Exiles Investigative Services - Blink - 06-05-2015
Hello! So, I'm going to be trying to start a kind of in-character group that is going to shape the way my character approaches things in the Omniverse. The concept of the Exiles (the comic Blink is most known for) is that they are a team of heroes from different timelines and dimensions that go around saving the multiverse from threats.
I'm going to be doing the same thing here, where Blink makes the Exiles into a kind of detective agency. But it doesn't have to be just solving crimes - it's just a group of people that are available for hire to take care of business. It's going to be Blink and then I'm also going to have a handful of (mostly) original NPCs that kind of rotate in and out. I'm going to buy myself a base after DA for this as well.
I want to use this thread to let people know when I'm planning on doing different storylines/cases for the Exiles and I would love it if some people were up for joining in. I don't need any blood oath or other commitments from you. People can pop in just for a couple roleplays or they can hang out for entire storylines. I'm also going to put a Dataverse advertisement up in case people want to actually hire the Exiles themselves.
Is anybody interested in anything like that? Again, I don't need any commitments now. I'm going to be spending the first week or two getting it set up. But I'd love to hear any ideas and also see who might be up for peeking into the Exiles in the future. This is a long term thing for me so there's no expiration date on the offer.

I have a few things on my plate for the upcoming future, but I would be down for this.
I think its well within DP's character to dabble in any/all things.

Well, a year later and I've finally finished my thread so I can send Blink out into the world. I'll mainly be recruiting NPCs to form the Exiles, but if anybody is interested in joining (temporarily or otherwise), feel free to let me know and we'll talk it out.

I'm not at all familiar with the Exiles canon incarnation, but once I do a little reading on it and see how you're going about it here, I might toss Matrix up as a candidate.

Coruscant loves law and order. Stick to the letter of their laws, and they'll love you. It's when you start twisting them and playing vigilante that you get a ceramite-plated boot lodged so far up your rectum you taste Vulkan-brand shoe polish.

Ha. I was getting kicked out of Coruscant years before you even got to Omniverse =P

It's basically a superhero team, like X-Men or Guardians of the Galaxy, that is made up of people from different universes. They travel the multiverse protecting it from big bad guys. It's basically like...Sabretooth from a medieval world partnered with Blink from a futuristic world.
My take is basically the same thing. Making a bunch of NPCs (and a couple PCs that may peek their heads in) from different universes, partnering up. The detective agency thing is really a front. They're actually a private police/military squad.

Exiles Investigations Services is still open for either assisting characters who need a problem solved, require room/board at the base or need employment. Right now I'm NPC-staffed but they can still get the job done (though me =P).
