This thread is to gauge interest in a possible saga we might run if we can hassle Greg about it enough, or someone else wants to run it. I'd prefer not to, since I'd like to take the role of a player in the saga, which is hard to do with a competitive saga like this one.
The basics of the saga would involve two factions, one 'good' and the other 'evil'. Players would be randomly assigned to each faction, so as to keep the numbers even. In the old saga, we fought for control of a realm; however I think in this setting it would be best fought to 'extinction' instead.
The two factions are the Ing and the Luminoth. The Ing faction would be possessed by dark entities which would control their hosts during the saga. The Luminoth faction would be protected from said infection, if I remember correctly, though no other changes would occur with the character. Players will have the chance, before the saga kicks off, to give their preference of which side they would like to be a part of, though if one side is over-strength, some people may have to make a sacrifice in their choice, which would be done via a random number generator.
What does everyone think? Obviously, this won't kick off for awhile, since many players are in the middle of intensive storylines, so this is really just to see who might be interested in this concept for the future.

I'd like a saga for sure but not the bloody Aether mythos again. Something new.

I have a couple of other sagas in the works I can run, if people prefer, though they wouldn't kick off at least until Greg has finished with the Jubilee. If he gets done in time, I'll do something Halloween themed.

I did mean it when I said in chat I'd be willing to run this. But not until my Uni holidays, or next year.

Albeit in a medical coma and attached to enough machinery to technically make her a cyborg... but still!
