RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Jak Mar - 05-05-2018 by chance, did I get my om for voting last month? You should have gotten it on Jak. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Viola - 05-05-2018 (05-05-2018, 07:00 PM)Trixie Wrote: Force Prime questions are not be answered until release. That might be true, but I'm pretty sure Omni or Alex already stated that you can make an NPC prime into a forces prime once they go live (assuming you can afford it and they're not too high level, when you'll need to make adjustments), so 13's answer was correct. But yeah, anything else is just speculation and thus not fit for quick questions. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Gambit - 05-07-2018 Quote:Imperial Disarray Just wanted to ask a quick question about this quest. Is there a specific agency we have to run into or can we create one for the quest? I am working on Gizmo Labs right now, which fits the bill for one of these organizations (anti-Empire, has a mission to disrupt the Empire, has an NPC Prime as leader). The only difference is they're located in an "underground" lab on Tier 4, not 5 or 7. The mission they want Dexter to go on will be on Tier 5. Is all that okay? Thanks! RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - James Knight - 05-08-2018 I have a question. Suppose you swap to a character someone played in the past, and the character got themselves an Empire Bounty / Black Listed from the Empire, or Camelot, would you have to do quests to have such removed, or how would that work exactly? I think Thor had a bounty, so I'll use him as an example to try and answer what I think your question is. If you change characters, you'd be a new version of Thor, so you wouldn't have a bounty. Obviously, you didn't play Thor in the past, and you don't have permission to carry on the character from the previous writer to continue his iteration. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - James Knight - 05-08-2018 Also what are the rules relating to crafting an Artefact? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Dane Regan - 05-08-2018 (05-08-2018, 02:07 PM)Warren Zimmer Wrote: Also what are the rules relating to crafting an Artefact? You can't. There are events that allow you to obtain one, and you can fight someone else for theirs. But outside of that you cannot get one. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Wyatt the Swift - 05-08-2018 (05-08-2018, 02:07 PM)Warren Zimmer Wrote: Also what are the rules relating to crafting an Artefact? You cannot create one unless it has been done by a Site Quest or usually a site event RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-08-2018 Assists: do we still not have a way to boost their stats? I know we got Power-Upp boosts, so these apply to Assists? If Assists have access to your Moves, Profs, and Powers, do they also have access to your Super Moves and/or Power-Ups? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Viola - 05-08-2018 (05-08-2018, 06:29 PM)Handsome Jack Wrote: Assists: do we still not have a way to boost their stats? I know we got Power-Upp boosts, so these apply to Assists? Quote:It's possible to boost the number of stats you gain from your Power-Ups and Powered-Up Forms, and the number of stats assigned to Assists. These are called Power-Up Boosts, and they work exactly the same way as regular ol' Stat Upgrades, except that they increase the number of points you have to allocate on your Power-Ups, Powered-Up Forms and Assists. As for your other question about assists using supermoves or powerups, I'd assume no. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Sasuke Uchiha - 05-08-2018 (05-06-2018, 12:44 PM)Viola Wrote:(05-06-2018, 12:29 PM)Sasuke Uchiha Wrote: Why would a buff move ever be able to do more than a power up? Nothing on the site lets you double up the things you are trying to double up, and things even remotely similar to it are far less effective AND cost sp. This isn't just a no, its a "Nope, lol, not even". I am confused as to how you would think this is even possible. Are you not using the same criteria to judge your own moves as you do others? I hardly think you would approve someone else's move like this. (05-08-2018, 06:31 PM)Viola Wrote:(05-08-2018, 06:29 PM)Handsome Jack Wrote: Assists: do we still not have a way to boost their stats? I hardly think you would approve someone else's move like this. Per the wording on the rules page: Quote:Assist characters have access to all of your Proficiencies, Powers and Moves. Yes. The wording in the rules classifies Transformations and Power Ups as powers. Albeit the wording used is "special power." However, the SP cost is compounded. You're paying for both summoning the assist and activating the power up/transformation/super move. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-08-2018 Neat. Thanks, pal. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Belle - 05-10-2018 In the case of creating an NPC, does the NPC have as much OM to spend on abilities as you yourself do, or only as much as is required to reach the same level as you? (I have 21977. Does my NPC get that, or 18000 (the minimum required to reach level 5)?) RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-10-2018 In regards to DA. It has YOUR OM amount. In regards to general NPC creation, it can have enough OM to remain in the level bracket 5 above yours. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 05-10-2018 I'm planning to do the Gorons quest in the Ashen Steppes soon (since the 3 month cooldown on it runs out within then next 2 weeks - Wesker finished it on the 22nd of Feb). Part of the IC insentive for Eb is that they might know something about the Ashen void gate (quest). I assume I'm fine to fudge this in, but does it seem like a fair assumption that they might know stuff about it? Not like a solid location, but maybe rumours or be able to give Eb a pointer in the right direction. Potentially warnings about the big monster at the end - but I doubt that. Anyway, am I good to fodder in that these guys would know some general (but vague) stuff about it? Is there anything specific they might know? After all, they've been travelling around the Steppes for some time, so it seems reasonable they'd know something. (The actual void quest would naturally be in a separate follow-up thread) RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Karl Jak - 05-10-2018 They'd know of the Void gate, some dangers associated with it, and could point you in the general direction. Feel free to fluff it as you please, as long as they're not giving you like, hyper specific information like "oh say hey to Kraid for us." RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Cell - 05-10-2018 Is it possible to do a Void gate quest with two of our characters going together? Eg. Illidan and Jim |
