This is concerning FAQ No. 27: Can I write in two places at once?
There was a thread originally started here with a small group that had its own storyline going on already, right? A couple of people had joined in, then separated to their own thread to develop their own plot point and resulting storyline from there.
However, someone from the first small group had posted a new thread entirely that I feel breaks the continuity of the first thread by continuing in a different manner than how the original thread is currently going right now, and would've been better off posted in the first thread.
I was just wondering if this was posting in two places at once or if the thread the member from the first group wrote is fine. If needed, I can post the threads in question.

If they broke off from the original group and started posting in their thread only, then it's fine. As you said, they separated into their own thread to develop their own plot.

I see. So from what you're saying, if ultimately all of that first group will be leaving together in the first thread, it's fine for one member of the group to make a new thread saying that a scene in the first thread happened between the group in a different way than how the scene originally started, then continue to (or plan to continue to) post in the first thread afterwards?
Would that be like seeing things from the eyes of that other person's perspective? Sorry, I just want to get all my facts straight here. If what you said is still in play, then that's fine.

From what you said, I thought you got confused about groups leaving other groups and splitting off into their own thread.
Not someone else trying to retcon events that already happened.
