Joining as Dark Drive - Dark Drive - 07-12-2015 Character name: Kamen Rider Dark Drive Character source: Kamen Rider Drive Character history: Kamen Rider Dark Drive was formerly a villainous figure hailing from the the year 2035, where he enforces chaos and tyranny upon a dystopian Japan of that time. Bearing the title and name of a past hero, Dark Drive has perverted and corrupted the duty of a 'Kamen Rider' by being a loyal servant to a fallen Krim Steinbelt, creator of the Kamen Rider Drive System he is using for great valence and destruction under the latter's orders as well as allying himself with violent cybernetic beings known as Roidmudes to enslave the human race. An incident of time travel involving Eiji Tomari, son of the famous Shinnosuke Tomari (and former Kamen Rider Drive), prompted Dark Drive to follow suite, using his personal vehicle named the NEX-Tridoron to go back to 2015 to prevent Eiji from warning his father and changing the future he lives in. Arriving in 2015, he is met with heavy aggression by their era's Kamen Rider Drive. Although using the superior system and technology compared to the underwhelmed Drive, Dark Drive is ultimately defeated in his climatic showdown with his predecessor and in the process, his identity is revealed. Dark Drive is none other than a future Shinnosuke Tomari himself, where in his dystopian future, he and Krim Steinbert were killed by the Roidmudes and their minds brainwashed and uploaded into Roidmude bodies for the sole purpose of upsurping the human race. With the tragic future averted, Dark Drive faded from existence as his old memories and heroic spirit returned to him...or did he? Before long, he found himself waking in a place silhouetted in white. Where he was, he didn't know but he sure as hell wanted to find out... Physical Description: [spoiler][/spoiler] Stats: ATK: 3 DEF: 2 SPD: 3 TEC: 2 Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength - 1000 OM Ranged Proficiency - 1000 OM Starting Powers: Superspeed - 1000 OM Burst Movement - 800 OM Starting Moves: Blade Gunner (Requires Physical Strength AND Ranged Proficiency) - 600 OM Dark Drive's personal weapon is the Blade Gunner (seen in the above image), a weapon that doubles as both a sword and a firearm depending on which mode it is set in by the tapping of the weapon's muzzle; its blade is 26 inches and the handle being big enough to comfortable hold one hand in. In Blade mode, Dark Drive can perform a quick swing motion towards his target; the direction of the slash is up to him. Although it lacks any special properties at the moment, it is unbreakable thanks to the S0-1 alloy used to create it, and can cut through flesh and bone with absolute ease. However, it has its limitations of not being able to cleave through thick/dense plating on its own. In the case Blade mode doesn't suit the situation, the weapon has an additional Gun mode, which shoots out bullet-sized heat-based energy blasts at the speed of sound that explode in the form of small sparks (a.k.a. to a firecracker going off) that can melt tiny holes through metal like steel when the Blade mode fails and lead to severe burns when in contact with flesh. Coupled with its semi-automatic fire-rate (akin dependent on how rapidly the user repeatedly pulls the trigger), makes this mode a good alternative to melee. Nonetheless, the Gun Mode suffers two major drawbacks; energy blasts the size of bullets trade off melting power for ZERO penetrating power and said blasts cannot be used for sniping, as they lose gradually lose power past the 250 ft. mark and completely fades away by the time it reaches 500 ft. Rider Kick (Requires Physical Strength) - 300 OM By pressing a button on the Shift Brace (a wrist-mounted device essential to his powers) and pumping the Shift Car loaded in it upwards once, Dark Drive preps a stance to ready his final attack. The NEX-Tridoron manifests a good distance behind him and begins to accelerate towards him. Dark Drive then leaps into the air head forward and feet back, stepping on his vehicle's windshield, propelling him forward as he spins around and extends his legs forward a destructive forward diving kick towards his opponent. As lightning fast as his kick may be, anyone faster can just sidestep to avoid the 'final' attack. This attack can only be performed on one person (I mean, how are you suppose to hit more than one guy midair?). I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Also, when you write the move for the gun, please tell me the rate of fire. That is all for now.
