RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Trixie - 04-27-2018 (04-27-2018, 08:43 AM)Illidan Stormrage Wrote: This post: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=5989&pid=75278#pid75278 Fixed. No idea why it wasn't showing up. I removed formatting on it and it showed up normally. Does it work on your end? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Alex - 04-27-2018 It doesn't work on my end. It worked when I tried to preview edit, but not afterwards. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Jack Darby - 04-27-2018 Is 11 days a long enough time to wait, before you write yourself out of a thread? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Dane Regan - 04-27-2018 (04-27-2018, 02:59 PM)Rafael Esquivel Wrote: Is 11 days a long enough time to wait, before you write yourself out of a thread? Ask the people you're writing with, dude. Unless they're gone completely inactive and you can't contact them, when yeah, I'd probably leave. Like Alex said, I can see it when I preview the page but once it's saved, it just shows text.
RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 04-27-2018 Check your User Control Panel. Under Options. Make sure "Display Images in Posts" is checked. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Dane Regan - 04-27-2018 I dunno what the problem was, but I edited your post to decrease the image dimensions to 504x674 and that fixed it for me. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Illidan Stormrage - 04-27-2018 (04-27-2018, 05:34 PM)Dane Regan Wrote: I dunno what the problem was, but I edited your post to decrease the image dimensions to 504x674 and that fixed it for me. Yep, now I can see it too. Thanks. Might be a size limit or something. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Marisa Kirisame - 05-01-2018 So if you get an item in a quest you don't want can you sell it and if so what would you decrease or increase? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Karl Jak - 05-01-2018 You can't sell back something you received for free. I can't recall if any existing quests still offer consumables. If you want to sell that to another member, that'd be your prerogative. All transactions fall under Consumed OM. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Kyle Crane - 05-02-2018 (This is more out of curiosity than anything. No current plans to even enter the Void, let alone build a Base there.) Is it possible to make a Base in the Void? Maybe with a Recall Station to make "return trips" easier? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Dane Regan - 05-02-2018 (05-02-2018, 10:25 AM)Kyle Crane Wrote: (This is more out of curiosity than anything. No current plans to even enter the Void, let alone build a Base there.) No. You cannot. Quote:When you purchase a base, you must specify in which Verse it is located (any of the eight 'main' verses, plus the Dataverse and Underverse, though you cannot teleport out of the Underverse), and where in that verse. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Jack Darby - 05-02-2018 Can you make a power that is a more limited form of an existing power, IE Mimic - but it would only apply to equipment moves? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 05-02-2018 You can just buy the power and make the IC choice to limit yourself, I guess. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Trixie - 05-02-2018 (05-02-2018, 09:50 PM)Rafael Esquivel Wrote: Can you make a power that is a more limited form of an existing power, IE Mimic - but it would only apply to equipment moves? You can't create powers. You don't need a new power to only apply Mimic to equipment moves. That's a conscious RP Fodder IC decision you can make. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-02-2018 You need Mimic to Mimic anything. You can't circumvent that necessity by making a Move that's slightly more limited. That goes with any Power or the like. You could make a Move to enhance or alter what a Power does, but you'd still need the Power first. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Reece - 05-03-2018 I know that you need Hive Mind, Flight & Disassemble in order to be able to separate your limbs and control them remotely without taking damage... but if you just wanted to use limbs that had been severed in battle by your opponent (or if you felt like tearing your own arm off for some reason, and didn't mind taking the damage) could you do that sort of thing without Disassemble? Also, would doing this require Ranged Proficiency and Remote Control Proficiency? I know that having Hive Mind on it's own doesn't need these, so I don't think this should either, but I just want to be sure before I go and purchase anything. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 05-03-2018 If you just want to use your severed arm as a club, you don't need anything (except maybe Survival so you don't bleed out). Hive Mind will allow you to use your cut off limbs like they were still attached, so in short: yes. You don't need Disassemble to use anything removed from your body as a weapon. If you plan to attack anyone further than 12 ft from you. You'd need Ranged. But Remote Control isn't necessary, since it's a physical part of your body. All that said, you won't need a Move to do any of this. It's all included in the Power Description for Hive Mind. RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Amaterasu - 05-04-2018 I believe this has been asked before but I can't find the relevant thread... Will NPC Primes be able to be turned into Force Primes? RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - The Emperor of Mankind - 05-04-2018 Ye |
