At least if I understand this correctly, Sasuke and anyone else involved may have a week's time OOC to get ready for the fight after accepting it.

Actually before I get too hyped up. What are the standards we are setting in terms of post count per player, word count and time restrictions and the judges?
Personally I'd like something a bit more freeform with 1000+ words but that's me.

I'm sorry if I'm a bit... enthusiastic. I have strong opinions about pvp and I really don't like someone trying to throw limited deadlines into people's faces. I probably would not be looking at this topic had that not happened

party one may want 1 day, party 2 may want all 7, then they come to an agreement in the middle based on that situation.

I would say no, unless the summon time is instant. Smith has had time to prepare for this because he was betrayed and murdered. It's a little weird to start talking about fairness now.

It means exactly if one party wants 7 days then it's 7 days. They can't force more unless both agree. It's black and white, may is used as an allowance here not a restriction or a random chance.
And you've got parties on both sides that want a fair time.
