Re: Guu-y Adventures - Inlumia - 12-26-2014 . . . Are you just trying to outdo my prostitute guild and sex mage guild? Re: Guu-y Adventures - Cloud Strife - 12-26-2014 I knew nothing of this! Re: Guu-y Adventures - Inlumia - 12-26-2014 Able to turn secondaries to stone? Sounds like a Gorgan from Greek mythology. A few of those would be useful in containing the darkspawn the Blight creates. Turn the infected into stone from a distance. If Delure, the sucubus Tertiary I wrote as the head of the Prostitute guild learns of that brothel, she'll investigate and try to do business with it and extend her reach. Edit: she's also the head of the Sex Mage guild which was the base core of the Prostitute Guild. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Cloud Strife - 12-26-2014 Man, it'd be so good to get in on the blight stuff xD I love dragon age, currently finished origins, and 2 working on inquisition. And ahah xD well... I'm not sure what's going to happen to it after this story because Guu is the one who came up with the idea. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Inlumia - 12-26-2014 I'm in the Pale Moors, as is Protoman who has a character from the Tangled Greens. She may have heard of it, and Inlumia could hear of it from her. I could arrange to send Delure in if Inlumia hears of that place. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Cloud Strife - 12-26-2014 xD fair enough I guess Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 12-26-2014 Well, after we do this mission, we'll do the Mao stuff, but we'll probably still be in contact with the brothel since they'll owe us a favor and such. So if you need us to come back there for any reason, that door is there. I've been thinking, you guys think I should just get enhanced senses? Not sure if it will be useful here (already asking a question if I could use it to track in the 'Quick Questions' thread.) I was going to get insight, but it doesn't seem like I'll have much practical use for it for a while. Also, getting enhanced senses here might block me from getting Mimic until after I raise my power cap. Though, not sure how much utility Mimic would have for me since i have to see that move first in order to use it anyways. But if you guys are fine with me not contributing much to fights for a bit longer, I'm completely fine continuing being a utility character; in fact, I kind of prefer it. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Schwi Dola - 12-26-2014 Post is up! Do what you like. With Mimic your utility could come first from Desco, since summoning Yogsothoth is default for her just to get ready for battle. Nyes needs to get into the weekly Re: Guu-y Adventures - Cloud Strife - 12-26-2014 Almost forgot about that desco! thanks! and I don't mind Guu, every good group needs a utility character. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 12-26-2014 Turns out, enhanced senses alone won't help much here. So I'll let you guys think of something. Be creative! Surprise me! Of course, if we can't think of anything, we could either have a convenient line of statues leading the way, or we could just have Jereth show up out of no where and give him life sense or something to point us in the right direction. Edit: Still getting enhanced senses and it'll still be useful, just not here in particular. Edit2: For roleplaying reasons, we'll just assume our stalkers are further than 65 feet away. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-01-2015 Ok, I see a few paths this story could go. We could get to her, but it's too late. The villagers have her and they know, and their taking her downtown to decide what to do with her. At that point, we'll need to steal her from the villagers. If they know her secret, we can either end it with Hank shipping the girl and her mom somewhere far away where they could be safe, or with someone (probably Guu since she has social face) convincing the villagers the error of their ways. The flaw of this path is I'm not sure if Desco and Guu would care enough to keep going after the girl has already been caught, but if we can work around that, it might be a thrilling path. Another path is we find the girl, but we hear the villagers closing in, and we must do everything in our power to avoid them. Could be fun to think of ways to get rid of the villagers without hurting them (assuming we aren't attacking them.) We could also go the route that we discover that Hank is lying about how the village would react; they all know and he's trying to keep her to himself to groom her to be a good prostitute one day. However, not really fond of turning Hank into the bad guy. But if you guys like this route it's possible. Give input, eager to hear what you guys want. Also, if Mao isn't approved by the time we finish this story, we'll just finish up Guu's stuff by summoning her animals in the woods here. After that we could get attacked by his mooks. I think we only need to get him approved when we interact with him, because for all we know, it could be just a guy with the same name for all we know. Nyeseth, you said you wanted to do stuff in the Pale Moors? Since Mao's lab is there, we could learn that fact from the mooks and then we have an excuse to go there. Then you can get your stuff done while we wait on Mao's approval. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Schwi Dola - 01-01-2015 Well, in the event that Mao wasn't approved I would think we'd do it all anyway, but with him as a secondary with unusual power. But I think we hpuldnt be interacting with him directly until approved Re: Guu-y Adventures - Cloud Strife - 01-02-2015 The first two are closely tied, we could go for either, or both, in that we find her, but the villagers steal her from us and we have to get her back, I don't know how we would play that out. if anything, I would go with finding her and then having to hide from villagers. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-02-2015 The three men are the stalkers from before if that wasn't blunt enough. Figured it made more sense to send the village after us then taking us directly. They can still attack us later when we've made it out of this. Guu sensed them coming, but because her senses are short range, she only had time to take cover. I'll leave it up to Nyeseth and Desco on how we should proceed, either by attacking without killing, talking them down, or some other route. You can use Guu if you need to. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-06-2015 I've submitted a fix to my last post: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1180&p=11080#p11080 Basically, I've changed it so Guu gives a vague explanation on what a Cockatrice is. Also, I removed the line of the group leaving, so the two of you are open to respond or react to what's happened. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-08-2015 Adjustments have already been made Nyes. Post whenever you want. Assuming I don't get to it first
Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-10-2015 Ok, discussion time. I have an idea where i want to go with Guu's story. There's a topic about it in the help desk; basically, I want to establish a kingdom for her. However, I was thinking how you two would fit into it, since what i had in mind would send me all over the Omniverse and pretty much consume everything Guu is going to be doing for a while and it'll be unfair to both of your to drag you both along if it doesn't fit the stories you're going for. So after Mao's men jump us (since I already agreed to it), we'll have to decide if you guys want to join me on the quest or if Guu should break off for a while. If I do break off, it doesn't have to be permanent, could get back together with you guys later. Not to mention, Desco and Guu both have communicators, so we can have regular conversations and continue that character growth. But yeah, that's the thing I'm thinking about. Re: Guu-y Adventures - Schwi Dola - 01-11-2015 I think I need to see more, and if it's appropriate at the time in character Desco can break off. I don't have any grand plans to interrupt Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-12-2015 I think we'll alternate from traveling together and being separate so we can still develop our character's relationships outside of skype calls while keeping Guu's quest from taking up most of your adventures, which might happen. I tend to have a one track mind xD Re: Guu-y Adventures - Guu - 01-13-2015 Hahaha, no I meant like, in-character. Desco and Guu both have communicators. |
