Character source: Final Fantasy VII (Crisis Core)
Character history: Zack Fair is a former 1st Class SOLDIER in the ShinRa corporation. After being defeated in a battle with his former friend, Sephiroth, at the town of Nibelhiem, he was experimented on for four years alongside his friend Cloud Strife. Zack managed to make an escape, and became something of a vagabond as he attempted to track down other former SOLDIERs Genesis and Angeal. Eventually, after settling the score with Genesis, he attempted to return to Midgar to reunite with his love, Aerith. It was not to be, though, as he was ambushed by a sizable portion on the ShinRa army. With no way to escape along with Cloud, Zack attacked the forces head on. Though he inflicted heavy casualities and effectively crippled ShinRa's entire military operations, he was unable to overcome the sheer numbers that were thrown at him. Dying before his friend in the aftermath, Zack smiled as he saw the spirit of his mentor, Angeal, descending from the sky with an outstretched hand. Zack smiled and closed his eyes as he reached up to take Angeal's hand. He felt a strong pull and a strange sensation. He couldn't know what dying would be like, but he hadn't imagined it would feel anything like this. He would soon realize that he was to be spared, so that he might have one more adventure.

Buster Sword (300) - A large sword that measures approximately six feet long and a foot wide. It has a single blade and a decorated golden hilt. Besides the enormous size of the blade the two holes on the blade, near the hilt, are key distinguishing features. It's large size makes it quite powerful but also slower than the average sword, even in Zack's skilled hands.
Blade Beam (300) - By charging energy into his sword, Zack can then slam it into the ground and release the energy in a powerful straight line attack at his target. Since this beam attack travels along the ground, it is limited to targets that are on the same physical surface as the attack started on.

For your Blade Beam please utilise the checklist on the Writing Moves section. We need to know that the windup time, whether he can use it while moving, et cetera. Please see the move approval thread in the help desk if we you wish to see a baseline to the level of description we expect from all of our members.

I knew I was going to mess up that move when I rushed and added it at the last second, and yet I did it anyway. How's this?
Blade Beam (300) - By charging energy into his sword, Zack can then slam it into the ground and release the energy in a powerful straight line attack at his target. The move has a two second charge up time, and is easy to identify because blue energy will begin to cover the sword he is using, which is nearly always the Buster Sword. When Zack slams the weapon against any surface, the energy leaves the sword and travels in a straight line, until impact with a target. The energy travels in the form of a blue beam, which measures about three feet tall and half a foot wide. Using this move takes some concentration, which limits his movement ability by foot to about half speed. However, he is capable of jumping at a target and charging the attack in midair as he travels. Since this beam attack travels along the ground, it is limited to targets that are on the same physical surface as the attack started on.
