To make sure of something. Does having your character if they are a computer or video game nerd remember weapons/powers from video games and similar require the use of Insight, or no?

No.

To add a bit more detail Q42 of the FAQ gives bit more info on breaking the 4th wall like that.

Is it possible to create a Move that deals the same damage to any target, regardless of Def or Defensive Moves, as long as the damage of the Move is relatively low?

Maybe? My assumption would be 'no', but it's more an Omni/Alex question and I can't find anything confirming or denying the possibility by searching through the site.

If it was possible to have one, I'd say it should probably also be independent of your own ATK as well. And it'd be very weak, and likely need a bunch of drawbacks.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - King Ghidorah - 03-18-2018

No. Bypassing DEF has never been okay, and fixed damage-amounts are something we've even moved away from with Supermoves.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Crocodile - 03-18-2018

Alright then.

Edit: The reason I ask is that we already HAVE Moves which help to "bypass" Spd (Area Attacks, Homing Attacks, etc.) and Moves which can "bypass" Atk (stationary shield enhancements, walls, etc.), so I felt like a Move which deals the same, minor damage to everyone would be along the same vein of developing ways to deal with opponents' strengths.

How are the Dante Abyss's referred to IC?

DA '15 doesn't seem like it'd be the right way to say it IC

Dante's Abyss 2015. It's a game show so it would be the full title.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Kuzuru - 03-18-2018

Is it canonically called Dante's Abyss 2015 though?

It's just called Dante's Abyss. The year would indicate which "season" you're watching. So for 2015 it would be Dante's Abyss 2015 for that specific running of DA.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Kuzuru - 03-18-2018

Okay just so I'm clear, having my character say "I just watch Dante's Abyss 2015" would make sense then?

Yes, in the same vein of saying you watch Season 1 of Friends only.

Why does the Omniverse use our calendar system?
Shouldn't it be 'Dante's Abyss Year 10', or something? To be in line with the Omniverse timeline?

EDIT:
Also, I have a completely unrelated question of my own: Is it okay to write NPC Primes with an account other than the one they belong to?

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Daniel - 03-19-2018

In regards to how you refer to DA, the name of the thread is for OOC purposes. In character you would refer to them as Dante's Abyss 1, or Season 1, or whatever (not the ooc year).

As for Writing as an NPC prime on a separate account to the one it was created on, no.

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Sasuke Uchiha - 03-20-2018

Can you put a base in the Nexus?

Oi! That blurb has to be new. >.>

Thanks!

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Gilgamesh - 03-21-2018

Can I submit an NPC prime and then buy said prime once forces release if I meet the requirements and OM to purchase said prime

RE: Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP) - Crocodile - 03-21-2018

Yes. However, if you make them buff as an NPC, they'll get hit hard when you make them a Force Prime.
