What Profs / Powers do you need to make a move that allows you to "ignore" Debuffs?

You don't need any. Although in some cases it might be flavourful to pick one or two. For example, if I got something with Viola, I might have her quickly accelerate through time to make harmful effects end quicker.

However.

Debuffs are a wide category. Some effect your mind. Some poison you or directly limit your body. Some physically restrain you. Others constantly work on everyone within an area.

It is impossible to make a move to let you ignore all debuffs. Because it simply doesn't make sense. You could make a move where you stand still for some moments to clear your head to remove various mental debuffs, for example - likely with a fatigue cost as an additional drawback, or limited effectiveness. My time manipulation example wouldn't help anyone ignore a debuff that does damage over time, and would force them to take all the damage at once - so that has limitations too.

It's possible some anti-debuff moves might require regeneration, since you'd be "healing" yourself, somewhat.

Any anti-debuff moves used on allies will require buff, and some will also need healing.

Note that whatever you make will require drawbacks of some sort, be it a charge time, fatigue, a mixture of the two. Something like that.

If an NPC can transform between a robot / vehicle mode at will, can they travel through the gates in vehicle mode if their robot mode is too big to travel through the gates?

NPC Secondary?

Yeah, you could have them do something like that if you wanted. It's fine to have secondaries that act as vehicles, so long as they follow both the usual secondary rules and the usual vehicle ones. And have them change between forms or whatever. But you'll need to make them an assist to use them in fights outside of your personal storylines and stuff.

NPC Prime?

You'll need to make sure they have an alt form or something to be able to turn between a vehicle and a robot, and their speed might not reach the usual vehicle speed cap (unless they get a move for it or something).

Either way, as long as they only go through the gate in forms that are small enough, you're good.

If they are too big to fit through the gate? No, because they are too big to fit through the gate while in their vehicle mode.

Is it against the rules to retcon a prime's (short) time in the Omniverse?

As in, could I give my character a sudden case of amnesia and play them as if they were a fresh prime that was just summoned?

This should affect zero other people or events so continuity shouldn't be an issue. I mostly wrote solo but a couple of years have passed since I was active and I have no idea what I was going for nor do I intend to try and find out.

Legit retcon?  No can do.  But...

Giving your character amnesia and then effectively ignoring your previous stuff?  Yea, that's fine, especially given the context of your character's present escapades.

You can only have flying vehicles in Camelot and Coruscant. But, if I want to fight some dragon for the lols, can I grapple it and sorta-fly for a bit in a personal storyline outside of those verses. Like, some aerial battle except my dude doesn't have flight so they'll just be punching a flying thing that wants to kill them, while trying not to fall off.

Mostly asking because I want it to be some stupidly long fight that goes on for miles and miles across the verse, and it could be sorta seen as cheating the usual transport rules stuff.

Do drawbacks affect the potency of Super Moves at all? I know that the equal level super defense will absorb it no matter what, but if a super isn't blocked and it has a large drawback will it be stronger than an equal level super that lacks a drawback?

No. Drawbacks don't make super attacks or defenses stronger or weaker. They can have some impact on utilities in some cases, but this is usually nonexistent except for more sustained benefits/drawbacks paired together.

Roughly how much damage would losing an arm be equivalent to? I was imagining about 4-5 damages if the bleeding was sufficiently staunched.

It varies, but as an actual injury, 7+ damage. (There's a table on the fights page of the rules). Although that table is more for injuries set after fights than during. I guess if the bleeding is stauched quick, yeah - it could maybe be cut down to able that.

Alright so I plan to go after the chaos emerald for some needed respec, but I also have consumed om. For the consumed om that was spent only on refunds on moves and powers, am I able to recieve that back as well? After all, its all listed in my logs. I have other consumed om that is for quest rewwards but i figure thats a no go because thats allocated no matter what.

You'd get consumed OM back. A complete respec would account for everything minus the cost.

Well, nothing to really lose then, thanks for the answer Joe <3

No problem. Slight addendum though. You won't regain consumed OM spent on items. I completely glazed over that fact. If you don't have Consumed OM spent on Items then yeah you'd get it all back minus the cost of using the Artefact.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Demetri Malius - 06-01-2018

Surprisingly none of the 1k+ i have is on items so chaos emerald is a go for me

Would Darkshire have an automail mechanic? Or something similiar to it?

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Karl Jak - 06-01-2018

A mail service?

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Strazio Rockwell - 06-01-2018

No, automail is the name for armored prosthetics in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe. Sorry I should've been more specific. http://fma.wikia.com/wiki/Automail
