Would it be possible to change the order of who goes first if one party is unable to respond within the first 20-hour period due to IRL events? Like in your example, Dante notes that he will not have an opportunity to post in this first 20 hour period and thus asks if Abyss could go first or if it could be delayed?

The person who posts first will be the aggressor -- ie, whoever initially instigated the fight/issued the Challenge, unless both parties let me know ahead of time or right after I post that "hey, Karl, can we swap?"
As mentioned, there won't be any extensions.

Considering the formation of teams, how would challenges work in the instance of multiple people vs a single person? Or two teams fighting each other? Would it still just be two posts per player, or would the side with less people get a proportionate number of posts to make it even?

If two teams fight, each person still gets two posts each.
In a mismatched fight (1v2, 3v2, etc), each person still gets two posts each.

So Vita Compasses, I need some detail on how they work.
It registers Primes within a certain distance, but is it automatic or do you have to press a button? How does it log people and call them up for tracking? Can I just conjure an image of a Prime I bumped into but didn't get the name of and it'll be like 'yeah I got em.'

Even then, everyone's movement is being broadcast and tracked on the Dataverse. With items enabled it really just eliminates the meta-concerns of knowing where we all are, which I think is a good move on Alex's part.
