The Empire, and the Koopa King - Mickey Mouse - 06-02-2015 So, the Empire seems to be out for all sorts of information they can get their hands on when it comes to growing in power, as evidenced by the Empire Faction Quest which allows Primes to volunteer to be experimented on. My question is: how far would they go to expand their knowledge? Are they so shady that they would associate with a supposed terrorist organization if it meant they were going to have access to information or items/artefacts that would enhance their grip upon the Omniverse? I imagine they would try their best to keep such an association a secret, but nonetheless, I wanted to check and see if it was within their morals in the first place. If context matters, the group I'm imagining is a splinter group of Secondaries based on Organization XIII from Kingdom Hearts. Secondly, the way I currently have my first Super Move worded, it draws power from the yellow Kingdom Hearts, which in-canon was created by Organization XIII as a copy of the original Kingdom Hearts. The idea is that the entity is an aggregate of many hearts collected by the organization, all pooled into one great powerful thing. I'm trying to adapt this idea for the Omniverse, and this was the explanation I came up with: this group of Secondaries goes around murdering other Secondaries and extracting Omnilium from them. (Can Secondaries extract Omnilium?) This Omnilium, essentially the murdered Secondaries' life force/"heart", is then pooled together to create this big generator of power (I guess by some random, as-of-yet undecided Prime, since Secondaries can't summon) which Mickey somehow is able to tap into. Does that sound plausible? Lastly, on a pretty much unrelated note, how difficult would it be for a PC Prime to defeat Bowser? And what is required to even get to that fight in the first place, considering he's a major NPC? Feel free to use that. As a whole, the Empire doesn't have a whole lot of moral boundaries. Does that sound plausible?Yeah. And yes they can. Quote:Lastly, on a pretty much unrelated note, how difficult would it be for a PC Prime to defeat Bowser? And what is required to even get to that fight in the first place, considering he's a major NPC?Pretty difficult, as he is an established prime. But not impossible. I imagine he is at tier 2 or three. The difficulty, as with most established primes, is getting past their forces and getting to them. How do you quantify that? We don't want to put limits on it. But imagine how difficult you would think it might be to infiltrate a kingdom and fight the King. Then try to do it justice. It's always good to check with us when you're planning something big as the next stage in your storyline, to see if what you've done so far merits the next step. But honestly something like beating Bowser is Ascendancy level. Re: The Empire, and the Koopa King - Mickey Mouse - 06-02-2015 Thank you, Samus! /goes back to planning Re: The Empire, and the Koopa King - Mickey Mouse - 06-03-2015 Back again, Samus. So, this splinter group kidnaps Minnie for ~reasons and then hands her over to the Empire for safe keeping. Classic logic says she would be taken to Impel Down, yes? Furthermore, how difficult (IC and OOC) would it be to break her out? Re: The Empire, and the Koopa King - Samus Aran - 06-03-2015 Really difficult. It's basically a maximum security prison in the middle of the ocean. Re: The Empire, and the Koopa King - Mickey Mouse - 06-03-2015 Samus Aran Wrote:Really difficult. It's basically a maximum security prison in the middle of the ocean.Noted. But it's possible with a lot of effort? I'd also probably ask for a staff member to judge if I'd done enough quality writing for it. Re: The Empire, and the Koopa King - Samus Aran - 06-03-2015 This isn't the kind of thing we would judge. It's just, like I said before, imagine how difficult it would be and then try to do it justice with your writing. |
