RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-21-2018 I'm gonna say "no". They're kinda like passing someone with Insight/Telepathy. They might not know your deepest secrets, but they'll easily pull the most common info about you. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Little Ghost - 05-22-2018 When writing posts for the book club, is it ok to write several posts as long as the review part for each individual in the story thread is 150+ words as the rules require? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-22-2018 The whole review only needs to be 150+ words. You dont need 150 per individual, as long as you review each fairly. I don't see why not, though. It might look a bit cluttered though. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Little Ghost - 05-22-2018 (05-22-2018, 10:27 AM)Handsome Jack Wrote: The whole review only needs to be 150+ words. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Desman Black - 05-25-2018 With certain objects (like a truck or a piece of concrete) requiring you to have a certain amount 9f ATK What would happen if someone made a normal move where they throw a truck and someone with a lower atk tried toimic it Would the mimicer be able to to throw the truck? Or Would it have to be a smaller obhect? Or would they just not be able to use the move? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Daniel - 05-25-2018 They'd be able to mimic it and use the move. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Makoto Yuki - 05-25-2018 Refunding anything you've bought (Proficiencies/Powers/Moves/Transformations) only nets you half their value in OM, yes? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - The Emperor of Mankind - 05-25-2018 myes RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Daniel - 05-25-2018 (05-25-2018, 03:17 AM)Makoto Yuki Wrote: Refunding anything you've bought (Proficiencies/Powers/Moves/Transformations) only nets you half their value in OM, yes? To add on to Emperor's answer If you're experiencing a kind of 'Buyer's Guilt' for something, then we may allow you to refund something at full price as long as you're not trying to abuse it and as long as you haven't already used whatever you're refunding In Character. But you should always check with a staff member before doing this so that we can check things out and give you permission to refund at full price (Do this via a Help Desk thread so that you can link it in your log). RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Demetri Malius - 05-25-2018 If I want to do something such as travel along shadows, what power(s) would that require. As an example: My character is moving along a city with lots of dark areas so I want them to be able to travel by shadow. They would be able to slink around places much easier than in full form, so long as they traveled along the shdaow of something else. They would appear on the surface as their own shadow, and that 2d shape can be hit. Granted I would need steath for this since its hiding my presence, but would I need something else such as phasing or elasticity/malleability? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - ElFailzalot - 05-25-2018 Depending on the specific flavor of this you want to go with, you could get by with a combination of Stealth for a base, and then Malleability, Integration and/or Phasing. Write up the move itself and take it to the workshop, and we can hash it out more accurately. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-25-2018 Disassemble would work nicely as well, by turning into a "swarm" of tiny shadows. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Reece - 05-26-2018 If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest taking a look at Luci's "Graffiti Jaunt" move for inspiration. Other than the fact that you're just wanting to become a shadow, rather than a picture, they seem like very similar concepts.
Quote:Graffiti Jaunt 300 OM (Reuirements: Phasing, Shapeshifting)
RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Demetri Malius - 05-27-2018 Alright so, I'm in the middle of a star piece quest right now, BUT I dont want to finish it at the moment. Is it ok for me to "fail" in a sense on my own and resume the quest later or must I start from scratch? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Dane Regan - 05-27-2018 (05-27-2018, 09:18 PM)Demetri Malius Wrote: Alright so, I'm in the middle of a star piece quest right now, BUT I dont want to finish it at the moment. Is it ok for me to "fail" in a sense on my own and resume the quest later or must I start from scratch? Yeah. You can "pause" quests and put them on hold. Just write a post with Demetri leaving the thread and go off and do your other stuff. So long as it's feasible he could continue where he left off, you can do so and finish it later. But, if the quest is unique, it may leave others with the opportunity to snag it from you more easily while you're gone without the fear of competition. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Demetri Malius - 05-27-2018 Alright thats fine, im going to go ahead and make give him a little scare at getting caught before he even starts, then come back soon after RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Yu Kanda - 05-28-2018 Seeing as how fatigue is playing a large role in moves. I want to confirm what decides the stamina of a character? is it the Def? is it the Spd? I think Spd is the obvious awnser, because Cardio. but wanted it clarified. Not everyone has the same stamina, a move for one prime can be very draining while another can take a lot more fatigue wise. There's nothing hard and fast about it, but here's the guidelines as written in the rules: http://omniverse-rpg.com/omnistats.php#Fatigue RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Yu Kanda - 05-28-2018 how did i miss that xD thanks! |
