Re: Official Move Approval III - Gilgamesh - 11-27-2015 Alright sorry about that. *thumbs up* Re: Official Move Approval III - Ash - 11-27-2015 Quote: Ash wrote: Time limit? It’s instantaneous. Quick grab and pull and the move is done. Is that what you mean? Re: Official Move Approval III - Gilgamesh - 11-27-2015 Yeah that is what I meant but my 2 AM brain decided to not work. Just put that in there and you're approved Re: Official Move Approval III - Ruby Rose - 11-28-2015 Alternate Form: Crescent Rose 2.0 Description: Ruby's usual Crescent Rose changes form to something much more slim, consisting of a simple crimson rod with a cross-shaped handle set in the middle, and a curved, cage-like structure sitting at the top. A blade of heat-light Dust is extended from this cage, forming a large crescent blade. The entire weapon tops its length at 5'7" and weighs less than half a kilogram, due to the material it is made out of. This allows her to swing the scythe faster, and the heat-light blade cuts easier than the usual, physical blade. However, the low weight of the weapon make it less than ideal for blocking and parrying, and attacks can be misjudged easily from the simple weight of the weapon. Ruby's look also changes; her hair grows longer and more red, her attire becomes more of a dress and her cloak becomes longer. A crimson and silver cross is hung around her neck as well, but provides no benefits. Ruby's sleeves have also become white rather than black. Over all, she has physically aged, possibly five years, having the body of a twenty year old lady. Re: Official Move Approval III - Corporal Light - 11-29-2015 Flamethrower Pistol (requires Area Attack Proficiency, requires Debuff Proficiency, requires Ranged Proficiency) - 600 OM Unlike all the other weapons Ballad has at the moment, the Flamethrower Pistol is an entirely new weapon to his arsenal. It works by having a single piece of solid wick connected to the end of the barrel of the pistol, lighting it up when Ballad flicks his thumb against the bottom of the wick. Then, a canister similar in size to a standard rotating cylinder for normal revolvers is inserted into the side of the revolver, also similar to how one would reload a normal revolver. Then, when Ballad pulls the trigger of the revolver, an archaic hammer from within the revolver pops off the cap of the canister, letting loose a gust of air from the barrel as well as the wick within it, causing the wick to light on fire and serve as a flamethrower. The canister has enough wind and wick to last for a total of six seconds before reloading, meaning each second must count. Thankfully, the flamethrower has several uses. The nature of the wick allows the flames to stick to surfaces, creating walls of fire that damage anyone who tries to pass them. These flames last around ten seconds unless something flammable is touched, in which case it would last around one minute. These flames are also capable of sticking to living beings like napalm, and provide damage overtime, though this only works if they are hit directly by the flames, and not from the walls of fire. The flames themselves are heavily damaging, though this is overcome by the short range of the flamethrower, with a maximum range being six feet, as well as low fuel that only lasts six seconds. The reloading time takes a total of two seconds to complement the short range and short usage, though he will be reloading a lot to make use of the flamethrower despite its damage and ability to stick to surfaces. Quote:All bolded words are the ones being improved. Re: Official Move Approval III - Gamzee Makara - 11-29-2015 Adam Gaite Wrote:Gamzee Makara Wrote:Just to avoid potential headache, change the hard number for how fast the lightning spear flies to an easier comparison. Something we can all reasonably guesstimate at, like the speed of an arrow, a bullet, or in this case, a good old-fashioned fastball. Do that and you're good to go, mate. The Lightning Spear is a strange projectile that Gamzee throws like a javelin. The spear itself is one meter long and appears as a solid spear of violet lightning. It erupts in a small shower of sparks upon contact with a foreign surface, excluding organic material(i.e. skin or fur) which it punctures as a regular spear would before also violently blowing up in another spark shower that doesn't extend beyond roughly 2/3 of a meter. The downside is of course that the AoE of the sparks is pretty small, and the sparks themselves don't actually do or hurt that much unless Gamzee can actually hit his target. Getting hit with the spear is similar to being pierced by a regular spear, except upon contact the projectile is white hot. It's plasma, after all. The sparks burn just as hot, but would do little more than singe a little skin off unless contact is made with an open wound. That shit will hurt. The whole experience is like beings stabbed with a fire poker that has been left in the fireplace for a way too long time. It's hotter than it should be. The sparks? Ever burn your hand with a sparkler? Those little fireworks things? Think about that but about 4 times as ouch. The spear is simply a thrown projectile and travels as such. How fast it is thrown is dependent on Gamzee's ATK. At current stat (ATK=4) I would say the spear thrown in a straight line trajectory would not be quite as fast as a fastball thrown by a major league pitcher, but pretty damn close. The spear is just like any regular object, and is affected by gravity omniphysics, so eventually it will stop moving/hit the ground due to gravity. Just like a regular spear. It will not lose its potency unless it comes into contact with a foreign surface, organic or otherwise.] As the electricity channels into his favorite weapons, the clubs become wrapped up lightning as if it were living barbed wire. The lightning dissipates on contact with any surface, so if he misses, then that's pretty much it for that club. If he manages to land a hit on his opponent with a club coiled with lightning, it is similar to being struck with an electric stun baton or taser. Coined as Stun Clubs, Gamzee can only charge his clubs once per fight, as continued use degrades the integrity and solidarity of his pins. Being struck with one of these charged weapons will cause the body to seize up and become immobilized. If the DEF is lower than my ATK, then the stun time is roughly four seconds. With a DEF higher than Gamzee's ATK, this effect can be lessened or even shrugged off. If the DEF matches my ATK, then the effect is noticeably lessened. The victim is only stunned for about two seconds. Every point after that up to 2 points over my attack will weaken it further until it is ineffective. REVISED: Stunning Choker - 300 OM - Physical Strength and Debuff Prof. Ash wraps her tail around the victim's neck, unable to lift anything heavier than 8 lbs, this only serves as a transfer point. While the tail is wrapped around the victim's neck, she shocks them with blue electricity, leaving them stunned. If heavier than 8 lbs - Which I'll always assume they are - Ash drops the body where it lands as soon as the victim is stunned. This lasts for 8 seconds. She likes to be in high places for this move, but the tail is prehensile enough to hook the back of the neck where the shock is instantaneously transferred to the spinal cord since it only takes a touch. With very little planning, she can get the job done. The Storm Demon's Catalyst - 600 OM - Ranged Prof. Dormant(=300 OM): Armed with a nano-comm that links up with her own, fingerprint scanner required for use, and programmed to only accept one ‘master’, this Shock Proof and Water Resistant handgun was designed, created, and named by Ash. She stays at Ash’s side once summoned until dismissed. In its dormant state, a sleek, slim, technological marvel straight out of a sci-fi comic book; this handgun has a longer than normal barrel, chromed white metal with thin black stripes, and attached digital-scope that emits a faint blue futuristic glow. The gun fires at a rate 1 per second, has a short-medium range, and a 15 shot magazine that requires a 20 second cool down to reload. Reload for Dormant Form can happen even if the gun is not empty, it still requires the full 20 seconds. It’s accuracy is improved when using the scope but Ash herself is a pretty good judge of distance and aim. The computer within the gun has only one purpose, and that is to prove ownership and make theft of the gun difficult. Catalyst will not fire for anyone but the pre-programed owner, until reprogrammed, and until Ash’s commlink with it is snapped.. Well good luck. Engaged(=300 OM): http://img13.deviantart.net/e981/i/2013/114/6/3/real_time_sci_fi_gun_based_on_jim_svanberg_art_by_david_j-d62wn22.jpg Catalyst requires sacrificed energy to transform from the operator, and then can be only used for two minutes before reverting and needing another charge. This is achieved by Ash sticking herself with a needle that is located on the left side where the safety switch would be. Which only react to her D.N.A. as long as she is the programmed operator. Transformation takes 9 seconds. This changes Catalysit into a sleek sniper rifle which can only fire the remaining of the clip once every 3 seconds if rushed and cannot be reloaded until she reverts back in two minutes. Turning her into a long-range specialty weapon with more damage. The Storm Demon's Calamity - 600 OM - Ranged Prof. In its dormant state, a sleek, slim, technological marvel straight out of a sci-fi comic book; this handgun has a longer than normal barrel, mat black metal with thin chromed white stripes, and stripes of blue that faintly glow with a futuristic light. The lights are placed through the barrel to act as sited, glowing ‘iron’ sites. The gun fires at a rate 1 per second, has a short-medium range, and a 15 shot magazine that requires a 20 second cool down to reload. Reload for Dormant Form can happen even if the gun is not empty, it still requires the full 20 seconds. It does not have a scope like its sister gun, but Ash uses and updates the sites for accuracy, if she feels she needs to use them. The computer within the gun has only one purpose, and that is to prove ownership and make theft of the gun difficult. Calamity will not fire for anyone but the pre-programed owner, until reprogrammed, and until Ash’s commlink with it is snapped.. Well good luck. Engaged(=300 OM - Ranged and Physical Strength Prof.): Apperance: http://40.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6k9uzamAL1qdqlkxo7_1280.jpg Calamity requires sacrificed energy to transform from the operator, and then can be only used for two minutes before reverting and needing another charge. This is achieved by Ash sticking herself with a needle that is located on the right side where the safety switch would be. Which only react to her D.N.A. as long as she is the programmed operator. Transforming takes 9 seconds. This changes Calamity into a shot gun which can only fire the remaining of the clip and cannot be reloaded until she reverts back in three minutes. Turning her into a short-range specialty weapon with more power and damage. She fires once every 2 seconds. [Quick Edit: As I am not sure where to put this. When Either Catalyst or Calamity is in Engaged form, their sister is also gone. They do not fuse or anything, just both engaged forms are generally used with both hands, so there's no need for the sister to be around. So she also only has access to the one at a time when in the transformed version.] NEW: I think it was Minato Namikaze that said I'd have to make 300 OM moves for special rounds, so lets see how these look - But I've misplaced the quote, and can't find it in the thread. Stunning Rounds - 300 OM - Calamity and/or Catalyst - Debuff Prof Ash does not carry actual bullets, but with either or both Calamity and Catalyst she can concentrate for 6 seconds to fill the magazine with any number of electricity infused rounds - as long as she does not exceed the maximum of 15 rounds. She can do this in their dormant or engaged forms. These rounds react upon impact, sending a short burst of electricity through the victim and stuns them for exactly 5 seconds per shot. It does not do any physical damage. This DOES NOT reload the weapons, just changes the ammo. Dormant: If she chooses to reload the game before using up all the rounds, changed or not, it reverts all rounds back to normal, and still takes 20 seconds. Engaged Forms CAN NOT be reloaded. Chaotic Rounds - 300 OM - Engaged: Calamity Ash does not carry actual bullets, but with Calamity she can concentrate for 6 seconds to fill the remaining magazin with scatter rounds, and can only be used in the shot gun form. These rounds react once they are fired, sending out shrapnel at anyone within the two foot spread. This DOES NOT reload the weapons, just changes the ammo. Engaged Forms CAN NOT be reloaded Re: Official Move Approval III - Dust - 11-29-2015 A Pup’s Bite - 300 OM Another basic attack of Dust’s, partially transforming his teeth. They become sharp, but no bigger than his normal teeth. This happens over a matter of seconds, but only lasts for a bite. Hit or miss, he only has a moment to take advantage of the new chompers. -The cost for this is a simple kiss that lasts 3 seconds at least. Re: Official Move Approval III - Athena Myaló - 11-29-2015 Illusory Cacophony (Tier 1 Super Utility) - Athena takes several moments (5-10 seconds or so) to concentrate on the mind of the target. Once she has achieved focus (she cannot be actively doing anything else during this time, even semi-automatic functions such as walking), she essentially targets the sound receptors in the brain of the target, causing incredibly loud and discordant noise to explode in their mind. It sounds as if someone hit all the keys of a piano at once right next to each of the target's ears, but even louder, and it cannot be blocked out by covering their ears, since it originates inside their head. The sound gradually fades out, but (on a single target) takes about 10 seconds to reach a bearable decibel level, another 10 to become quiet enough that they can hear others nearby shouting (or other rather loud noises), and 10 after that to peter out completely. As soon as the sound first goes off, Athena can once again turn her attention to other matters. For the first ten seconds, tasks such as aiming a weapon or communicating properly (especially telepathically) are virtually impossible for the target, and the effect wears off gradually. After 30 seconds, there is no lasting damage to the target. (Side note: this usually even works on deaf targets: it just depends on whether the reason for their deafness is a problem with their ears, or the nerves that transmit auditory signals to their brain.) (600 OM: Requires Ranged Attack Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency [this is for use on multiple secondaries outside of official event/battle], Debuff Proficiency, Homing Proficiency, and Telepathy) Re: Official Move Approval III - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 11-30-2015 Tom Marvolo Riddle Wrote:Connor reminded me I wanted a similar move for a while now and it would perhaps be useful in the upcoming days and it will be a good lead in when I finally purchase a vault. Re: Official Move Approval III - Thaal Sinestro - 11-30-2015 Okor's Gift (Requires Debuff Proficiency) - 300 OM Despite overcoming most of the Nurglite's various maladies, one yet lingers. A patch of blackened veins pulses on the jagged scar on the outlaw's abdomen, where Okor's septic shiv made it's mark upon her. Grandfather Nurgle offers a splendid cocktail of maladies for anyone who comes in contact with the blood that flows from these darkened veins. Boils, cysts, and necrosis immediately spring up anywhere that the blighted humor touches, and the contagion only gets worse from there. The victim feels weak, dizzy, and becomes prone to violent bouts of nausea within a minute, and as time goes on the weaker of body will simply die outright (if course the death part is only used with specific permission). The strong will either succumb to the illness and fall into a coma, or seek medical attention. Healing with OM in the normal fashion will cure this malady, as well as any healing moves dedicated to curing diseases. In the first case, the victim will need a few minutes of peace to cure themselves. The amount of time that it takes the disease to advance depends on the victims strength, will, and narrative discretion. If they don't want it to effect their character horribly, it won't. If they want to make a show of it, the disease is more than happy to add some drama to the scene. Re: Official Move Approval III - Ruby Rose - 12-01-2015 Adding a variable to Crescent Rose 2.0: Name: Crescent Rose 2.0 - Pistol Form (+300 to Crescent Rose 2.0) Description: The length of the shaft collapses to only around a foot long, and the dagger-like pommel flips ninety degrees, revealing a gun barrel. The shaft then rotates ninety degrees towards the main side of the scythe and the side of the cross can be used as a handle, containing a trigger used to fire the pistol made by the transformed shaft. In this mode, the blade dissipates and is unusable. The transformation takes around two seconds from scythe to pistol forms. The pistol's effective firing range is within fifty meters, but ability to hit the target is all based on the wielder's own accuracy. The shots carry modest power, matching that of an FN Five-Seven in damage, given the wielder's own strength allows this. The pistol can fire around one shot per second, giving a relatively decent fire rate. Reloading the pistol is simple, and only takes around a second to remove a clip, and a second to replace it. Re: Official Move Approval III - Zack Fair - 12-01-2015 Mako Charge (T1 Transformation) ATK: +2 DEF: +1 SPD: +2 TEC: +0 Zack's blood is infused with Mako energy, the natural energy of his home world. This enhances his body and grants him strength and abilities far beyond what a normal warrior would be capable of. After many years, Zack has learned to temporarily super charge that energy and push his body to new limits. When powering up the Mako energy in his body Zack moves faster and hits harder, and also becomes slightly more durable. A light green aura surrounds him while he is powered up, but otherwise there are no visual differences. Re: Official Move Approval III - Gilgamesh - 12-01-2015 Ash Wrote:I had some extra time on my hands. Stunning Choker-How long can she does this from? It might need a ranged proficiency too. Also 8 seconds is super long for no caveats. Add some downsides. The Storm Demon's Catalyst-That's fine at 600, seems like caveats are fine. One thing is the "DNA required" thing is a no go. If someone has Mimic or some other form that can copy or steal then they'll be able to. The Storm Demon's Calamity-Same comments as above Stunning Rounds-It's going to be 300 per form. 300 for both pistols since it's the same thing, and then 300 for the sniper and 300 for the shotgun. Each form would be very different with their rounds. A shotgun blast is totally different from a sniper round. Also a 5 second stun for little added caveats to this weapon makes it extremely powerful and you're going to need to add some downsides. Chaotic Rounds- Gonna need area proficiency and this move is fine Dust Wrote:A Pup’s Bite - 300 OM This move is fine but just tell me how fast it takes to transform his teeth. Wait this is only used on secondaries? Why are you making it a super move? I mean you can easily make it offensive or utility if you needed. If you want something on secondaries it would just be a move. i would try and make it less super specific and say instead like "At fist the pain is unbearable and the target loses hearing and motor functions for the next 30 seconds, however the effect slowly decays during this time." Just a suggestion. You could also make this offensive and have it do actual damage if you wanted Thaal Sinestro Wrote:Okor's Gift (Requires Debuff Proficiency) - 300 OM So by touching you they get dizziness and nausea and the rest is more RP flavor? Well, it's not only for secondaries. That's the way I want to use it at first (during my next post, actually), which is why I'm buying the Area Attack Proficiency, but I'd like to be able to use it against other single PCs as well at later points (the description I wrote is when it's used on one fellow Prime, since that's how I'd use it in an official context - I imagine the effect will be much weaker on multiple targets... should I include that in the description?). Should I change it to a regular move, though? I hadn't thought of that... I'd just assumed that since it was pretty powerful and took a lot of energy, it had to be a Super Move. What do you think would be best, so I could use it both against a bunch of secondaries or a single Prime target depending on the situation? Actually, it would be nice to be able to use it on multiple Primes at once, too, come to think of it. Okay, I made some edits to the move up there in the quote to simplify it. How's it look now? ||) Ehhh, I have a couple reasons I'd rather keep it from actually doing damage. The way it is is fine.
