Drogon (Switch) - Drogon - 06-09-2015

Quote:Hi guys, Erza here. I'll be giving up Aang and switching to Drogon. Assuming that's okay, of course. Obviously there are plenty of things slightly off about this joining form. If the mods decide this ain't coo, I'll think of someone else to make eventually ^.^

Also, if I recall correctly, Drogon should keep half of Aang's earned OM. That shuffles out to 7,802.27 starting OM, and the below form reflects that. If that's also wrong, it can be changed Smile

Character name: Drogon

Character source: A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones

Character history:

Drogon was hatched in the center of a magnificent pyre of flame, along with his two "brothers," Viserion and Rhaegal. His surrogate mother, Danaerys Targaryen, a 14-year-old of royal blood married into a savage but powerful way of life with a Dothraki Khalasar. Drogon was named after Danaerys' husband, Khal Drogo, the leader of said khalasar, and the ritual she used to hatch the eggs was (in part) a revenge for his death. She is now barren, and as such, the dragons are the only "children" she will ever have.

Drogon rode along with Dany's camp of what stragglers remained after Khal Drogo's death, growing nearly as quickly as Danaerys' army as she took it upon herself to make a fighting force of freed slaves from everywhere she went. He mostly did as she desired when she needed him, but retained his free spirit, roaming the plains mostly freely and finding his own food as the Queen of the Andals traveled about or sat on a throne, doing boring human things. He did occasionally check back in with his mother, of course, but you know adolescents and how they like to be independent.

There came a point, however, when it was brought to her attention that he'd recently taken to snacking on small humans. Apparently this was an impalatable atrocity to the young queen, and so she locked up his siblings in a large, dark vault. Luckily he was able to escape before meeting the same fate, and he avoided her and her conquests while fending for himself, as usual, just without his family or the people he used to travel with.

And then, once day, he smelled blood. Delicious, human meat for the easy taking. Upon arriving, however, he discovered his mother fighting off assassins in a large pit. He fought with her for a bit, and then took her with him to the skies to escape the violent protesters. It was only once the stadium was out of view that he found himself alone in the middle of a vast expanse of nothingness, with only an ethereal white human-thing for company.

Physical Description:

(The dragon, not Emilia Clarke)

Stats:
ATK: 5
DEF: 2
SPD: 3
TEC: 0

Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength (1000), Ranged (1000), Area Attack (600)

Starting Powers: Flight (1800), Enhanced Senses (Basic) (1400)

Starting Moves:

Teeth (Physical Strength): 300 OM

Drogon has a mouth full of 2-inch-long, razor sharp teeth that he will frequently use as a weapon. (Not sure what else to put here.)

Claws (Physical Strength): 300 OM

Drogon's two (relatively) thin legs terminate in feet with long, nonretractable claws. This makes movement along the ground a bit more difficult than for creatures without claws, or with claws that retract, but he can still walk should he so desire without pain or extreme discomfort. In return, they are a powerful weapon. Sharp and to the point, these are most useful when Drogon is in the air above an opponent and can either grab them with said claws or simply slash at them.

Fire Breath (Ranged, Area Attack): 300 OM

Drogon can blow orange-yellow fire at his opponents. It will travel something like 10 meters, and expand from a jetstream at the opening of his mouth to a large, 4-meter-wide ball of flame at its max range (Though of course the closer it hits at, the more focused the flames will be). He does have to take a moment (about 1 second) to ready the flame breath, but can sustain it for four seconds before it begins to quickly dwindle. Must wait 10 seconds to use it again, or 5 if it was cut short before beginning to dwindle.

Starting Super Moves (lol):

Bigger Fire Breath (Considering changing the name to "Big-ass Fire Blastaroo") (Ranged, Area Attack): 800 OM (Tier 1 Offensive Super Move)

A much wider horizontal column of fire than his standard one, this reaches up to 30 meters, starting at 3 meters wide and reaching 10 meters wide at the final fireball at its maximum range. Again, is more effective up close (Not sure if that's allowed for super moves, willing to change). The fire is still orange-yellow in color and heat.

All of this should even out to a total cost of 7,500 OM if I've done my math correctly.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Re: Drogon (Switch) - Gilgamesh - 06-09-2015

Just curious but does Fire Breath require a charge?

Re: Drogon (Switch) - Drogon - 06-09-2015

Edited. Not sure how balanced that is, but I tried to make it at least somewhat limited

Re: Drogon (Switch) - Gilgamesh - 06-09-2015
