You can't decline, but you can immediately try to escape (see fight rules). Whether or not you succeed is down to the fight judge.
Might be better to make it Ganondorf because he's more familiar with the rules n such. I just didn't think it'd be fair to nominate someone I work together with on the site everyday, but he's pretty impartial.

Also, as it's the first fight on the site and I'm the admin, I feel it's only fair to tell you that you probably have a fairly good chance of escaping Samus Aran, obviously depending on writing quality. You have 2 SPD, whereas she has 0 SPD and you have debilitating moves whereas she only has grapple beam. Obviously clever writing can be used to mitigate these advantages from either side, but stat-wise you would have an advantage in an escape/chase scenario.

That's also besides the fact that on each of your posts you have a chance to escape, whereas Samus will need to wait until the end of all the posts to see if she won. Basically meaning that, if the judge feels you got away on your very first post, Samus loses her chance to beat you.

If I have to fight, then whatever, I'll deal with it. But this is getting ridiculous. Everyone else on this site seems to be able to roleplay on their own if they want to, yet I can't do a single thing without getting interrupted. Give me a chance to enjoy myself for a change, jeez.

Edit: Before you mistake me, I wanna make myself clear. I'm really enjoying reading your Joker. He's a blast. And once you get to some of the lower tiers of Coruscant, or to another verse, you'll be able to do more of your Joker thing without needing to worry about the repercussions... But you did just murder your way out of detainment...

Whatever. You practically godmoded getting out of prison and escaping from the judge office. The rules are right here and I even told you personally that if you tried to escape you'd get a bounty. I even gave you an IC escape route.
I'm gonna try to get another IC post up with Samus soon, lemme know when you're ready and I'll make the first fight post (since Samus is the IC initiator, makes sense). You okay with the judge, rules?

I'll put it out there that I'm a big supporter of playing in character. I've lost many a D&D character because I did things that didn't make sense from a player perspective, but it was in character. I respect that. But I'm also willing to accept the consequences of doing so. That's all I'm saying. Play the Joker the way you want to, but if you go around murdering people, especially public officials, you have to be willing to accept what comes from it.
Edit: And this isn't a case of me and Greg being friends teaming up on you, or the Staff Members being jerks. It's just me telling you that there will be consequences for doing illegal things. Why do you think my plan for taking over the Dunes isn't "Kill everyone in my way"?
