RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Marisa Kirisame - 01-07-2017

well its only like one cannon from summoning I am cutting the assault vehical out.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Marisa Kirisame - 01-07-2017

Chara will be dropping out of the assault for reasons such as (not wanting to die, not wanting to lose her subjects, not wanting a bounty or war crimes against her etc, etc.)

Damn, I didn't suspect this to turn out this way...

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Skeletor - 01-07-2017

mannnnn.... people dropping even as I write my post. I'm still game if all y'all are, but boy o boy will this be an uphill battle.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Illidan Stormrage - 01-07-2017

I'll be going ahead with it either way, but I won't be too crushed if the remaining pull out.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Crocodile - 01-07-2017

I wish I was a bad guy so I could help ya out. I feel bad for ya. Them odds...

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - The Humble Sage - 01-07-2017

I mean it is quite consistent to Skeletor's character not to stop attacking a place that he should really give up on. We're gonna get wrecked, but we can maybe at least make a dent into their position.

Any sense in trying to get some more NPC help? (like drow or something?)

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Crocodile - 01-07-2017

I mean, if it wasn't already underway, I'd suggest trying to make friends with Drac. He can't be happy that Darkshire has become more resistant to his forces.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Illidan Stormrage - 01-07-2017

Well Illidan is an officer in Dracula's army. I suppose I could ask staff if Illidan could solicit his help?

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Trixie - 01-07-2017

Ask the Empire for help.

*nudge nudge*

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Weiss Schnee - 01-07-2017

Kerrigan plans to maintain her course, and will summon what she can to help out with this.
What I might suggest is we shift Illidan's goal - rather than trying to actually wreck it, just going for a certain amount of damage and pulling out, targetting some sort of objective. That might make it a little easier for the bad guys to have something accomplishable.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Crocodile - 01-07-2017

I doubt the Empire will care enough. Not much of value in the Pale Moors for them, what with Dracula there. Being so closely tied to the Kingdom will also make them wary. I doubt Palpatine wants outright war with Aragorn. Yet.

Definitely wouldn't care enough to send an assault force, or anything resembling a regular force. They might be willing to send primes (since "who knows what those wacky kids will get up to. Why would you expect us to be able to stop these imperial-aligned primes. Stop trying to make us accountable for something we obviously had no hand in encouraging). Something like one of Gero's newer projects or the like for testing, or supplies, materials, etc. that they know won't be traced to them or that has ulterior motive to be used is also completely possible.
Odds are we'd have to do something in return, before or after, though

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Kelly MacAryn - 01-08-2017

Figuring out how the NPC armies are going to work mechanically really needs to be addressed, as well. Especially considering the sudden dearth of attackers.

Also, I think Trixie was suggesting that she'd be willing to join the offense.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Revan Noctis - 01-08-2017

Idk if the empire would really want Dracula to gain power.. and the destruction of darkshire would mean that Palpatine would need to fear future attacks from Dracula.
I intend to help roleplay some npc defenders if I can.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Crocodile - 01-08-2017

The Empire probably doesn't care if Drac gets power. After all, it's nowhere near them. It'd be Aragorn's problem to deal with.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Sarah Kerrigan - 01-08-2017

actually, If we really want extra support - anyone mind a minor delay? There's always the idea of going to bug Menzoberranzan for support. Drow are the type who'll fight just for the sake of causing havoc, after all, and even if they're personally not interested in shedding their own blood, they're the type who'd be more than willing to part with some of their slave soldiers, or common fighters, for a favor later - given how little such beings mean to them.

RE: Assault on Darkshire - Discussion - Revan Noctis - 01-08-2017

I dont really want to delay too much longer
Besides I dont think a lack of npc soldiers really is the problem.. lol but who knows
