Re: Move Approval - Sarah_Kerrigan - 02-18-2015 C-10 Canister Rifle: (Ranged) (600 OM) A Terran rifle designed for Ghost Operatives to use in the field. Although not as powerful as its Gauss counterpart (used by the terran marine forces), it is more versatile. Capable of firing at a close distance with bursts of 25mm X 125mm spike rounds. In addition to functioning as an effective sniper with single-shots of 25mm X 120mm concussion rounds. With the latter, it’s effective range is several thousand yards further. However, in order to effectively absorb the recoil, each round must be individually loaded and primed. Once loaded, it takes roughly 5 seconds for the munition to prime (charged shot). This does mean that the propulsion behind each shot is greater than that of the rifle’s burst fire mode. It is best used at a distance - and before a target is aware that they are in the cross-hairs so to speak. From barrel to stock, the rifle is approximately 50 inches in length. Since its frame is made of a light-alloy, it only weighs slightly over 17 lbs - allowing its user to maneuver at a moderate speed while holding it. Likewise, the height and distance of its 9 X 25 inch night vision scope can be altered on the go as well. Its absolute maximum range is around 4,000 yards. Passing 1000 yards or so, the further Sarah is away from her target, the less powerful the impact of the concussion round. While Burst fire on the other hand, is completely ineffective at any range past 50 or so yards. Re: Move Approval - Jack Frost - 02-18-2015 Wall of Frost- The Guardian creates a Wall of Ice 15x15 tall and wide.(Can be smaller ) Its nearly a foot thick, and almost instantaneous speed. The further the wall is from him, the longer it takes to form. Jack can only cast it within a fifteen foot radius of himself, unless he can use nearby Ice to create it further with Salvation. Preq: Salvation, Area shield Prof. (600 OM) Ice the Unseen: Jack walks around constantly with an unseen dense layer of thin ice. It is his final defense from attackers if they manage to strike him. It makes him cold to touch. Without Salvation it slowly begins to melt and easier to crack. It only protects him from a few hits near equal to his defense and technique. Anything greater, it will only soften the blow but crack the ice. To recreate the ice at it's density, Jack needs around an hour at his basic levels of technique and defense and speed. If he is near water, he could also make it faster as he uses Salvation to just make it more dense. Preq: Salvation, Area Shield (300 OM) Re: Move Approval - Crona - 02-19-2015 (Black Blood Upgrade) Bloody Needle: This attack can only be performed when Crona's blood has been spilled, transforming it into black needles that stab through the opponent if they get too close. He can manipulate the blood in his general vicinity, and can fling the needles at any target within range. The needles only take a few seconds to construct, and are roughly the size of a normal human finger. As long as there is enough blood to form the needles, Crona can make as many as he desires. (Req. Ranged Proficiency, Remote Control proficiency) Screech Alpha: Crona commands Ragnarok to begin a charged attack which takes about one to two seconds to fully charge. When fired, Ragnarok fires a long-range beam attack 2.5m from the end of the blade, the beam has a purpleish hue and sounds like someone is screaming at the top of their lungs as it flies through the air. If the beam hits, the target is knocked back a significant distance, between 20ft to 40ft, depending on the size of the target. (Req. Ranged Proficiency) Re: Move Approval - Shang Tsung - 02-21-2015 Spiritken - Long ago, Shang Tsung was a Shaolin monk. He was one of the best young monks, hence his selection for the Mortal Kombat tournament held back when he was a mortal. One of the greatest skills a Shaolin monk can master is the art of dipping into their 'ki' for greater strength, speed, and endurance. This technique manifests itself as a light green aura that glows around the sorcerer's body for the duration of its activation. Shang mastered this skill when he was still human and retained it mostly for the sake of later using it to butcher the entire monestary after his return from Outworld. ATK: +2 DEF: +1 SPD: +2 TEC: +0 Re: Move Approval - Jack Frost - 02-22-2015 Slip N' Slide- Jack can only use the attack very sparingly. As long as Jack has Savior in his hand, he can tap the staff and a thin sheet of ice will begin to cover up to a 25 ft area. He can allow allies and those he chooses to pass over the ice but uses it to cause issues for his enemies; Slipping and sliding and possibly falling as they lose their balance and footing. He also has no issues using it to play pranks on friends. The created ice, itself, spreads out to it's peak in almost instant speed. The duration of the ice lasts as long as Jack is within the diameter of the ice, but also needs Salvtion to maintain it. He can disolve it it at will, but unless he weakens the ice before it leaves, or adds more power into it, it can take up to 15 seconds to retract, depending on the tempatre, to its center. It leaves bits of water among the ground after it dissolves. .(Will require the purchase of Debuff Prof. and Area of Attack Prof.) (300 OM) Re: Move Approval - Omni - 02-23-2015 Dio Brando Wrote:It's more that I had to go to triple fatigue and was trying to find a way to deal with the fact that I essentially have to finish fights roughly 3 times faster if I want to be able to keep pace. That's assuming that you're constantly having your double out. Even if you did that, the fact that there are two of you (one of whom slows your opponent) and only one of them means that finishing a fight in a fraction of the time with you as the victor would not be at all implausible. This is a very powerful move used situationally. Quote:I mean it's not like it's a free double, it's still a 1:1 damage transference. That's a fair step up from something like, I dunno, an assist or other traditional summoning moves. If someone smacks Bahamut when he comes in Cloud doesn't burst into treats. :pThat's true but if you can overpower your opponent you don't get hit, and if there is two of you and only one of them then it's very easy to do that. Assists are powerful but the downside is that they cost SP. This does not cost SP and can be used over and over, potentially indefinitely, unlike an Assist. It's also literally as strong as Dio and slows an opponent. That's a lot of effects. Quote:Can't blame a guy for trying to test the waters with a move and see what he can get.Of course, but you need to discuss this because it seemed like you were trying to sneak it past my radar. That's not cool. Additionally while re-looking over your move I noticed that the wording in the final line makes it seem as though the fatigue only takes place specifically when Dio and his double are both attacking simultaneously. Normally I would assume that's just a wording thing but I'm starting to get worried. So I'm going to adjust the wording for youon all the parts that I see as being potentially shifty of problematic just to get this done. Quote:Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda! (Requires Physical Strength, Time Manipulation, Debuff Proficiency. 600 OM): Dio summons his stand, a psychic emanation of his soul that appears from nothing, The World for a brief period of 1-5 seconds. The World has to physically move to reach targets and moves with a speed equivalent to Dio's own executing a single command - "Attack" or "Block" - before it vanishes and needs to be re-summoned. Any damage that would be dealt to The World during this period is perfectly transferred to Dio at a 1:1 transfer ratio, thus if you manage to land a killing blow on The World you would kill Dio. It takes one second of concentration to summon the stand. Dio can also attack while the stand is attacking during that 1-5 second period that The World is attacking. The World's blows shatter time around the person it hits, slowing them by roughly 25% as the fabric of space time struggles to adapt. This effect lasts 1 seconds for each blow landed by The World, stacking based on the number of hits The World lands. The shattered time repairs itself completely every 10 seconds regardless of any other factors. While utilising The World, Dio exerts over triple the amount of effort that he would normally. This version of the move is approved at 600. Feel free to adjust this but use this as a measuring stick for what I feel is balanced. Re: Move Approval - Guu - 02-26-2015 I'll be able to afford this after bonus OM this weekend, so getting this approved now. Adult Guu - Tier 1 Power-Up (1000 OM)
![]() In moments of crisis, Guu transforms into her more battle competent adult form; a 5'6" woman with knee length hair and dull red eyes. While this form specializes in close quarters combat, she still has access to all of Guu's abilities. Adult Guu is notably more expressive than her default and will sometimes be lead to care about others, but elements of her tricker spirit still remains. ATK: +2 DEF: N/A SPD: +1 TEC: +2 Re: Move Approval - Guu - 03-03-2015 Measuring Tape Punch (300 OM) Ranged Proficiency, Malleable[float=right] [/float]This is an upgraded form of her standard stretchy punch. Allowing herself 3 seconds to aim and charge, she launches her arm at high velocity, usually hitting the target at a vulnerable spot. Due to the added focus, this move does almost double the damage of her normal punch. Limitations: She needs to be standing still and focusing in order to use this move. This moves breaks stealth as soon as it impacts the target. Stomach of Wardrobe (300 OM) Stomach of Holding Guu can change into any outfit she has stored in her stomach instantly. Almost like in a jump cut, her current outfit is immediately stored in her stomach while the desired outfit just appears on her body. If she choses, she can portray this as a flash of light or a magical girl transformation sequence, but these take longer and are purely just for show. Re: Move Approval - Gilgamesh - 03-03-2015 Ea(Requires Physical Proficiency) 300 OM Gilgamesh opens a golden portal behind him to draw out his most prized possession, Ea. While it has a grip, hand guard, and is the same length as a longsword, the section that should contain a blade deviates from the normal form of an edged weapon. The black "blade" itself and the tip of the sword, spun in a spiral shape, are dull. It has the shape of a cylindrical, drill-shaped pillar made up of three independently rotating segments engraved with crimson cuneiform lettering that spin slowly in alternating direction , the middle segment spinning clockwise and the top and bottom segments spinning counterclockwise. It can be used solely as a thrusting weapon such as a spear and the King only brings Ea out when he feels the opponent is worthy of its presence.

Reworded it to make it a less powerful move rather than a Super Move Re: Move Approval - Eileen the Crow - 03-03-2015 Zweihander (300 OM) Requires Physical strength proficiency and Area Attack Proficiency This heavy, massive blade was the alternate weapon of choice for the Chosen Undead for most of his adventure in Lordran, and for good reason. Where the typical straight sword is quick and efficient, but not too special, the Zweihander is absolutely massive. The blade is taller than the Chosen by a good three feet, and incredibly heavy. In fact, the Chosen cannot wield the blade without using both hands, leaving him unable to use a shield or second weapon while bearing the Zweihander. Its attacks are very slow though, and limited, he can't do much fancy with it beyond heavy, sturdy slashes, but the blade makes up for it with power and reach. The massive blade can cover a great area of effect with each swing, a single slash able to cover an arc that reaches up to six feet away and sweeps over five feet or more, for a painful range, although agile enemies can still duck beneath it or jump over or away, and its sheer size and force can cleave through weak enemies, or knock tougher enemies onto their backs. In addition, the sheer size and weight, means that repeated swings will tire the Chosen out. On average, a good four or five swings will leave the Chosen winded and breathless, requiring time to rest and recover, and he may have to switch weapons entirely to even continue the fight at all! Still, it is a weapon best reserved for massive, very tough enemies, or teeming hordes of beasts, nonetheless it is an important addition, to the Chosen Undead's arsenal. Annnnnnd, altered. Re: Move Approval - Crona - 03-04-2015 Screech Gamma: Crona causes Ragnarok's Edge to resonate with his black blood, causing the blade to warp somewhat in shape and size and allowing him to unleash a flurry of melee attacks. The blade grows 10cm longer and 5mm wider, as well as glowing a bright purple hue. Crona can use Screech Gamma immediately, however if the technique causes Crona to become dizzy and disorientated if he uses it twice in succession. He can attack 5 times a second for 3 seconds, totaling 15 standard attacks in an extremely short period of time. Bloody Slicer: Crona cuts his own wrist instantly, before flinging an arc of his black blood at an enemy. The attack is medium-range and takes the form of an axe head as is travels through the air at an enemy, causing damage if it hits, or otherwise deeply cutting whatever it lands on. It takes half a second for the blood to harden after it leaves Crona's bloodstream, and after it makes an impact, turns back into a liquid puddle of black blood. Crona can fire only one Bloody Slicer from a self-inflicted wound, and firing another requires Crona to make an additional cut. Crona deals damage to himself for every four times he uses this attack in succession. Re: Move Approval - Shang Tsung - 03-06-2015 I guess I rarely try things that are neat, so I'll try that now. Perfect Shapeshift - Tier 1 Super Utility - At the expense of 1 SP, Shang can 'perfectly' shape shift into another person. This means that taking physical damage won't cause his appearance to glitch out or otherwise betray his true identity. Useful for long-term subterfuge. The normal rules of shapeshifting apply (Shang doesn't gain any new powers or moves nor do his stats change in any manner), and someone who would be able to overcome his Advanced Suppression would still be able to tell who he really is. Re: Move Approval - Monkey D. Luffy - 03-07-2015 Dio Brando Wrote:Tier 1 Utility Supermove: Approved! Just keep in mind this is a Tier 1 Super Move therefore it lasts a solid 5 seconds and costs 2 SP. So even if you have 4 SP you can't increase it to 10 seconds without making it a Tier 2 Super Move and spending the required OM to upgrade it. Re: Move Approval - Caira Ayryn - 03-08-2015 Quote:RP Fodder: This was previously priced at 300 OM, and if that's the price I don't mind but I just wanted to be sure though I don't mind the cost. Re: Move Approval - Atelos - 03-08-2015 Hades Swords(Requires Physical Prof.) Three White swords instantaneously materializes above Atelos, following his commands as if they were controlled by limbs. They cannot extend further than if were held by an arm but has the flexibility to move around his entire body at will. They are not very strong but they are very quick. Does not have any elemental attributions. Tier One Super Move- Hades Reinforcement A white mist covers Atelos' shield and Atelos concentrates on reinforcing his shields strength with his flames, he must be completely immobile while taking the damage. Blocking any Tier One Super Move. Rephrasing Old abilities due to my lack of writing Atelos' aura. I haven't remembered to write it as much and this makes much more sense in Atelos' lore. Same effects though as before. Re: Move Approval - Mami Tomoe - 03-09-2015 Ribbons - Uses Area Shield Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency, Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency (600 OM) Ribbons used to restrain a target. If the ribbons or whatever it restrains are damaged, Mami will be hurt, making this not a means to tie down and wail on an opponent. The ribbons can also be used as a sphere-shaped shield that has a five and a half feet radius - Just large enough to fit Mami - Which allows deflection of minor projectiles and field hazards/obstacles (Fog/smoke, light gunfire, etc.) without harm, though bladed attacks will cut the ribbon and damage Mami as a result. In order for the ribbons to restrain their target successfully, they need to attach themselves firmly to two static (Hard to move or immobile) objects. When a target is successfully restrained, the ribbon will end in a bow and a cosmetic lock to not only humiliate with weak looks but to give a sense of security in being trapped. EDIT: I goofed the first time I edited this. So I had to edit it again and add in a thing, so hopefully that's OK. Re: Move Approval - Monkey D. Otherwise, this seems fine to me, and it's approved. As I know you probably want this more so for writing rather than PvP, you can feel free to have these moves have more of an effect on secondaries. That cool? Re: Move Approval - Roger Smith - 03-15-2015 Posting up a couple o' moves here. Don't plan to buy 'em right away, but as they become relevant story-wise I will buy them and the required Proficiencies and Powers I do not yet have, as the OM becomes available. Laser Blade - 300 OM (Requires: Physical Strength) More of a desperation or sneak attack than anything, Adam can depress a second trigger on the rifle concealed in his crutch to build up a charge -- a thing which takes approximately two seconds. At that point, he is able to produce a blade of condensed energy from the barrel of the hidden rifle, roughly three feet long and four inches across. It is a quick thrust, as it emerges from the rifle barrel, and quickly fades away, leaving no time for an attack beyond its emergence; it is, in essence, a laser-based pile driver, packing a significant punch, but with a strict one-shot caveat, before requiring nearly half a minute to cool off before it can be used again. Motherfucking Lightsaber - 300 OM (Requires: Physical Strength) As a child, Adam always wanted his own lightsaber. Now, in the Omniverse, he can finally have one. Fairly unremarkable as weapons go, the handle of the weapon is solid black, with bands of silvered red serving as a grip. The dark red cog of a Time player adorns the end opposite the blade emitter as decoration of a sort, and the blade -- which is, of course, red, again to show his colors as a Time player -- is roughly three feet long. Its shiny, it hums, it hisses in the rain and doesn't work underwater, but it's a god damn lightsaber. Too bad it isn't really any stronger than a regular sword, here in the Omniverse. Crumble - 300 OM (Requires: Ranged Proficiency, Time Manipulation, Area Attack Proficiency) Holding up both hands, Adam focuses on disrupting and accelerating the flow of time in a localized area, centered around a specific target. With this, he can cause entire sections of walls, floor, ceiling, or the like to rapidly age, degrade, and erode in mere seconds, creating handy ways to get around what would otherwise be moderately annoying obstacles. It can be used on smaller objects, such as weapons, but has virtually no effect at all on living beings, and moving objects are much harder to get a focus on. Due to intense focus required, this ability is not typically usable in one-on-one battles. Combustion - 600 OM (Requires: Ranged Proficiency, Time Manipulation, Area Attack Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency) With intense focus, Adam can accelerate the temporal movement of atoms in a given area while leaving the space they move through unaffected, producing a remarkable amount of heat in very short order, though restraining the imminent reaction until it reaches the bursting point, at which point he lets time in the affected area resume its normal flow...with explosive results, producing a great deal of heat, fire, and force, in what is to untrained eyes the blink of an eye. At its base level, it takes roughly four seconds to 'charge', and produces a blast approximately eight feet in diameter. This can be further charged, up to ten seconds, to create a blast nearly thirty feet in diameter. If Adam is struck a solid blow while preparing the attack, then it will go off prematurely, resulting in, at most, a flash of fire or unpleasant heat wave, but nothing actually damaging. Re: Move Approval - Roger Smith - 03-15-2015 Time Crawl - 300 OM (Requires: Ranged Proficiency, Time Manipulation, Debuff Proficiency) Adam lifts one hand, palm out toward his target, where the image of an old analog clock is superimposed over his palm. The displayed clock begins to tick slower, until it comes to a complete halt, a process which takes approximately three seconds. The designated target's perception of the world is then slowed dramatically. To them, it suddenly seems as if the rest of the world is moving much faster -- over twice as fast, in fact -- when in reality nothing has changed at all. Their reaction times will be completely thrown off, in most cases, making fighting effectively extremely difficult. Adam can maintain this effect for up to a full round of combat before it starts to lose its cost-effectiveness, stamina-wise, though he cannot do anything else while maintaining the effect. Should he stop actively maintaining it, then the target's perceptions will return to normal over the course of the next several seconds. |
