An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Darth Vader - 06-26-2015

Can they be a character from another canon source material, or do they have to be completely OC? I'm assuming the former's fine, I'm just curious to know Smile

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Proto Man - 06-26-2015

I think we'd prefer they be OCs or otherwise 'non-central' characters.

Like... you could have a Koopa Trooper secondary... but we wouldn't be okay with you having Princess Peach as a secondary.

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Darth Vader - 06-26-2015

Right, right. Gotcha.

A follow-up question; I know Prime's can summon people from their own universes in as Secondaries, but how does it work, exactly? Does the Prime think long and hard enough about the Secondary in question and the guy's warped in like that? Or is the process much more tedious?

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Proto Man - 06-26-2015

It works just like summoning anything else. Think long enough, and they'll form. Secondaries can be summoned subconsciously as well (either through dreaming or if a prime summons a small settlement, it might invariably be populated with people).

Yes, I did just equate a living human being to a car or a sword.

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Darth Vader - 06-26-2015

Alright, coolio. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Proto.

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Erza Scarlet - 06-26-2015

So, I've been sitting on making Danaerys Targaryen a secondary for Drogon for quite a while here. Based on this, would I have to make her an NPC prime instead? Honestly I'm just having trouble imagining her... You know, fighting

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Shang Tsung - 06-26-2015

I'm sure either would be fine, but I don't think 'not being a fighter' is a reason not to have someone be a prime?

Re: An Inquiry concerning Secondaries - Erza Scarlet - 06-26-2015

Eh, this is true. I'm just having trouble figuring out how to distribute the old OM. I'll work on it.
