Endless Dunes Suggestion: Rick's Cafe Americain - Thaal Sinestro - 07-19-2015
In short, I suggest that the tavern in Carrefore officially be Rick's Cafe Americain, from the classic movie Casablanca.
In long, it's an awesome set piece for the town, and offers a really cool couple of characters for PCs to play with. Gambling, drinks, and a fun 1940's atmosphere that feels otherwise absent in the big, depressing desert. The presence of the Empire would help add the same oppressive yet corrupt regime that is present in Casablanca, except instead of Nazis, it's Stormtroopers. Which are named after Nazis.
I think that giving the small settlement a little bit more flavor might make it a more attractive spot to hit up for Primes, and the jumping, fun atmosphere, yet still DANGEROUS and elicit, feeling of Rick's Cafe might help nudge that along.
Just an idea.
