Charles was the same old fool, no matter which dimension he came from. These propaganda speeches got old. Erik had already tasted this world, and its hatred against a superior species. It was the same thing all over again. But where he failed at earth he can succeed here. He just needs to understand this world better. Perhaps raw power wasn't the way to go here, Charles had the advantage over him as he was right now. "Perhaps this is a second chance Charles. But even so, it might be too late for me now. The mob outside isn't really muta-... prime friendly." "It is never too late." The ever calm Charles was difficult to get a read on. Was he reading his mind right now ? Did the professor know what he was planning ? Only one way to find out. "Never too late, you always were a fool and an optimist. What do you suggest we do now Charles ?" Magneto's eyes stared at Charles's, hoping to get a read on the psychic. Re: An unavoidable destiny - Gildarts - 09-18-2015 Magneto’s demanding and rapid response was fueled by anger and rage. The clutches which both were wrapped in tight coils around Erik’s mind. Charles quickly analyzed all he could from the situation and responded in the calmest manner possible, as when he usually did when answering questions of any of the students at his school. Erik was not pleased with his manner, and always found it condescending to his power. The wise, grandfathering tone Charles always used, made Erik feel almost human. And he couldn’t have that. Charles easily put Magneto’s assumption all together, hearing his stream of thought was somehow nostalgic after being many many years without his friend. Apparently, in the universe where Erik had come from, Charles had died. This was probable and not un-surprising, especially in his current line of work. This did however, make their current matters significantly more uncomplicated. The Magneto that Charles was currently speaking to was not the one he once knew. Xavier could only guess some of the horrors that this Erik had seen and caused. It was interesting how “I” soon had become “we” when Erik tried to immediately appeal to Xavier’s patriarchal instinct. Charles still believed the best, and could only dismiss the suspicion that so easily accumulated with the building plans in Magneto’s head. Charles could feel the spewing of Magneto’s intent coming off of the greenhorn Prime. But, the professor and ever-optimist, offered the metal-bending mutant a choice. “In a few moments, some knights are going to storm the doors. They will be broken down, and undoubtedly there will be civilians who breach the door and trample their way through before either you an I have a chance to stop it. But,” Charles paused, hoping to bait out Eric’s humanity, “You can choose not to fight. And I, should you choose this, will be by your side to ensure there are no casualties.” A fair choice. Simple enough. Walk beside the influential man in the wheelchair and cling to Charles of all people to set him free. Magneto may have even done so too, had he regretted storming this town and shredding all the humans in his path. Now that Magneto had arrived, Xavier’s thoughts hung in the moment, of all the possibilities and repercussions of Erik’s new arrival. The Mutant’s arrival was no different than when Charles had once recruited and found up-and-coming mutants and invited them to his school. Most were lost and looking for refuge, which is why most agreed to join. However, there were those like Magneto who felt betrayed by the humans, and sought to wage constant war over any attempt at peace. The professor’s stone face remained composed as Erik had but a few moments to make his decision and realize his future fate in the Omniverse would come to fruition all because of this moment. This monumental choice. It all came down to responsibility. Charles had to note that even if Magneto made the correct choice, the professor would have to keep a constant eye on him. For he was the only one who knew -and would believe- what Magneto was capable of. Brown eyes wearily held on Erik as the events played out as Charles foresaw them. The wooden door that had been closed behind Charles was ruptured, splinters scattered in the air as swarms of people- most human, some mages- rushed into the room wearing knighted armor. The next thing Magneto knew, he was crushing them to the ground in an epic retaliation. Some of the mob had tried to seize and apprehend the mutant. Charles could only fold his lips into a frown of disappointment as he oversaw what happened next. A group of armor-covered guards rushed the room and the rebelling Magneto was quickly stunned by nullifying magic and lowered toward the ground. Re: An unavoidable destiny - Todd Ingram - 10-01-2015 The knights stormed into the small room where Erik and Charles were having their conversation. Charles's words were still lingering within Erik's mind when it all happened. It all happened so fast, the door slamming open, several knights leading the charge followed by enraged town members. Without a second thought Erik faced the threat how he normally would, meet violence with even greater violence. The first knight charging him was wearing full plate armor, little did the brave warrior know this was going to be his coffin. He reached his open hand forward, aiming at the knight. The metal of his armor felt as if it was an extend of his own body, awaiting the mutant's orders. Magneto didn't hesitate a moment and closed his open, extended hand in a crushing manner, behind his own hand he saw the armor implode, crushing everything inside of it. The knight crumbled to the floor as the blood of the victimized secondary colored his fellow warriors red. The sight of the fallen warrior brought great satisfaction to Magneto, another inferior creature gone from his sight, and many more would follow. With one hand he threw another knight through the window, sending him flying out of the mutant's sight, with the other he took control of a sword, forcing it to slash to its left, where an unfortunate farmer who joined the charge caught the sharp weapon between his ribs. His agonizing screams set a soothing tone. He did notice he couldn't control his powers as freely as he did before. The horde of filth was getting closer, quickly he summoned three metal orbs and shot them with great speed and force ahead of him, penetrating the three nearest men, and whatever would be behind them. His summoned metal returned to him bearing the color of success. "You shall all perish here today filth, the reign of mutants has begun." Once more he shot his metal orbs, yet this time they didn't go far. They fell to the floor after only a few feet. 'Charles !' his eyes looked around for his former ally, but he was nowhere to be seen. Only a swarm of insects closing on in him fast. He couldn't move, something was restraining him. The only thing the mutant could do was getting forced to the floor by the very thing he despised. These rodents weren't fools, several of them were trained in some sort of magic, restraining him together with Charles and the other guards. "You will pay for what you did here today Prime, your death will be slow and painful" One of the knights heaved his sword up, getting ready to strike. Erik couldn't sense the metal, he couldn't stop it. " ENOUGH !" Charles loud and authoritive voice filled the minds of everyone in the room. "He will face justice, but not like this. You will take him into custody and we will deal with him according to Camelot laws." Those were the last words Erik heard before he felt a sharp pain on the back of his head and everything turned black. ***
Rambling chains were heard as Erik felt his body move side to side, up and down. He was being transported. "I can't believe this criminal still lives, after what he's done." an unknown voice said. Erik kept his eyes shut as he slowly regained consciousness. "That's the problem in this world. Those primes all look after each other, even thrash like this gets a better treatment than any of us would. Shouldn't you continue to suppress him like the professor said ?" "He is still out cold, better to save my energy until it's actually needed" Exactly what Erik wanted to hear. "Or maybe he is just biding his time to kill the right person first" Erik said forcefully as he suddenly opened his eyes and stood up within the large carriage with bars covering the exits. The cuffs they used to restrain him would've worked on anyone besides him and clicked open on Magneto's command. "You should've listened to the old fool." He aimed his hand once more towards the mage that was suppose to suppress him, crushing his helmet inwards. The mage started to scream as blood started to flow over his face and out of his eyes. The screams did not last long and the mutant turned his attention towards his other guard. "No please don't , i have a daughter !" Pleaded the knight. Those would be his last words. Three bards penetrated his chest with enough force to push the guard through the wooden part of the carriage. This was Erik's chance, and flew out of his self created exit. Picking up altitude he saw the other knights below him pointing at him and shouting. Magneto was free, a horrifying thought for anyone who would get in his way. |
