Who is your judge?

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-12-2015

Considering we're fighting in the middle of a bustling, busy metropolis, I think it would sorta make sense if Stormtroopers tried to intercept the fight and "keep the peace" about midway through. It's just an idea, but it'd kinda make sense. It still feels kinda early for either of the characters taking part to be killed off definantely, also, lol

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Mako - 03-12-2015

Hm, I would rather have the storm troopers come up at the end of the fight if Sivo or Jon and Crona want to finish off their opponent. It would save people from dying as well as let their fight end.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-12-2015

^^ That. Also, gives me an idea for a revenge kinda story arc. Basically, they fight, Stormtroopers come and intercept the battle. Sivo gets away, but Jon is captured (Crona can be taken, also, if he wants to. And Mako, if she takes a side). Jon's put on trial, and is given two choices; find and claim the bounty put on Sivo for disturbing the peace or whatever, or face banishment.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Vulre Oakenlimb - 03-12-2015

Well that will allow me to live out my mad scientist fantasies, as I flee retribution from the Empire. I think that's a fair result, although the situation will need to be dire for Sivo to forsake his holy duties.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Mako - 03-12-2015

If Mako does take Crona I don't think that it will get Crona and Mako a bounty. The place has a lot of cameras and they can replay the scenes to see that Crona and Mako had done no wrong. Also how many storm troopers should come?

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-12-2015

I'd imagine quite a few would show up. Considering it's a full on showdown between 3 primes, there's a lot of potential for citizens to get harmed. Maybe even Judge Dredd himself could make an appearance.

I don't think they've decided on one. You need to have one before you start fighting. For clarification, you mean 48 hours in between each post right? Not 48 hours for everyone to post in each round?

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Vulre Oakenlimb - 03-12-2015

48 hours between each post, to give people some time to think and do their best work.

As for a judge, we're still looking for an interested mod.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Proto Man - 03-12-2015

I'll judge you guys, Sivo

(Sivo asked me in the chat while I was on the train and I didn't have a chance to reply)

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Vulre Oakenlimb - 03-12-2015

Hooray! I'll start work as soon as possible.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Proto Man - 03-13-2015

Hey. This is optional, but if anyone of you'd like to, you can message me an outside reference (whatever it may be) if you think it'd help me understand your character a little more. I know that you're all fairly new characters to the omniverse, so it may help me get a better grasp.

Again, this is optional and won't have a bearing on judging, I just like to know all I can.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-18-2015

I'd like to request an extension to the deadline for my next post, at least by a day or two. This is a pretty stressful period for me, since I'm all but ready to move house tomorrow, and I really can't get into the mood for writing. Worst case scenario is I'll be without internet for a week after I've moved in, but if all goes smoothly, I should have my internet back up and running the day after I've relocated. Apologies if this causes a bit of inconvenience, it'll be worth the wait though, I'd hope.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Proto Man - 03-18-2015

What say you, Jon's adversaries?

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-19-2015

Proto Man Wrote:What say you, Jon's adversaries?

I've already spoke to Sivo in the Cbox about this, and he's in complete understanding of my situation, I don't know what Crona and Mako's stance on this would be.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Crona - 03-19-2015

I'm all cool with it, real life takes precedence, of course.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Mako - 03-19-2015

I give it my okay~. Real life always comes first, well at least I believe that's a rule of roleplaying.

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Darth Vader - 03-20-2015

Internet's back up, I don't know whether I've missed the deadline or not at all, lol. Either way, a post will be up soon-ish! Big Grin

Re: Daemon and the Devout Discussion - Proto Man - 03-21-2015

Please please please don't take this the wrong way, guys, but can we all stop rehashing the previous post(s)? I know that you want to try and add your character's view to 'the action' or include their spin on things, but, as a reader, I don't want to have to read the same quote or see the same scuffle redone from a different perspective. This is especially important here, because you only have a length restriction. Keep it all fresh, you can incorporate their motivations and monologue a midst new punches.

I only say this because I'm keeping running feedback and I've made this same remark in all the posts, although for Round 2 this seems to be a shrinking issue.

This is a very brutal fight. Keep at it.
