I believe a move was suggested and "quasi-approved" which was a mass - heal thing, where 2 SP could heal a small group ALL of 1 DMG. But don't quote me on it. That would certainly improve her SP efficiency.

Also, I seem to recall Healing being based off of DEF, so it's possible a higher DEF could net her increased rewards as well.

Other than that, just getting Moves for Healing would be her best bet. Powers always work better with specialized Moves. Perhaps something which would allow her to split the cost between her and the recipient?

If you don't want to be involved in a long ass battle then don't base assault someone. xD (This is now the third fight I've been forced into, without break, so if anyone can complain about being stuck in a fight too long, it's me.)

I like four days, but I dunno how I feel about groups. The idea that I would be restricted in the fight on who I got to targeted doesn't sit well with me. I have all these artefacts and am going to want to plug in where I feel I can do the most good. So, I dunno... =/
What if we have 4 groups, but with Super Moves and Artefacts being able to cross into any group at any time? That'll help us cut down on the round time (which is still over half a month per rotation) AND you can allocate your resources too.
Thats actually not a bad idea....all you have to do is inform the parties involved that something happened towards that specific character. Crossover stories just sound awesome.

I think 1 on 1 in a round style thing would be fine, with a 3 day cap. Lose and be eliminated. That'll put each round at 18 days (max), and assuming 14 combatants, it'll take about 72 days, if everyone takes 3 days to post. The only way I can think to speed it up would be to do 3-4 man groups and the 2-3 worst scorers would be eliminated.

In this scenario, people would be able to choose their "target", and hopefully come to an agreement about who wants to fight who.

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Ganondorf - 11-18-2015

My math was a bit off. 15 days a round, 60 days total, not accounting for any occasion breaks between rounds.

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Thaal Sinestro - 11-18-2015

Yeah, the group plan would have 4 groups to, start out, and so you'd lose 4 fighters the first round. Then we can start whittling down the fighters and clumping the groups up. The groups would rotate. So you could get a good mix of characters.

Then on top of that, super moves and artefacts could be used on groups you aren't in, so that everyone feels that they can use their big hitters across the board.

I really and truly wish we could just do ONE MASSIVE BRAWL, bit it would take literally like a half a year at shortest.

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Ganondorf - 11-18-2015

One on one would eliminate 7 fights the first round. It may also be easier to judge. Then again, team mechanics ARE important.

I mean, even the descriptive text of regen describes more than 1 point of damage. I dunno, I just want it to be fun and fair for the site's sole combat active healer

Improving the base Healing Power might move in into a "necessary" level of utility. It's a fairly powerful ability as it stands. I think Moves would be an acceptable way to "power it up", because the cost can be variable, depending on the utility. Or maybe even a Super Move which could work as a Mass Heal spell.

If Demetri and Nealaphh came back into this fight, would it ruin everything?

I never knew Demetri left! And nah man, I'm striving for a method that can include everyone.the small group plan would fit you in.

Alright, The Institute Primes in the Nippur area will dedicate themselves to fighting for NB. To clarify, that's Nealaphh, Tom and Demetri.

Alright, we'll factor you in

I think people are misunderstanding the group fight rules.

In group fights, an entire round lasts 72 hours by default, and players must 'call' the right to post next by posting in the corresponding OOC topic. If a player is next in line but has not posted within 2 hours, the right passes to the next player to 'call' their post. If you are taking longer than expected to post, you should let the other players know, or pass on your right to post. Once every player has posted or 72 hours (or the decided time limit) passes, the round will end and the next round will begin.

In other words, it works exactly like the secondary saga.

Given a group of this size, I would recommend extending each round to 5 days.

I would not recommend bringing in any more complicated rules, elimination style stuff, or anything else. It stands to make an already complicated scenario more complicated. Use the base rules which were designed to keep things simple and accessible.

72 hours to call, but not 72 hours for everyone to post and complete the first round, right? I still favor a longer deadline, as to keep up with real life, staff, and this fight all at the same time. If that's cool. =/

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Omni - 11-18-2015

Yes, seventy-two hours for everyone to post once for the first round. By default rules.

As I stated above, I would recommend extending each round to 5 days or more for a group of this size.

My thing is that, each side has more than 5 members in it, so each would be given less than a day to respond. Its like a 7v7 affair. I had hoped to have 3-4 days all to myself to post xD

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Omni - 11-18-2015

I think five days to get out one post would be more than reasonable. Any more than that and I feel we are simply stopping more active members from being able to post as often as they would like.

Five days, three rounds. That's fifteen days to brawl, barring extensions for exceptional circumstances. Any objections?

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Gilgamesh - 11-18-2015

Just to clarify there would be no clear posting order but instead a calling system for whenever you have the chance to write?

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Omni - 11-18-2015

Yes. You have five days to find a spot and call when nobody else is posting.

Re: Legacy & War [Base Assault; LAW vs. New Babylon] Discuss - Thaal Sinestro - 11-18-2015

I think that this is gonna get way messier way faster that way.

If people agree on custom posting rules, why isn't that acceptable?
