Well, as acting leader of New Babylon, Sasuke wouldn't have determined to attack a new merchant/trader to the city so quickly. He'd more likely have told you to stand down, if you wished to ever do business within the walls again. He's not just some hot headed teen, he is ruling a faction right now.
Otherwise though, everything looked good to me. =D

Tried to justify that as both I and Demetri got "steampunk" type tech not much people use otherwise, playing on "hot headed kid" theme you described pretty much everywhere in the roster and the general similarity. (and the fact that Demetri was OBVIOUSLY counting on something from your PoV)

Like I said, it was a great post!
The only part I had trouble with was where Stephan divulges his purpose there as a merchant.

Sasuke would have immediately gone into his "The King's Hand" role at that point and advised you as a citizen of Nippur to stand down whilst we handle the cities intruders.
Attacking you after you have said this, regardless of mechanical equipment (Naruto's canon has tons of mechanicle weapons and Sasuke would not have assumed you kin or in cahoots with Demetri just over this. Example) doesn't really make sense to me.
Obviously the King's hand is there to stop the invasion/intrusion, not cause it. xD
It's not a big deal, just sayin' =/

He could have detailed following after and catching up, but I made the assumption well enough and I think the reader would too. Books often don't flesh out traveling to and from scenes.

Ok, I think I made it pretty clear that Donnel was going to beat the everloving shit out of the "snotty kids" (Sidenote, he would only get a sabre if it becomes an overwhelmingly one-sided battle). And I am quite sure that "Half-a-Metre-long-tankiller-gun" was holstered in the middle of my post and that it isn't something that you can pull out and snapfire.
