Re: Quick Questions II - Tearen Wover - 12-08-2015 So Nealaphh is in a fight now. But I want to purchase a move I made. Am I correct in assuming that I CAN purchase it, but it will not become active until my next fight (i.e. Mock Battle) Re: Quick Questions II - Roger Smith - 12-08-2015 Nealaphh Wrote:So Nealaphh is in a fight now. You are correct, my friend. Re: Quick Questions II - BlackāStar - 12-09-2015 Trying to read up on secondaries and any limitations or somesuch, but I cant actually find a thread or something with the information. Basically, all I want to know is; is it possible to RP as a secondary, either solo or in a group, and/or keep some form of diary? If yes to the latter, where would the best place to post said diary be? The answer to the first part is yes, you can most certainly RP as a secondary, in addition to whatever prime you happen to have. As for keeping a diary, you could do that on the dateverse, or perhaps just put it in spoilers in whatever thread they're in. Re: Quick Questions II (The combination attack moves edition - Artoria Pendragon - 12-11-2015 So, out of curiousity. Let's say for the sake of an example, that I was fighting a 2 on 2 battle with Yang, against Ruby and Weiss. In series, the 4 of them have all kinds of combination attacks, silly or not, so just out of curiosity, how would these work? Both of the 2 would have to have the move? Or it just works, no move needed? (Just for the sake of example, it's often seen that Blake grants Yang huge momentums by spinning her around with the hook mode of Gambol Shroud.) Re: Quick Questions II - Proto Man - 12-11-2015 I believe when the topic was raised in the past, the status quo was that 'combo' moves would have to be approved and purchased just like any other Moves. Re: Quick Questions II - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 12-15-2015 Excepting Konata, is there instances of accidental Secodaries by PCs? Re: Quick Questions II - Proto Man - 12-16-2015 Proto Man un/subconsciously summoned the Robot Masters while dreaming (so obviously time was a factor, like with all summons). My doing that actually set the precedent for 'Secondaries don't have to be summoned deliberately' =p Re: Quick Questions II - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 12-18-2015 Do any of the stats improve stamina/endurance or is that just level? Re: Quick Questions II - Proto Man - 12-20-2015 Level has no IC effect. Stamina/Endurance falls under the umbrella of DEF Re: Quick Questions II - Undyne - 12-21-2015 Can you "copy" a move/item after seeing someone use it, to make a similar move/item, without having the Mimic power, or is it mandatory to have for this? Re: Quick Questions II - Artoria Pendragon - 12-21-2015 Can I purchase things pre-emptively? Say, can I buy a base, or alternative form, or a move today, and implement it into RP two years later if I want to? Re: Quick Questions II - Strazio Rockwell - 12-21-2015 I don't see why not, as long as you still follow all the rules for summoning items and bases, and don't just instantly whip something out of hammerspace. Re: Quick Questions II - Sasuke Uchiha - 12-21-2015 Yang Xiao Long Wrote:Can you "copy" a move/item after seeing someone use it, to make a similar move/item, without having the Mimic power, or is it mandatory to have for this? You may do so without Mimic, however, you may not use any moves that you just created during that fight. Basically, you would need to wait until that particular fight ended before you could use the move you bought. With Mimic you could do it during the same fight, as that is what Mimic is for. Re: Quick Questions II - Okor - 12-25-2015 Can you manipulate the environment in the Astral Realm, given how it's created of dreams, imagination, etc? Re: Quick Questions II - Sasuke Uchiha - 12-25-2015 Okor Wrote:Can you manipulate the environment in the Astral Realm, given how it's created of dreams, imagination, etc? Straight from the Info Sticky of The Astral Realm: Quote:Its a highly mutable place where even such simple things as where your attention lies can change the landscape. So, yea, Okor, you're good to do that. Re: Quick Questions II - Okor - 12-26-2015 Is it possible to access the dataverse from within the Astral Realm? Re: Quick Questions II - Proto Man - 12-26-2015 If you are physically in there, it's all good Re: Quick Questions II - Ruby Rose - 12-30-2015 Are Secondaries/NPCs able to be OCs from unrelated media or is that still off-limits? Re: Quick Questions II - Dark Link - 12-30-2015 Ruby Rose Wrote:Are Secondaries/NPCs able to be OCs from unrelated media or is that still off-limits? Still off-limits? I don't think we ever barred members from creating OCs from unrelated media. In fact, normally, that's the only way you can have a character from an unrelated universe involved in your storyline, since we only rarely make exceptions for canon characters being used this way. In any case, yes, you can have secondary NPCs that are OCs from unrelated media and that were brought to the Omniverse by a different, unknown Prime. However, they still count towards your secondary NPC limit; the fact that your character wasn't the one who summoned them doesn't change that. |
