Tell Me Agnès - Joline - 05-14-2015
I have decided to occupy some of my spare time by answering questions others pose for me. I have often found myself in positions of doubt, where I cannot answer my own questions, where I do not feel that I have the right answer. In such a situation I often see mediation as a possibility, and this is a place where I can bring such a desire to fruition. Any question posed here will be one I attempt to answer, so long as it is not inappropriate in nature. It is crucial to keep in mind that I am far from all-knowing, and so it should be kept in mind that I will not know the answer to every question. I will try my hardest to provide the best answer I can for every question asked regardless.

First, I would like to express my appreciation for such a quick response! I had not expected such enthusiasm from a realm I knew little of.
However, I am unsure of precisely how to handle such a remark. Staying true to the 'impartial' portion on my end of this question-and-answer operation, however, I will gladly tell you what I know. Regular exercise, consisting primarily of pushing yourself just beyond what you would consider 'normal' each day moves you closer to your body's ideal weight. Losing weight would be more difficult, as from what I recall the body is content to remain slightly overweight (This way it would survive longer if it went into starvation). Alongside exercise and pushing yourself, from what I am aware of lean meats are supposed to help build muscle, but for a palate preferring more tender meals, you may choose to eat mainly fattier meat and possibly some sort of vegetables.
Additionally, I believe that if you are having trouble gaining weight, you may have reached what is called a 'plateau', where your body has either gained or lost too much weight recently. The body assumes it is either going into starvation or that it will become unhealthily overweight if it continues, and so it stops itself from changing further. If you find yourself in such a situation, I recommend either slowly making your daily intake of food larger (For gaining weight) or make it gradually smaller (For losing weight).

I have lost track of how many days exactly have passed since then, but I do not have any plans to count again - I would need a calendar for that, and according to the calendar I have found on the device I am using at the moment, the calendar back in my home and the one here are very different... I can provide my birth date as it would be according to the calendar I know, but it would likely be difficult to figure out how that corresponds with the calendar you know.

I have yet to form a true opinion on it. I had heard an offhanded mention of it earlier, though I had not been told what it was. With context, I do not believe I will enter, nor will I be interested in following it. Fighting for a reward does not seem like something that would interest me - I have everything I need except for that which I must search for, and human beings cannot legally be given and taken like objects. I sincerely hope such a belief carries over to the Omniverse as well.

I have yet to take the time to question Omnillium. Your question has yet arisen doubt, and so I have done research in Crystalist Scriptures - I have not found any mention of it, and so I am led to believe it may be some sort of magic long lost to time.
(I have considered, thanks to research on the Black Mage Asterisk, the possibility of it being a long-lost piece of Black Magic, as it seems to hold Black Resonance. I will look into this further, and if I figure anything out, I will return to you. I fear, however, that I do not have the answer you seek.)

It is unfortunate indeed that you cannot sleep. In times of travel when I found myself unable to sleep, I was told by my companions a few methods by which they cope with such situations. I was told by one that warm milk can help. Getting any distractions off of one's mind, by means of talking about them with someone else, helped another of my friends; He, however, used a journal at times when there were not ears around to hear what troubled him. Lastly, you could try to exercise for five to ten minutes and then lay down to release any energy you have left over from your day. From personal experience, I find that having an open window from which ambient sound can enter the room works wonders.
I had stated not long ago that I was 'single', but as of now I am walking with a friend. I suppose that means I am not single?
"Have the courage to think and act on your own, and have the courage to disobey". Those words have been key in the past few months of my life. I hope that answers your question on fate. As for your last point, it is flattering that you think so, but I do not understand what the question is. Perhaps I am missing something? Did your entire question send?

I have spent the last week in this hell hole of the universe, trying to find a way out. The world I used to know is no long what it was, faced with horrors from beyond. When I had faced those horrors, it was purpose that kept me going. The duty to protect and the will to live, or die trying. Now that I'm here, I still have a purpose: to reach Omni. But in my pursuit of the may home, I have caused so much harm, directly or indirectly. And it feels like I'm abandoning my duty for a selfish reason. And all they while, I've found that path towards that silhouetted monster grow longer and longer. Part of me wants to give up.
I guess the question I want to ask is: how do you keep going when everything seems to go wrong?

I am afraid I do not know what you mean by finding a king. When it comes to kings, I do not have good experience with some, but with most I have fond memories. I recall, for one, a king of the desert long ago trying to deceive those below him while hiding his true nature. He was the closest thing to a king I had, as he ruled the desert in which the Temple of Wind, the place I lived and served in, is located as of the time I was brought to the Omniverse.

The way you speak of things, I receive only negativity. Pessimism is a possibility for your current situation, as you are likely never going to reach anything positive in life when you do not see any such positive things in the first place. However, I am very much aware that not everything can be accomplished alone, which is a lesson I have been taught (And, if I must be completely honest, I still have not fully come to terms with). It is never too much to ask of those around you - Those you call your friends - Support. While I am sure you are quite capable, even the strongest need support, and oneself is not enough to provide all of that support. Thus I request, if you have not already tried, speak with those around you about your goals. If your friends do not share your goals, there is someone out there who does, and I recommend finding them, whoever they are.
That is not to say, however, that I do not want an escape from this world. I fear for the lives of my friends I was taken from... Though I must not concern you with such things.

I apologize for taking away somewhat from how personal these replies are, but I have similar words for both of you; I do not intend to watch or take part in this "Dante's Abyss", but it deeply concerns me, as I have never looked at death or the act of killing in any way but hatefully. I will be with a friend of mine in this desert, as I have been for the short time this question and answer session has existed.
When it comes to advice for this event... I am not very educated on what will be happening, but after briefly looking through information available on this device, I am somewhat certain that I know what may happen. I would recommend staying away from others, unless you see fit to make allies whom you will trust enough to 'watch your back', all the while shedding the least blood possible - Of your own and of others. That is how I would handle such an event, though I personally will not be taking part. Additionally, I will need to learn sometime what a 'beanie cap' is.
How do you know if someone is trustworthy is a good question. A trustworthy person is someone you can safely turn your back on, or someone who will fight alongside you even in the face of uncertainty, adversity or death. That is what I have thought for the past few months, but true trustworthiness, I believe, cannot always be explained in such a way. Ultimately, however, it is up to your own personal judgment. If you doubt someone, you cannot truly call them trustworthy, correct?
And before I finish this... I would like to extend my gratitude to all of those who have asked me questions so far. It means a lot that you are all willing to speak your hearts and minds to me so, and to put faith in me for answers. Thank you.

I am one of a Thousand Sons, with no inheritance. My mind, body, and steel are all that I own, taken as the spoils of a war without foreseeable end. My brothers and cousins have fallen, one by one, until only a handful remain who remember why we fight. In the chaos of war, fully half of us forsook out absent and resentful father. We found new purpose in the embrace of patrons who accepted us for who we were, what we were. Now, the descendants of those who stayed loyal to our father and those who turned from him find themselves locked in the same war that was started nearly eleven thousand years ago. The few who survive from those ancient times are almost exclusively those who forsook our father, and we are hunted and despised for what we did.
I ask you, Agnès, is it better to serve and obey the man who gave you life, even if he despises you, or is it better to serve those who accept you for what you are? Is it better to be a slave to tradition, or to progress? These are things that have been argued for millennia in my world, and will be argued for millennia more. Perhaps the wisdom of another reality can aid in settling this matter. What are your thoughts?
