RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Omni - 06-16-2017 Alex has placed no limit on consumable use, but consumables never -guarantee- victory. Ty for clarifying RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Tearen Wover - 06-16-2017 So if I start a fusion on my post, which is ordered 6/6, can I pay the double SP so it's active til my turn again in the final phase when I'd pay it again? Either way, I feel like I'm not getting very good SP efficiency. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Omni - 06-16-2017 You can, yes. (this is normal fight rules so I don't think Alex'll mind me answering) "If your opponent is posting first, you may request in the OOC topic for the fight that you wish to begin the fight transformed. They must honor this. " A rule you may have missed from the fight page. You coulda done did that with Fusion. Since you're posting last next round it'll only be a single post anyway, so you can just pay the 1-post cost. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Todd Ingram - 06-17-2017 Some of the fights are taking quite long. A fight can easily stretch over the course of 4 ooc days. What were to happen if a fight takes that long? Would the collars simply explode mid fight? RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Handsome Jack - 06-17-2017 Nah. In the rules Alex put in that you're safe unless your fight ends 2 OOC days before the deadline. I'm pretty sure that the whole "You don't have to go to a bunker for 12 hours after concluding a fight" also implies that while in mid-fight the collars won't trigger... RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Todd Ingram - 06-17-2017 Ty all for the response. @Cell, i was browsing through them, just couldn't find it RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Handsome Jack - 06-17-2017 Fights may bleed over into the next day cycle, either because of the time or waiting for a final judgment. Primes that are fighting are immune to being killed for failure to return to a safehouse UNLESS the fight ends more than 12 hours before the end of the day cycle Combat rules, towards the end. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Strazio Rockwell - 06-17-2017 Can your personal dataverse device act as the equivilent to the syntech tablet? Like can I toss the tablet and use my dataverse device as a map/item drop thing. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Odin - 06-17-2017 How exactly does being wounded effect you in a fight besides role playing? For example, let's say someone that as taken 16 damage fights someone that has taken 0. Is the wounded combat probably going to die in the first round? Can the wounded combat win (writing-wise) and still lose because of the previous injuries? Etc. Asking for a friend... RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Harry Potter - 06-17-2017 I swear I tried, but I cannot participate in Dante's Abyss, I realize this now. Would it be ok if I wrote Harry out? I would just have him die by malfunctioning collar or stepping on a landmine or something. Sorry :< RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Harlan Higgs - 06-17-2017 Just don't post and his head will explode. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Dane Regan - 06-17-2017 Aww, Harry. You sure you don't want to just randomly fight some person and ask Karl Jak to let them eliminate you? If you want a quick death, try to remove the collar and it'll instakill ya (I think). RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Cirno - 06-17-2017 So I got a actual time of when I cant post (they will be terrible if I do and less than 300 words) if someone teams with someone; and if that person posts movement posts for a group. does it count for both people or just the person posting as there character. (my time I cant post is the 23 to the 28/9th of july) Hopefully the abyss is over by then but I just wanted to be sure I just didn't go boom from no fault on my lack of wifi and electronics. RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Harry Potter - 06-17-2017 thanky for advices. i could just not post but that seems lamey. i shall think on it RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Katrielle Layton - 06-17-2017 As a Christian, I'm not going to be available for most of all Sundays. Is this going to be a problem in terms of scheduling? RE: The OFFICIAL 'Help Me, Oh Jesus' Thread (Quick Questions/Clarifications) - Handsome Jack - 06-17-2017 You're part of a group, Bendy, so unless you get unlucky and your fight post time ends up on a Sunday, you should be fine. YOU must post for YOU. A person can't post for you. They can move for you, if you're in a group, but they can't post for you. I don't assess damage between rounds. Being wounded doesn't make me "subtract points," if that's what your asking. Being wound should, however, influence your writing (don't write your character as a'okay if they've been beaten to shit, unless they have some Powers or other nonsense to avoid feeling pain or whatnot). Everyone is going to take SOME damage during a fight, unless their opponent doesn't post or is just complete garbage (and I can't genuinely say at this point we have no one writing in this event that is complete garbage). So by that logic, yes, someone could win a fight and still possibly take enough damage to lead to their death. |
